  1. Yeah, I could go for a Thor and IM to go with him. Hopefully we'll see some new releases for that film. It's still my personal favorite.
  2. All of these are looking fine to me. I don't collect the MCU so a lot of it is a pass for me but if I actually see the Cap figure I might grab him and head swap since I always display in mask. I'm really surprised to see that Stane/Monger set. Thats honestly really cool. Still hoping for an update to Avengers (2012) Cap in this line but if not, oh well.
  3. One of my biggest regrets in figures I've sold off was the walgreens set of FF and Surfer. A friend offered me his set at a price I couldn't turn down. I can't believe I ever sold these. What an amazing group of figures! And I may be a little off base but the face on this Invisible Woman is just beautiful, imo the prettiest lady in the line.. So glad to have this bunch back in line on the shelf.
  4. That is absolutely beautiful. Wow! If this were a mass release it's one I would buy just out of appreciation for the design...and because I have that classic Namor.
  5. Have you tried lighter fluid? I'm not being funny either. Take some zippo lighter fluid and put it on a q-tip and scrub the Dickens out of that spot with a good amount of pressure from your finger. I've had similar issues and it worked. No guarantees of course. If you do try this, be sure and use a soft toothbrush and some luke warm water with dish soap and clean her good afterwards.
  6. Man. Those elbows on Skull/Dormammu are awkward. It's going to take some doing to make that look right in front of my other Cap villains on that shelf. Hopefully I can pose him and hide it.
  7. The thing is, that's exactly what Hasbro does with Transformers. Yes, they're not exactly always to scale, but they put some huge figures at retail. Trypticon and the upcoming Ark spring to mind. At this point, Marvel is definitely capable of being on par with bots so I don't see any excuse that they can't do the same. Granted, I would expect Haslab to be bigger than anything like that but I'd be fine with them not being enormous personally.
  8. I still have the toybiz versions of my favorite characters but like you, Hasbro has taken over my display. And they need to do yellowjacket and I would love a deluxe Giant-man if he stood as tall as MODOK since his old 9ft height is fine by me.
  9. Nova is a big one, as that's a big must for a lot of collections. Hopefully we're proved wrong on finding these.
  10. I wouldn't mind getting my hands on Quasar for my Avengers shelf but highly doubt I'll come across him since the walgreens in my area are still full of Medusa and Namor. The exclusives game is getting worse and worse and I refuse to play along.
  11. My Deluxe MODOK came today. I never thought I'd say it but I really think it puts the toybiz version to shame. And that's coming from a guy who spent years tracking down the toybiz one. The paint apps are way just as good as the original. The little bit of extra articulation makes the original feel kind of frustrating. My main gripe with this one is that the hand that holds his controller was too tight and took me forever to get it to hold the controller. I also don't like that his alternate hands are completely splayed open instead of posed in a more organic way. That said, it's a wonderful figure and has a hallowed place amongst my villains.
  12. I'm really debating this Iron Man. I don't want to get into MCU but seeing as how I have most of the Caps this is making me consider an MCU big 3 on my shelf. Anyone know of a good Thor to pair with this IM? Preferably from Avengers 2012.
  13. Nice work, Gigantor. I really dig the color green on this guy. I see you painted your Iron Man's details too. Very nice.
  14. You lucky jerk! I just got my shipping notification today and I'm all to pieces with anticipation.
  15. I have my issues with Dan Slott but I'm really tempted to get this. Seems like a good read for anyone into the FF.
  16. Good luck with those rainbow colors 😆 Seriously though, good luck and have fun. Be and sure and post it up.
  17. Are you doing a complete repaint or just covering the blue? If so, be sure and mix some yellow and white until it matches the yellow on the arms and legs. That was the part I had to figure out.
  18. That doesn't surprise me. I thought it was cool that happened but I figured it'd be a one time gag. I really wish Aaron's run would end sooner than that. I want to read about my team but his characterizations and overuse of bad humor just got on my nerves. I had to let it go.
  19. I saw the jacuzzi scene in Avengers, I had forgotten about that one. I'm glad it still happens. Maybe I'm just reading the wrong books.
  20. I agree with all of this. I love disagreements because thats human nature but these guys don't do we all do. They're not going to come to blows when they know what's on the line. Maybe from time to time a quick squabble but if Cap and IM start Thor should put them in their place or any variation of that exchange. Now the bystander would say: "must be Tuesday. " Yeah, I really miss the days when we would see Avengers at diners together or characters jogging together in the park or something. Now they just brawl and constantly fight off the apocalypse.
  21. You know...you're 100% right. I'm glad we can finally see heroes standing together as we should. For a while there it was the opposite way too often.
  22. Stunning repaint on this! This is what Hasbro should have done!
  23. I can't speak for anyone but myself but honestly I couldn't care less about baf parts. I have a few that I bought completed already. The few complete waves I've bought I got because it was a perfect lineup and I wanted them all not because I had to have that baf. I sold off the bafs both times I completed them. If it meant more accessories and more attention to each figure, I would be fine with skipping the bafs. For what I've spent on the bafs I have, I would have been happy with each character just coming as a single release/deluxe. Peg warmers warm the pegs regardless of what piece they come with. I really don't see it making a difference. I do know that my friends and fellow collectors always just buy a completed BAF. I honestly can't recall someone telling me they bought a wave just to complete their figure. The whole point I'm trying to make is in my experience people are either selling off the completed BAF or theyre selling off the figures they didn't want when completing their baf so what's the point? Just my 2 cents.
