Agreed. I'm almost positive we'll see those colors eventually.

Marvel Legends Sightings and Hauls thread
sentinelofliberty41 replied to aaozz9's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
I'm not sure which of those 2 figures interests you most but I found Klaw loose at a convention and I absolutely love that figure and recommend it for the Avengers villain shelf. It's a great use of that particular buck. Very poseable and a great paint app. I didn't want Shuri so I can't verify for her. -
Classic Captain America: Just repaint the 80th Cap in those brighter colors. While I love the 80th and it's flag accurate colors, I'd like to see that variant. Plus, a lot of folks still need that mold in their collections. Red and Blue (classic) Wasp: I don't know how most folks feel but I actually really like the Wasp figure from the Avengers Retro Collection Wave and I'd love to see it in her more classic red and blue. Classic Falcon: That recent Falcon should have had the classic red and white outfit and a Redwing. Redwing aside, the figure is awesome and a little paint would easily make it the better costume.

Ah man...I thought I'd talked myself out of getting this one since the 80th seems fine for my default IM but these photos shot that down. I love it. This will definitely be on my Avengers shelf. I'm like most of you and that hologram head is going straight to the parts bin. Now. Any chance we could see a reuse of 80th Cap for those classic brighter colors to match this?

That would be great, actually. Heck, I would even settle for something like we got with the Arnim Zola baf where it was basically a decal behind clear plastic. Surely they could easily do something like the unibeam.

Absolutely! Lou Ferrigno Hulk needs to happen too. -

I agree with you 100% on this but a Reb Brown Captain America in my collection would put a huge smile on my face. -
Shew. I'm awful at fine detail work like that. The Gundam marker could work well though. Thanks for the suggestion.

Yeah. The colors are technically more accurate to a classic IM but honestly I don't know if I can justify it for that paint scheme. I really don't see any reason to replace my 80th with this.

That's what I was getting at. To use this figure as a classic Iron Man, wouldn't I need to paint the reactor white and the slots black?

I was really interested in that Iron Man at first for the sake of having that figure in the classic comic colors but arent the blue circles on his chest and the eye and mouth slots the wrong colors? I don't want to have to paint all that.

I was already excited about this piece but the sculpt, articulation and size have me even more excited. I'm not crazy about all the seams from the assembly of the figure but that's not a major gripe. Can't wait until it ships next month. Somehow seeing it in hand and next to the toybiz version like this just elevate the look and paint.

This right here. This version of the figure looks like an overgrown leprechaun.

Hasbro Fan Fest Marvel Legends Panel
sentinelofliberty41 replied to JayC's topic in Marvelous News's General Area
Man, you aren't kidding, those arms should be the standard for any upcoming figures with that mid to large build. I really hope I can find this guy when the time comes as it looks great! -
If he didn't feel that connection, would he have been romantically involved with her the way he was in Civil War? In that film their relationship was in full swing or at least seemed that way . I don't see him having any problems with her. And yes, Haley Atwell is drop dead gorgeous (that red dress scene in First Avenger springs to mind) but personally Emily VanCamp isn't too bad herself, especially with that girl next door thing going on.

You would think they would have mixed parts from the 80th Stark and Silver Centurion and altered the paint. It practically made itself. -

I get that for scale but personally I'd be fine with the baf. Much like I just want a Giant-Man that's 9 inches for the 9 foot tall version height he maintained back in the day. Regardless. It is what it is and I'd say they have a lot planned. -

Huh. I stand corrected. I'm glad you're into it but that's just not something I could do even if I wanted to. My big complaint is that because of the pricing and everything a lot of FF fans who may want a Galactus are left out because the only options are the ridiculously expensive baf or the even more ridiculously expensive haslab one. I get it but it sucks for budget collectors. -

If I'm wrong ill stand corrected but I thought the body of Ursa was the sasquatch/wendigo/xenmu body some different parts? Has the sentinel even started shipping? My point is that the sentinel is barely out the gate and they want another fanfund. I personally don't like the idea of Hasbro needing a fanfund since they're frigging Hasbro. I just think it's kind of crappy to do to the collectors.
