  1. Like I understand hasbro as a conglomerate corporation gonna penny pinch as much as possible but the arms could have atleast if not all the limbs could have been pinless. Like the Sabertooth 2 pack had pinless arms. So the tooling cost wold have been zero as they already had the sculpt, they really couldn't have used those arms? Its glaring honestly. But did I pre-order this? Yes. I am for the most part content? Yes. Could this have been better? Yes.
  2. I couple of things to note, I am happy they are keeping the thing at regular MSRP. Though it seems like Reed is a single pack here, I am hoping for some stretch accessories, BUT if Hasbro did something akin to Jada's Dhalsim, I would have paid deluxe prices (as we know, Hasbro wouldn't give you really cool stretch accessories at regular price, cmon now). But I would eat my words GLADLY if they did.
  3. I got it in today, it is a beast. The size is quite ridiculous, but the fluid articulation reminds me of how the Punisher 2 pack feels in hand, like a higher quality. I just wish they put this level of devotion into a maximum Hulk instead... regardless, it's a great figure, and it's only been a short time, but this is easily high up in my ML top ten.
  4. This is so disappointing to me. Here we have Hasbro doing much better things on their MCU-based figures, specifically w/in the last yr or so, the old ones are just outdated badly. I hope Hasbro comes around and gives us this figure or a popular version of Chris Evans cap with an updated articulation scheme.
  5. Wow, now that i think about it we have seen this sentinel how many times now? They have shown us the final product at Comic-Con and I believe on one of their live streams (or at least semi-final), and we have yet to see a painted dragon man...
  6. This. Though I preordered both I really am more invested in Dragon man.
  7. I can dig it, I am a big fan of Loeb so we will see how this turns out.
  8. Yep, I considered that scenario because it is plausible, I was hoping Hasbro would make a line from its property from its shared comic book universe through all of its acquisitions ie. like Micronauts, ROM (maybe even Flex Armstrong, inhumaniods, etc). I thought at least ROM and some micronauts might do decent enough to warrant a short-lived line. Still hoping Hasbro makes some characters around those ethos at least w/in the Marvel license if they're not going to do so within their properties. JUST GIVE ME A BARON KARZA!
  9. This is 100% factual. ROM is what the team can do ON EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER. This had to have been some passion project, so why would they put a lot of budget on all new tooling, stellar paint, and a larger build for a D-list character? The articulation/build/paint stellar, accurate to just lovely. And my favorite part is the scaling. I am a big proponent of accurate scaling, the ML rarely does it right due to the reuse of like 3 male bodies. And not one example pisses me off more that silver surfer, on a spidey esque buck, wtf? Like, if they can do ROM like this at a regular price, what would even be the point of the "maximum" line? I just want an accurate taller and slender built silver surfer with a good ass paint job and yes I would pony up maximum price just to get this done even though as we all can see that is unnecessary considering the work they did with this mini comic wave.
  10. I completely forgot about their Hulk release, and it looks stunning from afar, but I never purchased it. Honestly can't say why I did not, and it's not like I feel that I have a definitive Hulk, which I was hoping the maximum Hulk to be. So I'm going to just keep on waiting until someone somewhere releases the one.
  11. Also like to note @AndyL the shoulder articulation is fully functional. I honestly cant see hasbro topping this. Unless they try a more mordern rendition again.
  12. Just want to say one this figure being released 4 yrs ago in bonkers. One its a great figure like this isn't a brick like older diamond select this is one of their best 5 ever in all their lines and I will stand on that (tho I do hate most if there's line but iron giant, silver centurion Ironman, beta ray bill, apocalypse, and this are just stunners). This thing is WELL worth 30 maybe even more.
  13. Wow, this looks phenomenal. Almost too enticing. I may even like this more than the regular version.
  14. Now, I'd buy that for a dollar!
  15. This might be a hot take here, but I thought Namor was by far the best part of the Black Panther movie, which I unexpectantly enjoyed except for the poor CGI ie riri's suit and anticlimactic fight scene that was not btw Shuri and Namor (their plot was cool its the others I think just sucked). Though I was big on the proponent of Namor being and looking as superhero should, and instead he looked like a guy who is in shape (had to google cuz I could not remember if he was soft looking and honestly he doesn't look bad but his legs are a little thin and not nearly broad enough) just not hero shape they could have done a far better job on the physical athestics of his persona but other than that glaring issue I genieuly think they improved on Namors character and background. I have never seen Huerta in any other media, so this was more initial reaction to his acting, and IMO he carried the movie due in part to bringing and delivering a different feel to the character that I thought was an interesting spin.
