  1. Late to the game/party, but here goes. Would like to fill out the Defenders, including the "Defenders for a Day ", and some other more obscure teams (Deep Six, Champions of Xandar, Rangers, etc...) New : 1-Clea, 2-Torpedo, 3-Tagak the Leopard Lord & Opar, 4- Capt. Ultra, 5-Stingray, 6-Tamara, 7-Mimic, 8-Red Wolf & Lobo, 9-Texas Twister, 10-Phantom Rider, 11-Ajak, 12-Ikaris, 13-The Comet, 14-Zephyr, 15-Blitzkrieg (er), 16-Steel Spider, 17-Prester John the Wanderer, 18-Straw Man, 19-Venus (Aphrodite), 20-Karthon the Quester, 21-Dr. Druid Already Made: 1-Living Laser (classic), 2-green Quicksilver, 3- Hank Pym (red jumpsuit or Wasp II), 4-Angel (red/white costume), 5-Banshee (green & yellow costume), 6-Black Panther (first appearance), 7-Mockingbird (classic costume), 8-full-size Original Human Torch (first in the Invaders set), 9- Quasar (full size costume #2 or #3), 10-Red Guardian (female), 11-ambulatory Prof. X (yellow costume), 12-Man-Ape (classic costume M'Baku), 13- Wasp (in an iconic costume), 14-Sub-mariner (classic green trunks), 15-Triton (full size), 16-Karnak (full size), 17-Gorgon (full size), 18-Ronan the Accuser (classic green), 19-Sandman-green armor, 20-Blastaar (classic costume), 21-Guardsman (Michael O'Brien head).
  2. Definitely would go with #1 or #3, those are his classic looks. To me, #4 is the most dated look, even though it's the most recent. Also, agree with those commenting on how entertaining his solo series was-it went 60 some issues, with the same writer too, the missed Mark Gruenwald.
  3. Pretty comprehensive list, I could go for a lot of the options. Narrowed it down by deliberately choosing teams/groups with little to no representation with the idea that the whole filling in teams concept is already an incentive to produce those characters. I went with: -Olympian gods (the most well-known pantheon to the general public and Marvel's second most developed pantheon after the Asgardians) -Agents of Atlas (first team) -Emissaries of Evil (first team: original Gladiator, Stilt-Man, Leap Frog, etc...Daredevil's underrepresented with enemies and these guys are visually interesting, quirky) -Fear Lords (need more supernatural villains, chance to get Nightmare, again visually interesting characters) -Knights of Wundagore (with High Evolutionary, Man-Beast, Knights, Recorder 211, could throw in Quicksilver, Adam Warlock, Black Knight or Thor for an anchor character) -Savage Land Mutates (could incorporate Ka-Zar, classic Shanna the She-Devil, Plunderer with Mutates under The Savage Land as a heading) -Rangers (visually appealing characters; would give some representation to the rest of the country rather than just NYC heroes) -S.H.I.E.L.D. (classic agents like Val de Fontane, Clay Quartermain, Gabe Jones, maybe mixed with some of the TV agents: Quake/Daisy, May, Fitzsimmons, Coulson, Mac, Yo-Yo) -Salem's Seven (George Perez designed, mystical team) -Zodiac (first human team) Honorable mention: Avengers Academy/Initiative, Power Pack, Eternals, Golden Age (Liberty Legion), Serpent Society, Winter Guard, Neal Adams X-men, Defenders (core non-team characters with maybe some "Defenders for a Day" members thrown in), Great Lakes Avengers, Deep Six. Would also go for: Night Shift (with Shroud), Circus of Crime, Champions of Xandar, Imperial Guard, Deep Six (Sub-mariner team with Stingray, Tamara, Triton, etc...)
  4. Great poll. What about Steel Spider? I know he hasn't been seen in a long time, but he had a cool series of appearances In "Thunderbolts" and before that in the MC2 Spider-Girl series. A few others occurred to me also: Annex; Goldbug; The Shroud; The Headsman and Commanda (from Kurt Busiek's excellent "Untold tales of...") and Gog as a legit oversized build-a-figure. Anyway, I went with: Rocket Racer (with a magnetic board or grips of some kind for wall attachment); Grizzly; Kangaroo (either version); Gibbon; Humbug; White Tiger (Hector Ayala). Tinkerer (maybe with some weapons created for various client villains), Looter; Hippo and. Aunt May (she's too integral to Peter Parker's story to not do). Honorable mention to: Madame Web; Ringer (though only with ring weapons); The Fly; Grim Hunter; Shathra; The Rose; Will-o-the-Wisp; Shriek; Solo and Styx & Stone.
