  1. The road to hell is paved with Hasbro's good intentions... Star Wars collectors are faced with these same issues, and are not looking forward to the prospect of having an enclosed box with no potential to choose between the sloppy paint apps and switched out figures either. While Hasbro is trying to do something they view as good, and maybe the overall net effect on the planet may be a positive one, (the jury is still out on that), Hasbro forgets that when paper breaks down in an confined space, (like a dump, or in a trash bag), and can't breathe, it emits harmful chemicals as it breaks down, and gases that damages our ecosystem. So if the cardboard isn't recycled what the collectors are throwing away will be harmful to the environment as well. Not to mention the increased demand on the worlds lumbar supply which is growing steadily year after year. Where both substances are able to be recycled, to me it would make more sense if Hasbro did away with frivolous lines that didn't sell - THAT would save the most plastic.
  2. Got this set mainly for Pyro. I was hoping Rogue would be worth keeping - after I got the set, well for me she isn't worth keeping. Don't like either face sculpt, she looks - old - I guess. I like the classic comic figure much better. I agree with others who commented that Pyro is too muscular, but I still like the scale and detail better than the Toy Biz offering so for me he's a keeper. I don't like that they released them as a two pack set - really no need to.
  3. Absolutely hated Gwen having sex with Norman. It made zero sense, and was used purely for shock value to tell a very weak story line. It was a shame too because I liked the rest of JMS's Spider-Man run. I stopped buying Spidey comics for a long time after that arc, and still don't read them with the frequency I once did. Gwen was always a rather special character to me, someone who Peter should have married had the Goblin not killed her.
