  1. It took me awhile to decide if I was willing to drop the coin on this, because I DID keep comparing it in my mind to a Transformer Titan. It seemed like it should be a lot cheaper in comparison. But then I thought: a Transformer, while made of more parts, is mostly hollow. A Marvel Legend is solid in the arms and legs. There's probably a LOT more (expensive) plastic in there...
  2. This is going to sound awful, but what do you guys think the resale value of this will be? The sail barge is going for twice the original retail, and that's for JUST the barge (without the tier add-ons). But that ended at about 4,000 being made, and the sentinel is at least four times that (I'm unclear as to whether the posted totals include, say, Australian preorders) The reason I ask is the same as others I'm sure. I REALLY want this, but $350US is a lot to drop on a toy, and buying two in the hopes of selling one to offset the cost a little is a large amount of money to just giveawa
  3. Ummmmm...it's not really Hasbro's fault. I mean, sure, they are the ones who decided it would be an exclusive, but Target's crappy pre-order system is the issue. Another user already said the exclusive Red Hulk was easy to find. Target just set a limit to the preorders, which is probably WAY less than their planned order. To make it cost effective for Hasbro, they are making thousands of this set. It'll be ok, and pretty easy to find. Trust me.
  4. Strange...the Nimrod pack is $79.99 on Amazon.ca as well. No exchange rate? $80 for three figs is a really good price, considering they are usually $30 each.
  5. I still think either Bastion or a Prime Sentinel is in the works. Bastion and the female have different costumes...Hasbro is probably either: Planning to release a Bastion that matches the female. You could use your Prime head on him, and use the alternate Bastion head to make a classic-looking Bastion, or Planning to release a Prime Sentinel that matches the female. Pick up two of those, and you could use the alt head with Bastion to get two different male Primes. It makes total sense...look at how many figures come with alternate heads for OTHER figures (Prof X (Shadow King
  6. Oh my...brilliant! Hasbro made a cardboard throne for the SDCC Transformer a couple of years ago. It had thin black pastic taped to it, so the figure could fit snugly in it... I REALLY hope someone at Hasbro is reading this!
  7. So, seeing the female Prime Sentinel...I bet we get a regular release of a male Prime Sentinel, and the extra head that comes with Bastion will fit him. Bastion's outfit is different enough from the female that I can't see them working too well together as two Prime Sentinels. But Bastion with two male and one female cohort in matching outfits? Glorious!
