Oh, the HasLab version looks far better in this image. You can tell Hot Toys is based on a real person though, which is good for MCU collectors. The lighting making the HasLab horns or whatever a different colour is a little jarring though

Seeing the group.shots makes me think there needs to be a little more uniform direction. Like, Sunspot has a different yellow, and Moonstar just doesn't fit as well aesthetically. Magik and Doug look like part of the same team though, which is good. It's hard to make a team that looks good when they are released so far apart. Like in theory, most x-characters with say red on them (like.red.x-belts) should have the same red, but if they're released years apart, the red ends up being different enough that they don't look cohesive

Perhaps one of the dumbest costumes ever. But for some reason, I love it!

You could customize a whole squad of New Mutants pretty easily with this and the older Dani Moonstar figures Too bad they'd all be the exact same height.

I'm sure someone somewhere analyzed something to decide which figures to make. Maybe internet buzz? Special cameras to track viewer eye movements, to see which characters they responded to? There's no way they just throw a bunch of names in a hat and pull ones out to make figures of, right? RIGHT?!?!

I don't know how I feel about this. It sounds cool,.I think. But the Marvel Universe has been I vaded by Godzilla, the Muppets, Jay and Silent Bob, Aliens, the Predator...and now Star Wars?!? Talk about Incursions!
