If you swapped the heads, and repainted Black Panther a little, it would make for a pretty convincing Venom. This Black Panther is BUFF.

I do wonder about oddball teams all the time. The Reavers still aren't finished, nor the MLF. But I was reading some old comics today, and the thought popped into my head, what are the odds of a Savage Land mutates box set? Maybe with yellow-costumed Magneto?

Or blood soaked, naked, Weapon X. Everyone's always underestimating DD. He's a surprisingly good character, under the right writer.

Yikes! He didn't seem that much bigger than a regular figure. I'd love to see some comp pictures with old ToyBiz big figs like Juggernaut or Apocalypse (not the BAF).

I'm honestly kinda surprised Hasbro went as bloody as they did with Muse. I applaud them, but it's still surprising. Perhaps that's why it's an online exclusive? Someone must've been thinking of the children...

Have the Wrecking Crew been released by Hasbro? I remember the old ToyBiz ones, where one of the character was just the variant of another. Back when ToyBiz loved throwing in variant figures (still have my Spidey Classics Yellow DD MIB!)

You know, if Thing wasn't orange, these could pass as a 50's style black and white figure set, like those Eastman and Laird comic version Ninja Turtles. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, they are just very boring being in just two colours.

Wow, Beast is so...smooth. I do not like that look. Even if there were some ridges or waves, something to make him look more blue furred and less blue skinned. Which, by the way, is what I always thought Nightcrawler was. Even though they called him "fuzzy elf." Also, Cypher? CYPHER?!? What cool pose would you put him in? Reading a foreign language book? Translating with an alien ambassador? Typing on a computer? Kinda wished they had put him in a two pack with a new Warlock, and you could somehow merge them together like they did from time to time in the old New Mutants comics. Before Doug died.

If I was a kid, I'd love those! Blast effects? With storage? Aces. That Beast though...he doesn't look like Kelsey Grammer to me...

Oh no These look great! Just before Christmas, I got the Transformers UNO Flip game (played it once, don't wanna ruin the cards!) with sweet Dreamwave art, and now this comes out? A.lot of the art is the same as my old X-Men playing cards (which I barely use because I don't wanna ruin the cards), but dare I buy another card game just 'cause?

FYI, in Canada EB DOES list the Target exclusives. Which makes sense, as they are now partners with Pulse

So, non-Marvel thoughts: Can't believe Starscream of all bots is a retailer exclusive. That's just silly Hasbro. I wanna see pics of guy-with-Scarlett wearing that tiger mask. Marvel thoughts: I have the old BAF Onslaught, and I'd like this one, but only if he were more textured and would really look like a precursor to the BAF. I find Hasbro doesn't always keep aesthetics the same through their own lines, so I guess it's pretty unrealistic of me to hope they would match up with old ToyBiz figures. Also, any idea where to get these in Canada? EB perhaps?

Sorry, can someone explain the Shadow Buddy to me? I haven't had a chance to watch X-Men '97 yet, and don't remember that from actual 1997...

I just wish he had a better "costume " I've always felt Doc Samson is not fully street clothes, but not fully costume. Make up your mind, man!
