  1. No Nova, or Legends period, at the three Cincinnati area stores I can check weekly. Being a Cosmic fan is suffering.
  2. You're not alone. It looks like they just didn't bother painting the emblem and it's really throwing off the whole look to me
  3. They can absolutely make all four again, but considering how little Frankenstein's Monster and Simon Garth show up the past couple decades, they seem unlikely ever again. I think we'd see Manphibian and The Living Mummy replace them today. Werewolf By Night I fully expect to see one day- we have the parts for a classic update and the new one is big enough that he could be a BAF in a Blade or Moon Knight centric wave. I imagine the next time we see Dracula, he looks like this;
  4. Fucking ebay exclusives; I can't wait to either never find it, or have my pre-order arbitrarily canceled.
  5. At best I imagine fan channel will see a restock on movie Venom around October-November but with the movie changing release dates more often than Marc Spector changes identity and them already having budgeted out a Venom 2 wave last year, I don't see anything new hitting anytime soon. Hopefully a third Venom wave is on the books for next year. Get us the rest of the Life Foundation, Sin-Eater and some more Cates stuff. I guess a movie Carnage for the people who think that design doesn't look like #$##.
  6. Hell yes, Gyrich would be an immediate double purchase from me.
  7. Had a big weekend for Legends; First decided to treat myself for my birthday and finally pulled the trigger on that Toybiz era Monsters box set. I see us getting a red armor Modern Drax some day and an updated Jack Russel feels likely too with Jackal and Puma parts, but Frank and Garth seem like characters that won't ever be touched again. Then I found Odin and some Guardsmen. Odin is pretty underwhelming; I figured he'd be too small to give the comic head to, so I'm still going with no real proper Odin on the shelf yet. His faces look better than the promo pictures at least. Guardsman is rad. Probably going to buy one more, plus my BBTS wave pre-order and will be satisfied with that. Finally, my Web-Man arrived, and I absolutely love this dude in hand. Such a weird little character. Exactly what I collect Legends for.
  8. Bonebreaker makes sense; he's the only stand out legless character I can think of and his weird design is probably too much for a normal release. Granted, he could also be a deluxe or even a Riders figure if we ever get more of those again, but he's obscure enough they may not want to sell him on his own at a higher price point like that. BAF seems like a safe choice.
  9. Hit-Monkey is one of those characters I've loved because of his absurdity and will read any book with him in it, but I don't see myself bothering with this show. It's nice that it sounds like there aren't major liberties being taken with him based on that small blurb though.
  10. I really can't imagine the Hellcharger at retail. If a bike goes for $40 now, an in-scale muscle car is probably in the $150ish range and take a lot of retail space, and I just don't think Robbie carries the cache to move enough units to justify that cost at general market. Robbie on his own? Easy sell, just like Blaze in the Rhino wave a few years back. But the car is enough plastic, unique tooling and fire effect parts to make work that I don't see it.
  11. Classic Lizard being Walmart exclusive is heartbreaking; of all the retailers, they're by far the worst at stocking anything. May as well be an ebay exclusive.
  12. So the OG Wave 1 is a lock after all. Well, I hope they're doing something especially interesting for Tony, I can't see how they could improve the 80th mold for that armor. Maybe they'll just use the slot to give us a new armor like the 1st Appearance or Golden Avenger we haven't had since Toybiz.
  13. Man, I hope. Corsair would get the ball rolling on the Starjammers, and I'd be all over a Starjammers themed X-Men wave.
  14. This is my personal hope as well. Blackheart (Unless we can swing that rumored Ghost Rider wave) and Howard the Duck are the top of my list for Toybiz updates. Werewolf By Night, Man-Spider, Mecha Hulk, and some Young Avenger updates would be greatly appreciated as well.
  15. Toad seems like a lock to me. With 12 slots, I doubt they're just doing the old wave 1 line-up and then some though; we've gotten fantastic recent updates on Iron Man and Hulk, and the Iron Man mold just got two more releases recently. Outside of Toad, I have no idea who we'll see. Hope Cap is the 80th mold as a non- exclusive in classic bright colors.
  16. Maggot is a character I only know by name, but it's always cool when a character who's never been made before gets a figure, so I'm down. 4 out of 7 is a good ratio of new characters. Now we just have to hope the BAF is good.
  17. The DnA Cosmic fanboy that I am is incredibly excited for a Vulcan. Hopefully it's his War of Kings look.
  18. These figures somehow look leagues better than the actual costumes in the film, and especially compared to the Legends versions. Can't imagine spending Figuarts money on them with how apathetic the movie is leaving me feeling so far, but I can at least respect how nice these look.
  19. The Retro cardbacks do nothing for me, but Spidey is my favorite Marvel franchise so as far as I'm concerned it's just a great excuse to get more waves dedicated to Spider-Man, but free of the influence of movie stuff I don't want. I wish they were BAF waves. One of my favorite things is seeing civilian figures. I've said for years that Aunt May, Mary Jane, Jarvis, etc are just as important as our traditional hero figures are. Seeing Jameson, Gwen and Peter gives me hope that we'll see more of that. Aside from that, any excuse for mid tier jobber villains the better, because Spidey has the best Rogues Gallery in the business.
  20. I haven't gotten Surtur in-person to see how they handled him up close yet, but that seems like our best bet. Of course we all know how frequently Hasbro and "skillful paint apps" go hand-in-hand lol
  21. I'd absolutely be down for more Iron Man villains, his Rogues Gallery is underrated. This year's Iron Man wave is one of my favorites of the year, so I'm hopeful it'll sell welland they keep coming back to that well. Titanium Man looks fabulous, can't wait for mine to come in. He's big enough that I wouldn't mind Hasbro putting one of their own on the back-burner.
  22. Sabretooth does nothing for me. As far as I'm concerned the Apocalypse one looks perfect as is, and AoA is just coming out. Would've preferred someone we don't have a dozen of already.
  23. A classic Molten Man feels well overdue and would be an easy one, yeah. I'd be all over that. Ideally I'd also want Swarm, but I genuinely don't know how you sculpt a person made out of bees.
