  1. The Retro cardbacks do nothing for me, but Spidey is my favorite Marvel franchise so as far as I'm concerned it's just a great excuse to get more waves dedicated to Spider-Man, but free of the influence of movie stuff I don't want. I wish they were BAF waves. One of my favorite things is seeing civilian figures. I've said for years that Aunt May, Mary Jane, Jarvis, etc are just as important as our traditional hero figures are. Seeing Jameson, Gwen and Peter gives me hope that we'll see more of that. Aside from that, any excuse for mid tier jobber villains the better, because Spidey has the best Rogues Gallery in the business.
  2. I haven't gotten Surtur in-person to see how they handled him up close yet, but that seems like our best bet. Of course we all know how frequently Hasbro and "skillful paint apps" go hand-in-hand lol
  3. I'd absolutely be down for more Iron Man villains, his Rogues Gallery is underrated. This year's Iron Man wave is one of my favorites of the year, so I'm hopeful it'll sell welland they keep coming back to that well. Titanium Man looks fabulous, can't wait for mine to come in. He's big enough that I wouldn't mind Hasbro putting one of their own on the back-burner.
  4. Sabretooth does nothing for me. As far as I'm concerned the Apocalypse one looks perfect as is, and AoA is just coming out. Would've preferred someone we don't have a dozen of already.
  5. A classic Molten Man feels well overdue and would be an easy one, yeah. I'd be all over that. Ideally I'd also want Swarm, but I genuinely don't know how you sculpt a person made out of bees.
  6. Lizard needs an update something terrible for sure. Not only is the BAF a really specific niche design, I think it's also a bad figure, between its garbage knees and leg articulation and gappy head and neck. A classic replacement is a must have. Conversely Rhino is nearly perfect- give him a new head sculpt to differentiate the release and he could easily get repacked on a Kingpin sized Retro card. My picks for the rest of a retro Spidey Wave 3 would be Bombastic Bag-Man, Aunt May, Spot (with an alternate head that has Spidey's fist coming out of his face), Doc Ock (White Suit) and Alistair Smythe.
  7. Honestly it's the back issues that make a subscription worth it. With the speed trades and collections go out of print and the limited space and high cost of a lot of notable older floppies, the sub is a great way to deep dive on older runs and stories.
  8. The original Logan story arc was neat, if a clear product of its edgy time; but the more they go back to that well, the less I care. This'll be an easy pass for me just like Old Man Quill.
  9. A Female Agent two pack would be a perfect follow up to this, I'd buy as many as they let me of that one too. Hope they restock the male pack too; I'd love to get another three of those. Between them and the Mandroid, it'll be a pretty sweet SHIELD shelf.
  10. Bought three SHIELD Trooper sets and five Skrull warriors, plus the Excalibur set. Process was so painless compared to the Hellfire Guards I never caught in-stock or the many Star Wars instant sellers; if they keep things this smooth I'll happily keep the premium membership going forward. Not stressed about pre-ordering the Spidey figures since they're normal retail figs and I'll be able to easily get them from BBTS or somewhere else at my leisure.
  11. I'm guessing Feral and Phoenix. More I does seem likely with Strange 2. Im hoping for some combination of Deaths Head, Moondragon, Sleepwalker and Mephisto
  12. Ben seems to, yeah. Armored Spidey looks like a lot of new tooling, I can't make out if there's much or any Retro Spidey in the mix there
  13. The Retro wave is amazing. Hobgoblin losing the scales and not getting a new head looks rough, but the other five are must buys from me. The Retro singles are much lamer IMO. Don't need another Lady Loki but glad those who missed the box set can get her. Retro Loki has better heads but I still don't care for this body for my classic Loki. Falcon is awful; mostly the same costume from a release that just happened and was easy to get, and still no Redwing. Need a proper classic Sam.
  14. I feel like its well past time to retire the Bucky-Cap mold; there's no figure that doesn't benefit from the superior articulation of the Sunfire or Retro Spidey mold instead. Butterfly joints should be standard for the line for the price point they're charging anymore.
  15. Wolverine? In an X-Men wave? I'd never expect it. A little bummed the wave's Wolvie isn't Albert. I can't really think of a Logan costume we don't have yet that I really want. An Astonishing remake would be solid I suppose. Or Aaron's bad future Old Man Phoenix Logan would be cool. I'm sure it'll just be something really plain though.
  16. Maaan if we could get this level of articulation standardized across Legends, we'd be living in a true golden age. Butterfly shoulders, drop down hips and diaphragm joint should be universal across everyone. Pizza Spidey was a great mold in its time, but it's wild how much this new mold dunks on it.
  17. Some more X-Factor love with Havok. Really looks like a dedicated X-Factor wave to me. Not a big Havok guy myself, and am happy enough with the ones we have, but the true classic costume hasn't been touched in so long, I'm glad the folks who wanted it will probably be getting theirs.
  18. Looks great! Might use this as my Dark Avengers Gargan and keep the pizza mold on my Spider-Verse shelf.
  19. He was one of the only X-Men Toybiz figs I had as a kid, I'd be thrilled.
  20. Darwin and Siryn were both part of the excellent X-Factor Investigations run, so maybe the wave is themed around that? Could get a nicely needed M as well if so.
  21. I'm hoping Miles doesn't take over as the MC now that they've established he has his own series. My original assumptions were that he'd be an NPC for the first act against Venom, then Peter would get the black suit and go bad and Miles would be the Raiden who takes over for the rest of the story, until Pete can get free and the Symbiote goes to Brock for a sequel tease. A game co-starring both the whole time instead would be vastly preferred. I trust Insomniac, though.
  22. The next Sorcerer Supreme should be Jennifer Kale, but it won't be. Either way, I'm always jazzed for a fun Supernatural Marvel story
  23. I think Toad is a shoe-in for whatever the 20th Anniversary thing they teased last stream is, instead of the next X-Wave personally
