  1. I'm hoping for Stardust and Red Shift. I just don't see them releasing any other way.
  2. Figure looks pretty much perfect. Going to back one once I get home. Not sure what they could do to upsell me on multiples like they did for the Sentinel but hey, let's see some stretch goals and see how those do for me.
  3. Snapped a quick comparison shot with the MU figure (which itself is a bit bigger than the Old BAF) real quick. He's hella dusty since he was too big to keep anywhere easily dustable for me so I have no idea what I'm doing with this new monster but I'm excited!
  4. I definitely don't like this suit at all. The figure itself looks immaculate of course, but the design is just super unappealing to me.
  5. I can't say I'm ready for it to be over, but I respect the hell out of a story that sticks to its plan, ends when it meant to, and doesn't decide to pad itself out to capitalize on its success. It's been a truly excellent run so far.
  6. I had some of these cards as a kid, and dug them, but never had them all- I assume none of this is new art? I'd love to see them commission him to do new art styled like those old cards for modern characters, but variant art covers so loosely tied to the book inside don't do anything for me
  7. Oh, this is fan-channel exclusive? That's a real shame, I was holding out hope for a strong classic Avengers wave for him.
  8. I might get a Capwolf if it's a common, but I'm not interested in Pops enough to go fighting for an exclusive anymore.
  9. I thought this was a pretty bad movie. The only positive I can think of is Yelena was great, but the movie seemed super disjointed and generic otherwise. It had glimmers of cool choreography for the fights, but they consistently cut things short before they could actually follow through. Like the skydive fight with Taskmaster at the end, or the opening Taskmaster fight, or anything else involving Taskmaster. Speaking of Taskmaster, what they did to him is absolutely abysmal. One of the worst "in name only" hackjobs in a franchise filled to the brim with them.
  10. Firelord probably doesn't need to be a backer bonus and could get a retail release but I'll be bummed if he doesn't end up with more obscure Heralds like Stardust.
  11. I assume the "integration" in the suit is magic based. Looks like he has a spell effect arc reactor of a sorts too. Maybe Strange needs to give him some magic buffs to deal with whatever not-street level thing they're throwing Spidey into this time. I assume the much, much simpler nature of Pops means a vastly faster turn around time. Legends have so many more moving parts and paint apps they probably have to begin production well before them, and thus earlier promo material to work off of.
  12. Not a huge fan of the animated color scheme, but I'm glad to finally see a Venom with butterfly joints. He should've had a trucker cap too.
  13. That Vance was part of the DnA Guardians line-up, which Hasbro had been giving us quite a few of at the time. It always seemed like that was their intent there, not for the classic line-up.
  14. I don't follow the X-Books super closely but I believe they just had Magneto acknowledge her as his daughter again a week or two ago, so this seems pretty likely. Though I imagine her history with the Mutant race is going to make that a pretty tense affair. This is an exciting pitch for a story.
  15. The term piece and general size implies role-playing item to me for sure, though I'd love to be surprised by a box set of some kind.
  16. At least we got the Mafex, which I think is probably as close to definitive as we could ever have. Near flawlessly captures the Gurihiru art and came with plenty of accessories. It's just a little costly.
  17. I'm down for Psycho-Man and High Evolutionary if true. Both have neat designs and have never had 6" figures before as far as I know. I was kinda holding out hope for Firelord, though. While I agree that its kind of a bummer how much of a wave the FF take up by their nature, I do still really want to see Maker Reed and Blackbeard Thing some day in the futute. Hopefully this set does well and we get plenty more waves to follow.
  18. Bummed that its just more shots of figures we've already seen, but I guess the least interesting option is usually the most likely.
  19. Oh right, that would certainly make sense. I usually think of Skrulls as having black gloves and boots, but purple wouldn't be out of character for them.
  20. Not sure the color lines up with anyone we know is coming but isn't revealed yet off the top of my head- maybe one of the two other slots in the retro FF wave? My hope is a Riders series classic Hawkeye with a Skycycle
  21. Nope, I still don't have a Silk after she sold out so quickly. It's why I'm super apathetic to whether they do this again; its not like I'll be able to get the winner anyway.
  22. Maybe the fact that I'm not watching the show colors it, but I'm not feeling the figure. Especially not with the way her arm articulation is being sacrificed for the cape sculpt. I'll end up with her if she's part of that What If wave, I'm sure, but it doesn't move me as is.
  23. I like seeing Blonsky growing some more classic comic ears. They're absolutely just going to rerelease that Gamerverse BAF with a new head soon.
  24. Dormammu is a strong pick for this. Feels similar in set up to the original Annihilation Wave (as an absurdly powerful army from another universe/dimension) while distinct enough in skill sets and style to not feel like a rehash. Excited to see this one play out, I love me some Marvel Cosmic.
