Yup! Exactly why I liked that buck too and the Vulcan upgrade now.

At this point, I’m just waiting for the Mafex series to bust out with an Iceman and Human Torch that will crap all over the ML and MS versions.

Not big on translucency at all but this one doesn’t look too shabby I guess. Maybe bc there has never been a high bar set for Bobby yet. Nice touch with the alternate belts and head sculpts though.

The only teenie weenie gripe I have is that the pouches aren’t on the front of her thighs.

Ya I’m not diggin this DD at all. Maybe/hopefully they’ll make a classic, definitive version of him using the Vulcan body.

Now here it looks like the blue paint came out, imo, better than the promos. Cannot wait to get er! I mean I can wait but.. you know what I mean.

The retro colors, dj elbows and new sash are excellent on this one, though I believe some shading here and there could’ve gone a long way. Still love the 2pk version but would/will definitely scoop this one up at some point. Here’s hoping they update that green suit as well bc the current one is hideous.

Nice. I’m really digging this Dark Phoenix. May get them all but am not crazy about how dark the gold is on Multi Man and also Avalanche’s head sculpt + blue limbs. Also, is it just me or does Spiral’s blue look different than the reveal?

Toybiz Mojo looks like he could use a bath.

Despite the zipper, I’d say the jacket overlay is still the best part of him. It’s really the limbs that bug me most because they just make him look so average. Those legs will work great for guys like the The Collector, Mad Thinker, Heinrich Zemo, Red Ghost and classic Hydra henchmen. But Simon? Maybe if they gave him [other/new] parts under the knee that have less baggy pants and more boot. And maybe the arms from X-Factor Havok with new forearms? Those are bigger jacket arms aren’t they? 🤔

Same. And once Starlin’s name comes up, I always quickly shift to the thought of why tf they haven’t given us his classic Adam Warlock already. 💀

Forgot I had preordered that retro Modular Iron Man, but I got an email last night saying they’ll be shipping him soon. Now trying to decide if I wanna keep it 🤔

Looking at all the classic comic images, his jacket didn’t have a zipper and was still opened up at the bottom, so from that I don’t see why they needed to include a zipper in the first place unless they were just going off that one drawing you can find where he is posing with Beast. If it really bugs me enough, I’m just gonna shave it off and hope it looks good lol. As for the legs, I’m very interested in finding a set to swap out with the Red Skull pants without taking away his height. As for the arms, yea I guess that was their only option if they wanted to add those gold/yellow wrist cuffs. I dunno.. for as much and as long as I’ve wanted safari jacket Wonder Man, I’m just not all that impressed with the results.

Agreed. Johnny in the blue deco + red hellcycle would be a lovey update in 6”.

@Atlantis I think the head looks great but the zipper undone at the bottom just looks dumb imo. They chose that body because they were going through the catalogue of existing parts and that was the closest thing they had available so they went with it. Classic MacGruber.

Dang am really liking this Pretty Boy. Still shocked from the work they’ve put into him. The set is a nice offering but he’s really the only one I would like to get from it.

Meh I cancelled my order on this set some weeks back. Never intended on keeping the other 2 symbiotes but realized I didn’t really care for [this] Venom even though I think it’s the best one so far. Not like this’ll be the last of him so I got no problem waiting to see what they do for the character next. Hey I’m clinging onto the possibility of something Invaders themed by 2025 for the 50th anniversary of issue #1 🤞🏻😑🤞🏻

Not a shabby wave overall but just gonna be Strucker and Wonder Man for me and will keep the other Puff parts on my radar. Maybe Molecule Man too if I find a good head piece to use for a more classic look. Digging the baf for sure but would’ve looked better I think if there was more contrast in the colors or if they painted thin black lines between to make the patterns come out more. They hardly ever add that kind of detail though so it’s no surprise.

Noice! Glad to see how Puff Adder’s paint turned out, it seems. Was worried they’d go too hard on the scheme like they did with King Cobra. Thaaa hell we (I) wouldn’t!! 😄

I’m still a bit annoyed that the thigh straps are so far up. They did the female buck perfectly.

Will never really know I guess but I could’ve seen myself getting sucked in to backing this thing if they had presented classic definitive versions of Mephisto and Hellstrom (which I’m glad they didn’t but). If this was really the only time they’d make those characters, they chose the wrong looks imo.
