  1. I grabbed the two-packs last week at a local Wal-Mart in Altoona, PA. They also had the 2016 Wave 1 figures as well.
  2. A couple days ago I received a glorious shipment of customs from Pilkster to add to the ranks of my MU display... And here are the heads placed on their appropriate bodies. I did the Hellcat (except for the head and the hands/belt) myself, and I still need to paint JJJ's suit a different color. But the Beast is obviously the same with the repainted head added...
  3. I made a Hellcat as well. I used the Jean Grey body from the X-Men First Class two-pack, clawed hands and a belt from Vort, and a custom head from Pilkster (of Toyark). I think it came out pretty nicely, if I do say so myself.
  4. My set is "warehouse" so I'll likely have them by sometime mid-next week then. Although I didn't get the alert from BBTS about them coming in soon. Those notifications are hit-and-miss for me.
  5. I'd love to find one of those locally. Yesterday is the first I've ever even heard of it, let alone seen it in person anywhere. :-(
  6. That Darkstar is gorgeous. I made one as well, but yellow paint is the bane of my existence and it didn't come out looking anywhere near as clean and nice as this. Well damn done, sir.
  7. Outstanding She-Hulk. I really, REALLY wish that was one of the figures we'd have gotten by now. I loved her tenure on the team.
  8. Thanks! There are so many of him on the pegs I thought I'd try to come up with a good use for one.
  9. A couple easy customs... Jack Flag (Guardians costume) Kl'rt, the Super-Skrull:
  10. I think what surprises me is that typically by the time loose figures show up on eBay, we've had them pre-ordered for a few weeks at least. The lateness of their appearance surprises me. I can survive without the others but Northstar is an absolute must.
  11. I haven't even seen the wave solicited for pre-order let alone packaged. I'm actually kind of concerned.
  12. Received my SDCC 2012 Tiger Shark and Walgreen's Black Ant figures today. They promptly went on my MU bad guy shelf to hang with the Masters.
  13. I have a feeling it's going to be TRU, but I'd rather it be Target. I have easier access to Target than TRU. Ideally, it'd be a shared exclusive with someplace like BBTS so I can just order them online and be done with it.
  14. My set of six from 2015 Wave 2 arrived today. As expected, they fine, nothing significant. New body molds and such. Vulture's wings are terrible and I really wish Doc Ock had been made on the original MU body mold; the short stocky one we didn't like at first. Ironically, it would have fit Otto perfectly.
  15. Agreed. I have that set from Vortious/RodimusVTS and it is indeed great. The only advantage this head has over that is it'll be painted much better since I'm not nealry as good.
  16. I would have bit on the Thunderstrike but he doesn't appear to have the mace.
  17. Beast sold out likely because he's been an in-demand character for some time. Bishop and Black Cat are short packed I believe. Of course. Short pack the damn Spider-man for a change. Surprise everyone for once, Hasbro.
  18. With thanks to LordMarvel for the idea, and especially RodimusVTS for the head, my own Odin Allfather is now complete and can join the ranks of my MU collection... And also, great thanks to RodimusVTS for the Thunderstrike kit...
  19. I don't think it's comic accurate but it sure as heck looks nice. And like you said, captures the essence of Odin perfectly. I was planning on repainting as extra Thor figure for Odin's body but I may just go see if I can snag an extra Death's Head and follow this formula instead.
  20. Score. Thanks for the heads-up! With the discount applied my total for both figures shipped only came out to $16.94. Outstanding.
  21. So, a question: Does anybody have any good suggestions on what to use to add the antennae to Ant-Man's helmet?
  22. Outstanding. And I think it should show the Hasbro people how simple it would be to do a figure for her, either in her latest incarnation as you've shown here or her more classic "Captain Marvel" outfit. GREAT job on her symbol! The linework you did there is fantastic.
