  1. I didn't find anything either GC but these figs just came out a month ago.....it's gonna take some time to round up these figs but patience will pay off....unless we need instant gratification Evilbay or Amazon is there to charge us their markup....I'll wait & call around first, it sux to try to find these over the phone but it does save on gas & time.....I talk to customer service & get the scoop, it they can hold it cool if not then fate will have its way...I'll find em sooner or later...the movie isn't out yet so there's time....

True I sometimes call but it's been hit or miss for me and my bro law tells me that the stock number isn't always right. I think I'll keep checking ebay until I find a sale that is close to my area that way I know it must be in one of my stores. Can't go hunting more than once a week ,also I think I over did it today. I'm just gonna stick to places near by on my way to and from work. They are taking forever to restock. I did see one target had 4 pegs for each.

  2.

What's up ProfessorHov, I haven't had luck yet. None in the IE have them so far. I will go tomorrow to my local Target and check again. They

usually restock on Wednesdays and Sundays.

Which ones you going to . I will be trying to go to the Arlington, tyler, norco, eastvale, fontana, and redlands. You are probably looking for Toxin and spidergirl. Me to. I could try to pm u with news of any wave 2 at those locations with time. If I see any extras of Toxin and Spider girl I can give u a heads up.

Went to Montclair, Pomona, Upland and Covina with no luck at any of those.

so 4 hours and half a tank later and nothing. eBay is looking better and better Lol

  4. Wow I've never seen so many pegs full. Just need spider girl, Toxin, 2 aim guys, black widow and winter solider. Might get movie cap.

I refuse to get these on ebay unless it was priced reasonably. I wish all of us wouldn't buy these on ebay and have the scalpers choke or lower prices. I don't know how they make a decent profit. Gas cost, time, ebay chargeing u . I mean even if you sell spider girl at 60$ you minus about 21.50 (taxes varying) 15$ about of gas or more if you drive every day , ebay charge of 3$ and paypal taking another 3. What is that a 5$ profit???. If it was even 10 or 15 dollars profit it doesn't seem worth the trouble.

I knew one scalper that was on disability from the post office but even with government aid the profits seem like chump change. Unless you sell for like 120$.

  5.

Well we can always hope for Captain America Infinity revision waves like they did with the first couple waves (Terrax/Zola). Maybe mix in some more movie figs with troop builders.

We know that Hasbro understands the concept of troop building. Looking at their Star Wars and GI Joe franchises, they know that there is money in people wanting more than one figure. Yet, for some reason, they struggle getting more troop builders out there for Marvel Legends.

They used to do well with MU. I have several AIM troops and Skrull soldiers. I have about 10 Hand ninjas. I was able to scoop up a couple of Soldiers and Henchmen 3-packs at a decent price.

Now they just make it impossible. Even with their Star Wars Black 6". What makes more sense, two Stormtroopers, or one Stormtrooper and a Han Solo (that most people already have?)

I think hasbro treats Marvel Legends like the "red headed step kid" Every comic con I've been to the hasbro panel has all these great plans but by next year they end up explaining what went wrong on canceled figs and distribution, then they promise positive changes and then the cycle repeats. I've talked to Jesse Falcon once when he was doing the great comic legends toy line and he made it seem to me that Hasbro ( higher ups) do not really have ML as any priority.
  6. Love these especially Hulk. All except Hulk use hasbro's new diluted plastic formula, this is more obvious in the limbs. Hulk uses a heavier thicker plastic, like the old Marvel Legends, this could explain why Hulk is 1 per case, possible fears of over production and Hulk becoming a peg warmer (which never happens , even the Marvel Universe Hulks sell quick). The new plastic is that bad just know that the figs might not survive being left in the California son for a few hours lol. Hulk is so good of a fig that they could of done 3 per case and it would still fly off the shelves. got lucky and got him as they were reseting, minutes later another dude came up and snatched up singles of the rest.

  8. So, been to 15 walmarts and only one had Thor, IM, and cap, the others did not even have them in their systems, and I found out that hulk is one per case, WTF!!!!!!!!!, does anyone know, they just starting to be realesed or are we close to the end????, I really hate the hunt thats why I get most of stuff thu subscriptions or a good deals on ,amazon I wish I could just order thease at a normal price and have to deal with stupid employees gas prices and loss of time just to find nothing in the end

  9. First of all, sorry to the mods. I know this should probably be posted in another thread, such as the TRU one or Sightings and Hauls, but I wanted to make sure everyone had a chance to read this to know the truth about how Hasbro is giving us all the finger.

As you may know from my posts, I'm currently desperately hunting Wave 2 figures, especially Spider-Man and Madame Masque, as many of us are.

I thought I had finally struck gold today when I went to TRU (at this point, I don't even care about the price hike. I just want my figures.) They had three Captain Americas and a Fantomex, so I asked the guy in the department if they had more in back. He said he was pretty sure they did. Awesome, right? The wait is finally over!

He went into the warehouse and came back with a brand new case, straight from Hasbro. He handed it to me and said, "Take what you need."

I opened the box and felt sick. Inside were four Captain Americas, two Drax, one Fantomex, and one unmasked Daken. No Thunderball/Piledriver, no Madames, and no Spideys.

I'm ticked beyond belief. This is absolutely ridiculous that this was put together, and it doesn't benefit anyone.

First, retailers are getting the shaft because they're going to get stuck with figures they can't sell because collectors don't want them because they already have them. Kids don't want them because they don't know who these characters are, and honestly, if I were aparent, I wouldn't be too keen on dropping $20 on a figure unless it were some special occasion.

There is no feasible reason I can think of to distribute product like this. Does Hasbro even know their customers? Do they know what they're doing to those of us who really want to collect and buy their figures for a reasonable price? It's like they're playing with us, dangling a string to see how we'll chase after it. I don't get it. At all. And I'm *this close* to just calling it quits.

They have learned to ignore fans and just do want they think is best. I think they look at matty and see that matty has all these ways to hear fan feedback and they do Q&As and they even has their marketing director Scott Nitlec running around as their whipping boy for every problem that matty has , this guy takes the hit (i hope he gets paid good for taking the blame from every thing from delivery charges to store prices risings ) It's funny the more matty tries to be more fan friendly the more they get crapped on by the fans.

Matty offers, subs lots of popular merchandising online and last year comic con exclusives that did not screw out the fans. what did Hasbro have???? Hasbro had a wave 2 case of marvel legends that sold out quick and had only a couple of restocks, lol.

But I think that Hasbro after their first run at ML and how much negative feedback they got, said" "F it", we will cancel ML and sell 3 2 packs a year and if you don't like it ..FU" lol ,

I remember how 2 years ago at comic con they had a couple of guys who designed and sculpted MLs outside their display cases hanging around, "I remember fans constantly hounding them, and 'saying things like "oh I have a bone to pick with you", or "man i got some complaints to tell you".....after the second day, the Hasbro guys were no where to be found lol.

I can't blame them I wouldn't want some nerds bitching to me all day when they don't wants up, lol Hasbro is like "hey fanboys you buy or get out, we make enough money from kids that we don't need the headache from you"

  10. Nice pic! That tiny Steve Rogers head from the WWII cap looks sooooo bad though. I don't understand why people don't like the awesome head sculpt on the Steve Rogers figure.

Just got home to find a package from TRU on my porch. Inside was Bucky Cap, Drax, and Piledriver! Still waiting on Daken and Fantomex.

    UPDATED:

I've been looking forward to doing this Cap and Bucky evolution set up for a while now. Glad I was finally able to complete it today.

I also prefer the head it came with

  11. I think it's perfect for Blade. He doesn't need changing.

I agree, he looks great regard less of reusing old parts.

Look here are the facts all toy companies reuse parts it's just makes sense if they did not they would have to charge a lot more and or go out of business. Also the new marvel legends feel like they use a diluted plastic, they are lighter and they have clunkier joints when compared to the old MLs, but they look great and so far have not broke from posing.

We probably will never get back to the time when MLs were big, solid hard plastic, smooth joints, large scale , and multiple accessories. One improvement that has gone up instead of down is the paint quality, and face sculpts. Good example is the old toy biz black widow was made of a strong hard plastic but the sculpt and paint was crap, the new hasbro two pack is perfect with the only down side is being the plastic and less joints.
