  1. In general does ToyGlobe ship out things in a decent amount of time? I haven't ever done a Pre-Order with them before. Would have gone with BBTS but at the time they were out on the preorder for the Red Hulk BAF set.

I ordered from them when I first started to collect. They took forever, then I tried to cancel and I thought I did but a few months later I received my 2 Spawn Redeemer toys. The reason it took so long I think was because they are in Canada and I did not know until I checked. I only order from home preferably anyone that is close enough to the west coast.

  2. The only number on my receipt is this one 087061986

if you open those, can you post some pics?

Sure as soon as I get all of them to build the red Hulk. I'm usually a moc but I really want to make that Hulk :hulk:

what target do you get theese!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At the Fontana Target off the 10 it's one of those big Targets but not super ones. They had them in the back. Were do live around?

  3. ha i didnt realize you live in riverslime, gruntcast! where was your interview if you dont mind?

i'll be at the TRU off hot springs tomorrow morning looking for ML's and joes. maybe we can meet up and grab some joe while we look for joes hahaha

as for pics... yeah been kinda busy feeding/changing twins the last couple days. i should have some spare time tomorrow since the inlaws will be off work and they can watch the kids long enough for me to goof off a little. = )

(even though i'm tired, passing out watching my new gi joe DVD's... i just might go ahead and snap a couple pics of cap for you all.)

    as promised:

flag is from GI Joe jetpack duke

I'm a ultrasound tech and I was interviewing at Rancho springs hospital. I was at the TRU off hot springs today around 9:55AM and they did have 2 new TRU Joe exclusives. one was All Crimson guards pack and the other was Firefly vs. 4 or 5 joe troops. They were putting out lots off stuff. But I might have said too much , there's a scalper that always hits that place hard, I'm sure you've ran into the man in black  I think he might surf this site to try to find out where the new stuff is. I also check hemet walmarts from time to time. If you find a Cap America IM again please PM me with the location. Good one looking for joes while drinking some joe  I'm going to Santa anna tomorrow but I'm bound to run into you eventually. I'll just start asking everyone if their name is ShipwreckJr

  4. yep its based off the What if: civil war cover.

    and i got him!

also at walmart in riverside area (murrieta). he was the only cap there, are they one per case? they had like 3 white satellite armors (white is a variant?) and 3 of the torpedo armor. i just got cap since the others are a little too... i dunno... un-necessary?

    had to have cap though.

he looks great except the silver paint on his biceps is a little thin and you cna see the red underneath.

i can fix that no problem though. thinking about adding the battle damage to his shield so its accurate to the cover.

and if i was good enough at customs, i'd take a prototype iron man and replace tony's face with unmasked steve rodgers, paint to match and pop it on the captain armor!

Thanks bud, You left me the Blue stealth one  I was there this mourning, in the area for a job interview.

  5. To let people know The DDD set is a variant of the Nick Fury set. Oh and im back by the way from the SDCC and i have to say that hasbro has thrown the ball and got a strike with what i saw. that all im saying.

I was there on Friday and I totally agree with you, I think that if more people went to comic con last week and saw their stuff first hand we might have less negative opinions, but then again some people are never happy

  6. If it's true that they sold out, these things are going to be ungodly expensive on Ebay.

Is there anyone that was at SDCC that actually saw the giftset? I'm wondering how it looks. Must be huge.

It's pretty big, I was lunging it around all day. 12lbs got to feel like 50lbs by the end of the day. they are best figs so far, the paint, sculpt, and weight is perfect. The size look and feel of Planet Hulk is pretty nice. Can't wait to open and build Fin Fang Foom. ( I'm usually a MOC collector)

  7. Well, the only things that look good are the 12 inch cap and possibly the rino. The logan looks terrible ,the lizard is the ultimate version wich looks terrible and nobody wants.Just look at the ultimate lizard in the classics line,it still warms the pegs to this day.The ultimate ironman is just as bad as the lizzard.

As for the transformer stuff wich hasbro copied, thats the stupidest thing i've ever seen in my life.

The rino looks not bad, hopefully the final product would have been nicer.Usually with the rino you can tell its a costume he's wearing but that drawing is really creepe, looks like a half man half rino mutation out of a horror movie.

So i guess we really didn't end up missing much.

I think I must agree.

  8. buddy I wish you good luck. I used to live near Beverly and Normandie and the only place that would have some MLs was the things from another planet out in the Universal City walk. There are collectors and scalpers galore in LA and there is not really a lot of TRUs, Targets and wal-marts in the area. Also on the Santa Monica promenade there is a toy store there on the main strip that usually has all kinds of stuff old and new, but thats the only 2 I can think of that might have something more than a Quicksilver warming the peg.

  9. Funny I'm a huge Hulk fan and I really like the new head on the the repaint ML 1 Hulk. But thats just what I like, some people don't and thats their opinion. Some people hate hasbro some people love hasbro, some people are ok with hasbro and buy every other toy, and some people say they hate hasbro but buy their toys and continue to post here about hasbro. Everyone can have their opinion no one is wrong. :D
