  1. Disappointed that the face looks different from the promo pics. Idk if it's just factory paint instead of hand painted, but it's a let down. I was hoping to give it a try on the upcoming Mezco Sue.
  2. I preordered the set the first day, but I really assumed they'd include the unmasked heads by the time they were released. Cancelled my PO today. Might still grab one eventually, but $30+ per figure with extremely limited accessories is a kick in the dick.
  3. I need to see more of their announced toys get released before I can get too deep. If the 3" scale MASK-like Camaro is close to $180, and this is for 6" scale?
  4. Can you clarify the pre-order date? It says tomorrow, but also 8/29(today). Can't wait to get this one!
  5. Looks great for those that may have missed out on the ToyBox one. I was lucky to grab it on sale and it scales pretty well with Legends, though I did cut out the firewall where their feet go to make a better fit.
  6. Hey gang, I saw this on one random eBay seller's page, but can't find any info about it. Anybody know where, when and/or how much?
  7. Read it again, nard. PayPal doesn't offer seller protection without a tracking #. No tracking availability means no shipping there. I've already taken that chance and tried to trust Canadian buyers on eBay, but there's no point. Almost always they claim they never got it, and PayPal refunds them, even if I have a customs form and certificate of mailing stamped and dated by the PostMaster. That's why you pay for tracking #s.
  8. You must be in Quebec. Quick English lesson: if referring to direction or location, the word is "to", not "too or two". I have never loosed anything, except maybe a dog off a leash. The word is "lose", and it's something you should be used to by now, as it's often used in reference to people like you who are too slow to understand reasoning, but then the word is "loser". And finally, there are three different words that are homonyms: They're, Their, and There. They are not interchangeable. Something sadly the world outside the US(you) can't seem to master. It's a problem I see "a lot"- two separate words. There is a reasonable explanation and it is YOUR lame ass country's fault. YOUR postal service doesn't provide tracking for packages originating in the United States unless it's sent via a registered service for which the cost starts at $50. PayPal doesn't provide seller protection unless there is valid tracking information showing the package being delivered to the buyer. And since so many of your countrymen are liars, thieves and idiots who have extorted money from myself and too many other American sellers, we have no choice but to refuse to sell to you. The sense of self-entitlement that must be issued by a Mountie to every Canuck at birth is disgusting. Because your country's retail market sucks doesn't mean every American owes you to ship our stuff to your backwater country. Other countries who have similar postal systems to yours: Brazil, Mexico, Italy, Argentina and most all other South American countries. Third world countries like Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, parts of China and even North Korea offer postal systems with reliable tracking services. But not you up there, all cozy as America's fur hat. So, next time you want to DEMAND that someone risk their collectible, their time, their money and their eBay reputation because you feel it's owed to you, go sit at your local post office(maybe it'll be "manned" by a Grizzly bear, that would be funny!) and wait for an intelligent enough person to come by and ask them why they refuse to offer tracking services. :hulk:
  9. Hey Shippy, Thanks for the kind words. Unfortunately, I really HAVE to try to sell these all at once, otherwise I'll be looking at the remnants for the next ten years regretting selling the others, lol. It's sort of an all or nothing plan. Again, thanks for looking though, and I hope you find what you're looking for!
  10. Hey Gang, **7-15-10**I know this isn't the best place to post this, but my situation is somewhat desperate so I hope you'll forgive me. I'm coming up on one full year of being unemployed and I'm being forced to sell the parts of my collection that I never thought I would. As of tonight, I have over 70 ML auctions up right now. More will probably be coming soon. Also, DC Direct will be coming soon, as I sort them and get them ready. Scotty97's Current Auctions http://shop.ebay.com/thetoydude00/m.html?_...p;_trksid=p4340
  11. I keep checking my e-mail, cuz I've got some friends set up out there for their new comic, and the promised to send me tons of pics. Hopefully, they won't get so caught up that they forget.
  12. Good eye. That is one the list that has been revealed over at www.actionfigureinsider.com. The site is up and down, tho, due to the traffic.
  13. Haven't found any real pics of product yet, other than the pics at superherohype.com that have already been discussed. Those are mostly general display pics. Hopefully more cool pics will be up by morning(eastern time).
  14. Some decent pics, but Jesus that website sucks. I'm sure its overload like you said, but I feel like I'm on dial-up circa '97 again. OT: 'Hey' are you nine? jumping all over everyone's sh!t cuz you can't find something. I saw the topic title and had the pics within 30 seconds. Are you lazy or just plain ignorant. Man, grow up.
  15. Lame ass custom, and coming from 2D, that's kinda surprising. OT: ToBeLoved - who is that in your sig? Cuthbert? Watts?
  16. Thanks guys! My father has always built and painted model airplanes in extreme detail, so I tried to learn from him over the last 25 years. I appreciate the feedback. I'm trying to figure out who to work on next!
  17. So, I've never attempted to paint an action figure before, but with the release of the Hasbro ML's, I've felt it necessary to learn. My actual first attempt was a Planet Hulk, but I've lost the pics. This Battle Armor Thor was just too plain for my taste. I didn't like the bright garish colors that detracted from the severity of the character. I hated the yellow boots, the orange-gold used on the belt, around the neck and the patches on his thighs. I painted the boots in several layers of color, and colored the gold in a more 14k gold color. The chainmail was drywashed with black and then rubbed over with silver to add the metallic look as opposed to the flat blue plastic color. I also drywashed the hair with brown, the axe with black, silver and "monster blood burgandy". The chains and armor pieces were detailed with black. I set out to "dirty" him up a bit and also make him look a bit more realistic. Tell me what you think, critiques are welcome. Thanks for looking. BEFORE AFTER
