  3. I dont think most of the 12" figures sold that well so like with the 3.75" line I doubt it will return any time soon in any real way. Whats funny is the thread started off wanting to see more 12" figures but what most of you really want is just larger characters done for the 6" line. Its not really the same thing đŸ˜‰
  4. I think the point being if you don't follow or watch the Disney+ shows, will it make it hard to follow whats going on in the movies because you missed key things from the TV shows. Because the things in Agents of Shield never actually had any impact on the movies, if you never watched an episode of Shield it would have no effect on your enjoying or following the stories in the movies. With that more concrete link as you say, which I agree there will be, it may be much harder to follow the movies if you haven't seen the Disney+ stuff.
  5. Its available online for anyone who wants it https://www.shopdisney.com/spider-man-far-from-home-collector-edition-action-figure-marvel-select-by-diamond-461014837998.html#!
  6. Last Week we told you how the new WandaVision and Loki shows that will soon be airing on the Disney+ streaming service will tie-in directly with the upcoming MCU Doctor Strange: In The Multiverse Of Madness movie. Well now it seems they aren't the only characters that will make the jump from small screen to the big one. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige via THR has now confirmed that Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk and Moon Knight who are each getting their own shows on Disney+ will also be making their way to the big screen at some point. If you haven't gotten it by now, Disney is taking steps to strongly motivate fans of the MCU to sign up for the new streaming service which goes live tomorrow. We are seeing for the first time Marvel shows airing on the small screen will now be providing intricate pieces to the overall MCU puzzle. This is a strategy that has worked very well for them with the films motivating fans to see not just the movies with the major Marvel hitters but to also go see those that feature the lesser-known ones. It remains to be seen if that same strategy will work with the streaming service or if it will back fire and just end up causing confusion and less interest for those who are only willing to go to the theaters to see these stories play out.
  7. We first told you about this figure last week, but now the folks at Diamond Select Toys has released official images and information for their new Marvel Select 7" Upgrade Suit Spider-Man figure from the Spider-Man: Far From Home movie. The figure will feature 16 points of articulation, four interchangeable pairs of hands and a British flag and flagpole. It comes packaged in the display-ready Select action figure packaging, with side-panel artwork for shelf reference. This figure will be available for purchase on November 11 (today) in North America and is being released as a Disney Store exclusive where it will be available in store and on their website. As of this posting we didn't see it available online but should be up there soon. The figure has already started seeing release in the UK.
  8. I dont know if you've noticed but those vague release dates generally never pan out. Most times the stuff that get revealed during this time end up start seeing release by end of year or first thing in January at latest. Now maybe not full on release but some places always get them sooner than the release dates Hasbro gives. I expect all that stuff, FF, X-Force, AoA and SM Demogoblin waves to all start hitting pretty close to one another starting by end of year and maybe into very early next, and be out before Toy Fair in Feb.
  9. I like the red lighting, it really ads to the optic blast effect.
  10. Looks more like a tube than slinky. Great effect either way though.
  11. The biggest danger for this series I see for this is that he doesn't just become a carbon copy version of Batman, which I think is how many see him.
  12. LOL. You mean if your only exposure to the character is her solo books??? She-Hulk has never really been a major player in the MU period, and she is one of those characters that does tend to get revamped depending on who is writing her and the need of the character at the time, but the Byrne run is probably her most notable run in the comics and when she become the most popular, so it makes perfect sense that is the version they would go with in the series and that it is the version many people are familiar with. She very much is a comedy character (sometimes) so saying it like she was portrayed that way one brief time sounds like your the one trying to omit her history to make your usual anti-mcu point or maybe you just haven't read as many comics as you like to think???
  13. Its not a UK exclusive, its a Disney Store exclusive. It will be released eventually here in the US at Disney Stores. It only has the UK flag because he went to the UK in the movie. Every single Disney store exclusive is generally made readily available on their websites so I dont see this being hard to get for those who want it when it eventually sees full release even if you don't have a physical store nearby.
  14. I'm not saying they didn't but I dont remember them really hinting to more than one wave of AoA and honestly think it would be a mistake if they did do more. I just don't see enough demand for it out there regardless of the Anniversary. If they do more AoA characters beyond this wave my guess it wouldn't be a full waves worth. I cold maybe see them sticking a few here or there in other X-Men waves or maybe something as a store exclusive. As for the X-Force wave with Strong Guy, thats gonna be out this year by years end I believe, so I wouldn't really count that as next year.

  16. LOL. Harley quinn didnt really become a sex symbol until the Suicide Squad movie... well maybe the Arkham games helped it along but she started out wearing a full on jesters costume and had an annoying squeeky voice ala BTAS where she first appeared. As for She-Hulk the thing about her is in her own comics again in large part thanks to the Byrne run in the 90's she has that comedic/4th wall mentality similar to Deadpool, but only in her own comics. Whenever she appears in other books like Avengers, Fantastic Four or Hulk she becomes a much more serious straight edge type character. Deadpool is pretty much the same whether hes in his own title or someone else, at least now days. When he first appeared in New Mutants/X-Force he was a bit more serious character.

  18. Sounds like they may be going with a bit of a tongue and cheek angle for this series which is not unprecedented for She-Hulk. John Byrne's run of She-Hulk in the 90's was very much that way and probably the character's most successful solo comic book series run to date.
