  1. Shown below are images of Hasbro's Marvel Legends HasLab Engine of Vengeance which is on display this weekend at he NYCC Marvel Booth. The campaign needs a minimum 9k Backers by the end of October in order to be funded. For the 6" Marvel Legends Goblin Queen to be included it needs 10k Backers. For the 7" Marvel Legends Mephisto figure to be included it needs 12k Backers. As I type this the campaign currently has 5,304 Backers. Thanks to Russell for getting these images to us.
  2. The Walmart Exclusive Marvel Legends 6" Classic Star-Lord figure from Hasbro is available for pre-order now.
  3. Hasbro's Ryan Ting has slipped up some looks at their Marvel Legends HasLab Engine of Vengeance from NYCC which officially kicks off later today. The set will be on display throughout the weekend at the Marvel booth. We should have some better quality images to share with you later today once the convention doors open. So far the campaign continues to struggle and loose backers. As I type this the campaign is now down to 5,310 Backers. Back on September 23 the campaign had reached a high of 6,118 Backers. If it does not reach a minimum of 9k Backers by the end of October 31st then this product will not move into production. The campaign needs 10k Backers for the 6" Marvel Legends Goblin Queen figure to be included and 12k Backers for the 7" Marvel Legends Mephisto to be included. While Hasbro themselves aren't expected to have a huge presence at this years NYCC, they are likely hoping to boost interest in this campaign by letting folks who attend the convention to see it in person.

  5. Just a reminder if you missed it this past weekend during Pulse-Con. Tomorrow (10/6) will kick off the 2022 Fall Walmart Collector-Con event at 10am Eastern Time. One of the items going up for pre-order will be a new Marvel Legends Classic Comic Star-Lord figure from Hasbro.
  6. When Goblin Queen was announced earlier today the campaign was at 5,369 Backers. Then it saw a temporary boost and it managed to climb back over 5400 Backers. Now we are back down to 5,366 Backers. The stretch goals aren't going to save this thing because too many people dont think there is any chance they will be unlocked. Hasbro is gonna try and show it off to people this weekend at NYCC but I don't see that really making a huge impact. Hasbro will let it runs its course till the end of October but I think its gotten to the point where you can say stick a fork in this one cause its done.
  7. Next month, J. Scott Campbell continues to honor the anniversaries of Marvel’s greatest icons with a new variant cover for FANTASTIC FOUR #1! Celebrating 60 years of epic super hero adventures and unmatched scifi storytelling, Campebll’s latest anniversary covers are just in time for the Fantastic Four’s new era by writer Ryan North and artist Iban Coello! The team’s new ongoing will begin with Marvel’s First Family going their separate ways after a mysterious incident takes place in New York City. As they find their way back to eachother, the question on every fan’s mind will be “Whatever happened to the Fantastic Four?” “It’s a thrill and an honor to create cover art celebrating the anniversary of characters that have become so iconic and ingrained in our culture,” Campbell said. “I really wanted to make images that would have a visual bridge from the pulpy 4 color origins of these monumental heroes to the modern day slick coloring and production we are now all familiar with.” Check out the covers now and stay tuned for the reveal of more J. 8. Hasbro has also said they will have this on display at the Marvel booth this weekend during NYCC trying to drum up more interest in it by letting people see it in person.
  9. Hasbro today officially went on and revealed another stretch goal for their Marvel Legends HasLab Engine of Vengeance which is the 6" Marvel Legends Goblin Queen. However this is NOT the second stretch goal but NOW the first stretch goal only needing 10k Backers. The Marvel Legends 7" Mephisto now becomes stretch goal #2 needing 12k Backers to be included. This move comes as the Haslab campaign has continued to struggle and loose backers. As I type this the campaign currently has 5,369 Backers and needs 9k Backers by the end of October 31 in order to move into production. Back on September 23 the campaign had reached a high of 6,118 Backers but then started loosing them when it was announced the Early Bird Robbie Reyes (Human Form) figure would now be included. Since then Hasbro announced they would still be including the Human Form Robbie Reyes headsculpt that could be used with the regular Ghost Rider figure. Hasbro is likely hoping that by adding the Goblin Queen and setting the goal lower than Mephisto, this will reverse things and get the campaign back on track. I guess only time will tell if it works.
  10. The Iron Man Proton Cannon is best know as a weapon used by Iron Man for one of his super moves in the Capcom Marvel Video Games. Both Hasbro and Medicom have recently done versions of this cannon for the Marvel Legends and MAFEX lines. Medicom has released the cannon with their recent MAFEX Classic Iron Man figure which really isn't the right armor for it but I guess they have no plans to release a Modular Armor Iron Man. Hasbro has released the cannon with their second release of their Modular Iron Man figure which is the Iron Man featured in the Capcom games. The Hasbro figure here in the US is being released as a Pulse exclusive. Shown below via Isaac Wong are over 70 in-hand images of both the MAFEX Classic Iron Man and the Marvel Legends Modular Armor Iron Man which includes comparisons of both figures and their cannon's.
  11. Its at its lowest since it first started loosing backers on 9/23. It currently sits at 5,375 Backers. I suspect it will be under 5k by end of week.
  12. In 2020, Alex Ross crafted over 30 extraordinary depictions of Marvel’s most beloved super heroes in a beautiful art piece known as TIMELESS! This iconic imagery was used to produce a best-selling variant cover program and now… it’s the villains turn! The legendary artist’s newest art piece deviously unites 37 of Marvel’s classic villains! Capturing the menace, danger, and allure of characters like Green Goblin, Doctor Doom, and Thanos, this stunning group shot represents the definitive takes on Marvel’s deadliest foes straight from one the industry’s most revered talents! Look for this beautifully painted artwork to be used for a new series of variant covers starting in March 2023! “The passion I held for illustrating many of Marvel’s heroes in a timeless representation was easily matched by the passion I felt for illustrating the villains,” Ross said. “Marvel clearly has some of the greatest concepts in the realm of supervillains as well as heroes.” Stay tuned for more information about Alex Ross’ new TIMELESS piece including which titles it’ll grace the covers of this March!
  13. Available for purchase now on ShopDisney is a new Marvel ToyBox Avengers 13-piece action figure set that includes Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Hawkeye, Black Panther, Spider-Man, Black Widow, Doctor Strange, Ant-Man, Wasp, Captain Marvel, and War Machine.
  14. The newest trailer for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has been released. In the film, Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira) and the Dora Milaje (including Florence Kasumba) fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death. As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) and forge a new path for the kingdom of Wakanda. Introducing Tenoch Huerta as Namor, king of Talokan, the film also stars Dominique Thorne, Michaela Coel, Mabel Cadena and Alex Livinalli. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, directed by Ryan Coogler and produced by Kevin Feige and Nate Moore, opens in theaters November 11, 2022.
  15. Your tracking it closer than me so you may be seeing peeks I missed but the overall gist of the article is the same and at the end of the day this thing is not likely gonna make it. Since my report this morning its lost 10 backers, at least as I type this it has. So the counter is still struggling as opposed to steadily going up.
  16. Since my report this morning its lost 10 more backers so the backer count still continues to struggle and at this point if nothing else there is a psychological aspect now at play. Even if the stretch goals were enough to entice people, the fact it doesnt seem likely it will get to any of the stretch goals will keep people from backing it. This is a case where I think the stretch goals are more appealing than the main product offering and we are seeing that's not enough to save one of these things.
  17. Following yesterday's Marvel Legends Pulse-Con panel, thegreattonino who painted the Marvel Legends 7" Mephisto Prototype figure for Hasbro posted these shots giving us a better look at the figure.
  18. Yesterday during the Marvel Legends Pulse-Con panel Hasbro seemingly tried to sweeten the pot on their Marvel Legends HasLab Engine of Vengeance campaign by giving us a better look at the 7" Mephisto Marvel Legends figure that would be included as the first stretch goal if the campaign were to reach 12k Backers by the end of October. Besides showing Mephisto they also teased the second stretch goal which seemed pretty obvious was for a Goblin Queen Marvel Legends figure. We know all the stretch goals will feature 6" scale Marvel Legends figures and the teaser they showed looked to be the red ruby pendant Madelyne Pryor wears on her Goblin Queen outfit. Likely for that figure to be included the campaign would need to reach 14-15k Backers. While Hasbro has not said exactly how many stretch goals they had planned for this campaign, I suspect there might be at least one more figure besides Mephisto and Goblin Queen in the works. Mephisto's son Blackheart seems like the most logical choice. The Orb will not be one of the stretch goals, as Hasbro revealed that one to be released at regular retail yesterday during the Pulse-Con panel. The Orb will be released in the next Avengers themed comic wave in early 2023. Earlier this week Hasbro announced that even though the campaign lost it's Early Bird 6" Marvel Legends Robbie Reyes (Human Form) figure by failing to reach 9k backers but the end of September 23, they would still be including an alternate human Robbie Reyes headsculpt you could use with the Robbie Reyes Ghost Rider figure. That's assuming the campaign can get to 9k Backers by the end of October so that it can move into production. The campaign has struggled quit a bit so far. Back on September 23 the campaign had reached a high of 6,118 Backers, but then began to loose backers when people realized the Early Bird figure wasn't going to be included. When Hasbro announced they would be including the alternate human head earlier this week the campaign had dropped to 5,419 Backers. Since then the counter has gone up and down seeing it's biggest boost after yesterday's panel. As I type this, the campaign has 5,491 Backers with just over 30 days before it ends. While the campaign still has time to rebound from it's loses, it's left many wondering if the campaign will even be funded, let alone reach enough backers to unlock any of the Stretch Goals. So EVEN IF people find the Stretch Goals appealing enough to motivate them to back this campaign, they may not be willing to do so unless they see the campaign reach the minimum 9k Backers needed to move into production, which to me still seems to be very much in doubt.
  19. Target has listed the new Marvel Legends Wakanda Forever Deluxe Ironheart figure that had already started showing up at physical stores on their website. This figure IS NOT a Target exclusive and I believe along with the Deluxe Mojo figure will be made available everywhere later today. Probably at 6pm ET. The cost is $31.49. This is NOT the figure we told you was listed on Amazon the other day using the codename Ft. Knox. That is another Marvel Legends Wakanda Deluxe figure coming from Hasbro which will also be a general release. That one will likely be revealed in late October or early November.
  20. The new Marvel Legends Series Retro Iron Man With Proton Cannon is available for pre-order at HasbroPulse for $44.99. DD 3-pack is also up
  21. The newly announced Marvel Legends X-Men Retro Cardback wave which includes figures of Longshot, Classic Multiple Man, Wolverine In Yellow And Blue X-Men Uniform, Avalanche, Dark Phoenix and Spiral are available for pre-order now at our sponsors BigBadToyStore.com and Entertainment Earth
  22. So any ideas on this Haslab Tier 2 tease? My brain is kinda fried so im coming up empty. The thing over Mephistos hand is the tease for some other figure.
  23. I prefer the paint apps on the Mojo in the Mojoworld set version so I am gonna stick with that one.
