  1. Just wanted to give you guys a FYI, It doesn't look like Hasbro is going to have any presence at the actual convention again this year but they will be holding an event the Wed evening 10/9 before the con starts for press to reveal some new product and such. Don't know how much or of what but we'll be sure to have coverage of whatever it is on MN.
  2. The ad server was hacked over Christmas which is why the site got tagged by google. The hack has been fixed and the site was cleared by google, however for those using Firefox you are likely going to continue to get the warning. Firefox apparently has a bug in it that doesn't clear this error once its detected, regardless if google has cleared the site or not. We are trying to get this resolved but basically till Firefox issues an updated version you are likely going to continue to get this warning if you happened to come on the site when this all originally happened. So the best I can suggest
  3. My first figs were the Spider-Man Classics and I picked up all of series 1 at the same time except for Toad which was actually a hold over from a less articulated ML type line. This line also had a Wolverine figure which they later released with a X-Men Movie Wolverine figure at KB Toys. Thats why Toad didn't have very good articulation compared to the other ML figures. After that TB started sending us ML figures for review purposes... Ah the good ol' days.
  4. No the variants have not been released yet and from what I am told probably won't be till early next year.
  5. Truth is they slipped my mind when I was doing the poll, but thats why there is a "Other" choice ;)
  6. Nope that was it for now. February's Toy Fair is likely the next opportunity we will see anything more for next year.
  7. Some have been asking if the Phoenix was Jean Grey or Hope. The official description Hasbro has put out lists here as Jean Grey, so for now we are calling here Jean. MARVEL LEGENDS 6-Inch JEAN GREY, BLACK PANTHER and MARVEL’s HAWKEYE Figures (Approximate Retail Price: $14.99 each; Ages: 5 & up; Available: Spring 2013) The ultimate toys for the greatest heroes and villains of the MARVEL COMICS comic book universe! Each 6-inch MARVEL LEGENDS figure depicts a classic or modern favorite character from MARVEL COMICS, and features detailed sculpting and unparalleled articulation. Each
  8. LOL man, those were our pictures on the Marvelous News Facebook page. I uploaded those to FB last night from my Iphone at the event because it was quicker than posting them to the site and wanted you guys to get a first look as soon as possible. ;) https://www.facebook.com/pages/Marvelous-Ne...297387256948387
  9. Should be a mini BAF like Hit Monkey from the first series, but no announcement of what character it will be has been made. At SDCC there was some hints a Rocket Raccoon figure was coming.
  10. Oh and for the record, Wal-Mart not carrying 6" figures in all their stores is nothing new. My closest Wal-Mart quit carrying 6" Marvel figures several years ago when they downsized their toy dept.
  11. LOL. Ummm I am not sure what this "Source" of yours is.... but I would say you might want to start looking for new sources ;)
  12. That is correct, and your right no need to sound the alarm. Its no secret Hasbro has had some distribution issues this year with all their brands which has caused a bit of a backlog of new stuff getting out. Hasbro is still working to get many of the products they showed off last year out to retail and therefore do not have a lot to show new yet for next year. My guess is we will see more new product at Toy Fair in Feb as things get more back on track.
  13. No they actually wont have any product on display at the show. Not at the Marvel booth or any place else. There is the press event, not a conference the evening before the convention starts.
  14. No panel and no booth. Hasbro is holding a "Press Event" the night before the convention for members of the press where they say they will show some never-before-seen product for 2013 for SW, GIJoe, TF and Marvel. Don't know what they will be showing, but if you want to find out then you will want to be sure to check MN that evening (10/10) to see.
  15. I collected Marvel Legends from Day 1 but when MU came out I made the switch to the smaller scale, mainly because they take up less space. These days I collect many different lines but there is no one line I feel a need to pick up every figure from. I pick up the ones I like. As for selling, unless you really need the money, I never really got the point of selling a collection. Did you spend all that time collecting a line just to sell it off? I don't collect ML that much any more but I still have all the ones I did collect, same with the 90's TB line and the Secret Wars ones before that. Its
  16. Nothing yet, but with another Iron Man movie in the works I am sure they will get around to it eventually. Your probably right. I was just shocked they did not take the opportunity to produce one for the Avengers 6" line. Hopefully they will do a 6" Mark VII and a 6" Mark VIII. The 6" lines always seem to get the shaft in Marvel Movies. Yeah though I would rather see a 6" Black Widow before another Iron Man.

  18. Thanks. LOL Had not thought of that. Prob not different images but we might add so cool background images.
  19. Which TRU locations? Sorry meant wave 19 not 17 and it was the Rockville TRU They also had the new comic packs with She-Hulk and Magneto.

  21. Found all of wave 17 except Kang at TRU here in MD. Also saw remnants of the wave at another TRU yesterday.
  22. For official stats I believe technically John Walker is 2 inches taller than Steve Rogers, but in most comics he is drawn in, they are relatively the same height, so to me, height wise this figure is fine. Where Agent looks a little off compared to Cap, is in the bulk department. John Walker is a ex-wrestler in the super powered federation (I forget the exact name of the league, but it was a bunch of guys who had super strength and wrestled each other), and so Agent should be a bit more bulkier than Rogers. Again though depending on who is drawing the character, that can vary so it doesn't bot

  24. Thanks for the feedback, however you have to keep in mind the database is created and maintained by a fellow collector who does it out of love for the hobby. We don't get sent any of these toys by Hasbro. He has to go out and buy the figures with his own money for the most part and then take the time to photograph them all. So if there is area lacking its primarily to the fact that Thomas doesn't yet own those figures. Hopefully over time we can plug some of those holes but with all the different lines out there and such some areas aren't going to get the priority as others. I am also goi
  25. http://marvelousnews.com/index.php?catid=23&itemid=14636 "The image gives us a look at the variants which includes a Stealth Ironman, Ghost Rider with blue flame and Commander Rogers with transparent shield". Yep I posted that. Though technically I guess the yellow is the variant, both with be dist about equal from what I understand at the same time and the one with yellow flame is the one most people are going to recognize and associate with Ghost Rider. Its kinda a chicken and the egg if you ask me. I dont think either really meet the official def of a "variant" its more li
