  9. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment – the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain. In replacement of James Rhodes’s third War Machine armor, War Machine Mark IV is a new Marine-like armor designed by Tony Stark used during the Battle of Wakanda. This upgraded armor with heavily mounted machine is designed to coordination with Rhode smoothly. Today, Hot Toys is very excited to introduce the brand new 1/6th scale War Machine Mark IV Collectible Figure from Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War – to our MMS Diecast series which the collectible figure is made of diecast material, and realistically designed to look even more like the armor as it appears in the film. The movie-accurate War Machine Mark IV Collectible Figure is specially crafted with numerous details based on the image of Don Cheadle as James Rhodes/War Machine in Avengers: Infinity War, features two interchangeable head sculpts including a newly painted helmeted head sculpt with striking likeness and a helmet head with LED light-up function, metallic black and silver painted armor with decals and camouflage patterns, LED light-up chest Arc Reactor and repulsors, interchangeable forearm weapon armors, War Machine’s articulated back-mounted machine gun and back-mounted missile launchers, and a specially designed Avengers: Infinity War themed figure stand! A Special Edition only available in selected countries will specially included a battle damaged Outrider diorama attachable to the figure stand and an interchangeable rocky ground graphic card. Marvel fans shouldn’t miss out on having this new War Machine collectible figure to complete your Avengers: Infinity War collection.
  10. The newest catalog for Dinsey's line of 4" Toybox figures has been released and in it features one new unknown Marvel figure. The silhouette of the figure is blacked out and while often times it is pretty easy to tell based on the shape what character it is, this one is a little tough. My best guess is Thanos. Looks like it may have a bald head, big chin and be wearing a large glove. Only time will tell. What figure do you think it is? Let us know in the comment section below.
  11. Hot Toys today announced an added bonus piece to be offered for their upcoming Avengers: Infinity War 1/6 scale Iron Man Mark 50 figure. It is the jet thruster Iron Man transforms his legs into in order to reach the Black Order ship that was heading for space in the movie. This figure along with the additional pieces as well as other Hot Toys figure will be on display later this week at the San Diego Comic Con. If you aren't attending the convention yourself then be sure to check back to MarvelousNews starting tomorrow evening and throughout the rest of the week for complete coverage of the event.
  12. Box office history was made when Marvel Studios' "Avengers: Infinity War" shattered all opening records, surpassed the $2 billion mark at the global box office in just 48 days, and remains the fourth highest-grossing film of all time. Now, the cinematic event ten-years in the making comes home Digitally on July 31 and Blu-ray on Aug. 14 with over two hours of bonus. "Marvels' Avengers: Infinity War" is a must-own addition to every in-home film collection and is packaged several ways so that fans get the most out of their viewing experience. Consumers who experience the ultimate showdown Digitally will join a 30-minute roundtable with Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) directors Anthony and Joe Russo, Jon Favreau, Joss Whedon, James Gunn, Ryan Coogler, Peyton Reed and Taika Waititi who reflect on how their movies contribute to the MCU's larger storytelling adventure. The 4K Cinematic Universe Edition's never-before-seen bonus material grants behind-the-scenes access to MCU members and features the memorable moments when characters first meet, the rationale behind some unexpected on-screen pair-ups, and a funny Super Hero gag reel. Featurettes explore the frighteningly powerful Thanos and two action-packed attempts to prevent his collection of all six Infinity Stones: the struggle on Titan and the massive battle in Wakanda. Deleted scenes and filmmaker commentary reveal even more on-set secrets from Marvel Studios' monumental undertaking.
  13. The second hero to join the Avengers: Infinity War Nendoroid series is Black Panther! The figure which stands 10cm tall features full articulation as well as a double-joined neck allowing for all sorts of acrobatic poses befitting the Black Panther! In order to emphasize his iconic claws, the Nendoroid comes with interchangeable hand parts that are slightly larger than normal. Effect parts to display him slashing at his opponents are also included, and the parts come in a left and right form that attach to his hand parts allowing Black Panther to be displayed in battle with just one hand or slashing with both! Look for it to be released in December. You can pre-order this figure now at HobbyLinkJapan.
