Not sure who first leaked these images out on the net today, but I saw DisFunko post them up on Twitter. These were supposed to be tomorrow's Marvel Monday reveal (The first Monday of every month Hasbro makes a new Marvel Legends reveal), but now that the cat is out of the bag we are gonna show em to you. All the figures in this wave had been previously revealed by Hasbro, except for Pirate Deadpool and Shiklah which we actually told you about were likely coming before. The other figures in the wave include Black Tom Cassidy, Sunspot, Warpath, X-Men Deadpool, and Maverick. The Build-A-Figure is the X-Factor Strong Guy. Look for this wave to be up for pre-order online by tomorrow afternoon.

Jtprime17 sends us word of a new listing for what appears to be some type of Marvel Legends Deadpool role-play item coming from Hasbro. The listing reads as follows: E69810000 MATERIAL DESC MVL DEADPOOL L EGENDS ROLE PLAY QUANTITY 2190 MVL DEADPOOL PREMIUM FAN Our initial thought would be something like Deadpool's swords, but that seems more unlikely when you consider how difficult it would be to do realistic looking swords that meet safety regulations. You would run into similar problems with any kind of gun Deadpool might use as well. A mask is another option, but generally they only do role-play stuff for the masks that are helmets, not something that would be spandex or rubber. Whatever it is, it looks like it will ship 2 per case. Of course this listing isn't confirmed by Hasbro so we will treat it as rumor until we get more details.

While not slated for release here in the US until March, the new Marvel Legends Ultimate Wave 3 - Professor X & Deadpool sets from Hasbro have apparently started to show up in Canada already. A brand-new 30-second commercial has been released for "Once Upon A Deadpool," which is FOX's upcoming holiday release of the PG-13 version of "Deadpool 2." With a portion of the proceeds going to charity -- for every ticket sold, one dollar will go to the "Fudge Cancer" charity campaign, "Once Upon A Deadpool" arrives in theaters December 12th. To kick off the holiday season audiences of almost all ages will soon be able to enjoy the Merc with the Mouth's reimagining of Deadpool 2, filtered through the prism of childlike innocence. "Fox has been asking for a PG-13 basically since the start in 2006," Ryan Reynolds told Deadline. "I've said no since 2006. Now, this one time, I said 'Yes' on two conditions. First, a portion of the proceeds had to go to charity. Second, I wanted to kidnap Fred Savage. The second condition took some explaining..." Fred Savage will join Reynolds in new scenes for ONCE UPON A DEADPOOL in an homage to Savage's starring role in the 1987 bedtime-story classic THE PRINCESS BRIDE. It has been confirmed that the unknown Deadpool movie slated for a December 21 release that 20th Century announced a month ago will in fact be a PG-13 version of Deadpool 2. In an interview with /Film, Deadpool screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick revealed that the more kid-friendly version of the film will in fact feature new footage. “We definitely shot new stuff,” Wernick said. “And recently too. After Deadpool 2 came out and we were all sitting around, we came to it less about the idea of let’s make a PG-13 movie and more, ‘Let’s talk a little bit about Deadpool.’ We were kicking around some ideas and then I think it was Ryan [Reynolds] who had the great framing device and we all got excited and went to the studio. They said, ‘Yeah, let’s do it. Fire up the cameras.’ About two months ago we were out on soundstages shooting again. Ryan was in the suit and the gang was back together, Dave Leitch and Ryan and us having a great time and laughing. It comes together great so we’re super excited about it.” The overall story isn't expected to change to much. Rumors suggest that it will open similar to the Princess Pride movie that stared a young Fred Savage having a story read to him in bed. A PG-13 version of Deadpool have many worried that this is being done to test the waters for when Disney takes over the reins of the Fox Marvel based movies next year, which has led many to fear that the merc with a mouth will get watered down and no longer be an R rated franchise. I don't know if that is the case or if this is just a money grab on the part of the studio. Disney in the past has indicated that they would be willing to keep Deadpool R rated, but if this is a test it is one I suspect will fail. The new footage while funny will likely be out on YouTube even before the movie launches in theaters, and even if it doesn't, I don't see it being enough to warrant buying an expensive movie ticket to see a movie most will have already seen, even younger kids who either sneaked into the theater or have since watched it on home release. Will you go see Deadpool again this holiday season???
