  2. WARNING: This story contains A BIG SPOILER for the upcoming Disney+ Falcon And the Winter Soldier series. Reader JTPrime alerts us to this image (Click this link to see the image) he discovered on the Korean website Safetykorea.kr. The website from what I can tell is one that collects, manages and distributes information in regards to the safety of products in that country. In other words they check to make sure things like toys are safe for children to play with. Any way the image shows what appears to be an upcoming Titan Hero Falcon figure from Hasbro based on the upcoming Disney+ Falcon and the Winter Soldier series. The Falcon figure and the image on the front of the package shows him wearing an outfit very similar to the one the character wore in the comics when he temporarily assumed the role of Captain America. If it wasn't for the image of actor Anthony Mackie wearing the outfit on the packaging, I would almost say this was just a comic book based figure shipping in packaging from the show. That's how much the outfit on this figure looks to the one seen in the comics. Many have suspected that the MCU Falcon would at some point during the Disney+ show assume the actual mantel of Captain America beyond just using the shield he got in Avengers: Endgame, but this is the most proof to date of that happening we have seen. Of course with the recent news breaking that Chris Evans will likely be soon returning to the MCU, one has to wonder how long will it before Sam Wilson passes the mantel back to Steve Rogers. Check out the first trailer to the show if you haven't already.

  7. Bucky Barnes and Sam Wilson have both fought by Captain America’s side and taken on the mantle themselves. Now, as the Winter Soldier and Falcon, Cap's most trusted friends are going on their own adventure in their own series, FALCON & WINTER SOLDIER! Written by Derek Landy with art by Federico Vicentini, this high-stakes action spectacular will pit Bucky and Sam against the worst of Hydra in a pulse-pounding race to stop one of the terror group’s deadliest plans yet! “I was given free-rein to do whatever I wanted with this book, so I took the opportunity to do a big, sprawling action-adventure that takes Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes across America, from an office filled with dead government agents in New York to a house in the suburbs stuffed with Captain America memorabilia to a secret Hydra base somewhere in Nevada...,” Landy reveals. “I wanted every issue to top the action of the issue before it, and with Federico Vicentini on art we're just about managing it! I have yet to write an action scene that Federico can't make a thousand times better with the sheer kineticism of his pencils. It's been an absolute blast — in more ways than one.” The first issue of this action-packed new series hits comic shops on Wednesday, February 26 -- but you can get a sneak peek right now on marvel.com! FALCON & WINTER SOLDIER #1 will also introduce the Marvel Universe to a brand new character, one who has a deep, and perhaps misguided, appreciation for all things Captain America! Prepare to meet The Natural, a skilled fighter that Landy describes as a “true fanboy… being led down the wrong path by the wrong people.” Check out the Chinese New Year Variant cover below by artist Ziyian Liu and pick up the first issue of this action-packed new series on Wednesday, February 26th! Retailers, final order cutoff for this debut issue is Monday, February 3rd! FALCON & WINTER SOLDIER #1 (DEC190794) Written by DEREK LANDY Art by FEDERICO VICENTINI Cover by DAN MORA Chinese New Year Variant by ZIYIAN LIU (DEC190797)
  8. According to Variety, Marvel Studio's is looking to have Winter Soldier and Falcon team-up for a limited series on the upcoming Disney streaming service. Malcolm Spellman who has worked on such TV shows as Fox's Empire is being tapped to write the story on this one. Falcon and Winter Soldier are played by Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan and been in multiple Captain America and Avengers movies. Other characters previously reported to be getting the limited series TV treatment for Disney's streaming service include Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Loki (Tom Hiddleston). Unlike the Netflix Marvel shows which could also eventually end up on the new Disney streaming service, these shows will be produced by Marvel Studios and Kevin Feige who of course work directly on the MCU movies.
  9. Tamashii Nations has released updated images for their upcoming S.H. Figuarts Avengers: Infinity War Falcon figure. 12. This is my custom Falcon from Captain America Winter Soldier. He's pulled together from too many Marvel Legends figures to mention, but the wings and other pieces were taken from a Diamond Select Falcon and adapted to the 6 inch scale. Follow the make it yourself toy boy on Facebook to see more of my customs!

This one was pretty time consuming, and I had my moments of self doubt, but I’m glad I pushed myself to finish it to showcase here. The torso is from an ML Bucky Cap, the legs are from a movie Winter Soldier, the arms are from a Punisher, the head is from an ML movie Blade, and the wings are from an X-Men Classics Archangel. I added goggles to the head and it was resculpted and reworked to look more like Anthony Mackie. The shirt pockets came from a NECA Hicks, I used styrene for the zipper, sculpted all the fabric wrinkles in Aves Apoxie Sculpt, and used the harness straps from a Survival Suit Bruce Wayne. The hands come from a movie Nick Fury figure. The back leg armor on Falcon is from an Ultimate Iron Man. The wings were the toughest part. I reshaped the Archangel wings some, and used lots of reference images to get the design right. All the detailing over the wings was done with styrene. Very time consuming. Very frustrating. But something I felt was important to do to get Falcon right. Of course everything was painted accurately to the movie, down to the camo pattern on the pants. Last thing to do was to give him some pistols and a flight stand. And now Falcon is ready to fight alongside Cap to take down Hydra! Thanks for looking!
