  1. Iron Studios proudly presents its first MiniCo line of Marvel's most beloved mutant superheroes, the X-Men, one of the most requested series by fans and collectors, in Iron Studios' stylized Toy Art version. The collection is based on the design of comics from the 1990s, one of the most popular and cult phases of the group, with a diorama scenario of the heroes on top of a scrap of a Sentinel Robot, one of their classic enemies, and explores the most striking traits of each of the eight characters that complete the entire diorama. "Cyclops - X-Men - MiniCo - Iron Studios" features the hero showing all his strength by leading the group. "Wolverine - X-Men - MiniCo - Iron Studios" advances ready to jump against any threat, and as he always says, he is the best at what he does. "Storm - X-Men - MiniCo - Iron Studios" features Ororo Munroe flying with the winds that she can control and a small sample of her power in the palm of her left hand. "Jean Gray - X-Men - MiniCo - Iron Studios", the powerful X-Men telepath levitates with her telekinetic power over the remnants of a defeated Sentinel Robot's head. In her raised right hand, she creates a small cosmic firebird, the avatar of her Phoenix Force. "Beast - X-Men - MiniCo - Iron Studios" features Dr. Henry "Hank" McCoy, focused on reading a book while enjoying a relaxing hot beverage in his personalized mug. "Gambit - X-Men - MiniCo - Iron Studios" and "Rogue - X-Men - MiniCo - Iron Studios" are doing one of their favorite pastimes: flirting! Finally, "Psylocke - X-Men - MiniCo - Iron Studios" rests on the rocks of a battlefield, with her Katana sword at her feet, creating, with her psychic energy, an Origami form of a classic Tsuru lucky bird. Check out Iron Studios' friendly line of X-Men MiniCos. The items are sold separately and are already available for Pre-Order! 10. Deadline has the opportunity to sit down with X-Men producer Lauren Shuler Donner during TCA and questioned her about Marvel's Kevin Feige, the Gambit movie and the New Mutants movie. Shuler Donner knows that handing the X-Men franchise to Disney and Marvel’s Kevin Feige is in good hands. “Kevin (Feige) and I started the first movie, he worked for me, he has a great story sense when it comes to weaving each world together, I trust him and I trust where he will take it,” said Shuler Donner. As for the Gambit movie with Channing Tatum; its final result will be determined by the new Disney Marvel when it comes to fruition. The film is currently not bubbling in development. There’s no director attached to the pic even though Fox has it dated for March 13th, 2020. As for Marvel characters, Shuler Donner says that there’s been some thoughts about a new Wolverine down the road. "It’s all in Disney’s playground and they get to decide,” said the producer. Will she be sticking around with the X-Men franchise once Disney takes control? “I don’t know, I don’t think so, certainly in name credit, it’s up to Kevin (Feige),” said Shuler Donner, “I don’t know what Kevin is thinking, I think he’s still dealing with the wealth of characters and trying to make sense of it all.” Shuler Donner hoped to clear up the rumors of New Mutants heading to Hulu, Shuler Donner, who yielded production oversee of the project to Simon Kinberg, says that she’s “hopeful” that the teen-horror pic will receive a theatrical release. The pic is currently scheduled to hit theaters on August 2nd. “They worked hard on it,” said Shuler Donner about the film’s production team, “I want to see it released (theatrically), I’d hate to see it thrown at Hulu.”

  15. Just days after 20th Century Fox released the first trailer for the upcoming X-Men: Dark Phoenix movie, they announced that the movie's release has been pushed from February 14, 2019 to June 7, 2019.. Fox also announced they will be releasing an as-of-yet untitled Deadpool movie this year on December 21, which no one up until now has heard anything about. The chances Fox made a new Deadpool movie without anyone ever catching wind of it is nearly impossible, which has led many to believe this will just be a kid-friendly version of one of the previous 'R' rated Deadpools. Either that or maybe they will release as a feature movie the previously canceled Deadpool animated series that was slated for FX. This week's X-Men trailer was not received well by many fans who long for the day when Disney's Marvel Studios will take over the franchise, but it is unclear if this release date move is a sign that the studio has a lack of faith in the movie or perhaps the opposite. Summer release dates are often herald for those films expected to do well at the box office, but this isn't the first time this movie has been delayed. Originally this film was supposed to open next month in November and was delayed until 2019 so re-shoots could be done. There has been no word any more re-shoots are planned during this delay, but who knows. Fox also announced that the still directorless Gambit movie which would star Channing Tatum has also been delayed again, this time going from June 7, 2019 to March 13, 2020. The Disney/Fox merger is expected to be completed sometime in 2019, at which point Disney will have full control of all these properties and when or if they will actually be released. My guess at that point movies like Gambit and New Mutants will be completely scrapped, and while I have little doubt X-Men: Dark Phoenix will be a train wreck, being the money has already been spent to make it, Disney will likely still opt to release it.
