  1. What is the most dissapointing action figure in your experience? In my case, this was a Spider-Punk because of its stretchable plastic guitar strap. At some point, the guitar was so loose that it hung almost at the feet of the figure. The strap is a complete disappointment
  2. What would you like to see at SDCC 2019? Whether it be ML, Select, anything! I personally hope to see more movie characters being made, kinda like how we're getting MJ, Peggy, and Luis. I'd LOVE to see Ultron like how he looked towards the end of his movie. Maybe Red Skull like how he appeared in IW. IW/Endgame War-Machine. Probably out of reach now but i'd also love to see the netflix characters come back like Punisher in his vest with no coat look. the all black daredevil fit. Elektra in her Defenders fit. so and so forth. I dont know what's in store for this year but it could be a very exciting one! what do you all want to see?
  3. So, per another thread, the idea for this one came up. Knowing we live in a golden age of superhero costumes adapted for the big screen, I'd argue since Sam Raimi's "Spider-man" in 2002 (NOT counting the X-men's biker leathers) which is the best, the very best ever adapted costume on the big or small screen?...Granted, thinking of one probably makes you think of 5 more, all of which sound like good answers ......... and they are!.........but if you had to choose one, which would it be?......and for this site, which figure goes along best? (I'm biased and will always go with a Hot Toy) For me, it's an embarrassment of riches thanks to the MCU, and I'll go with the SHIELD suit from "Captain America: Winter Soldier." Amazingly unexpected, faithful, functional that set a template for every other Cap uniform to follow, along with inspiring a perfect Hot Toy. It's impossible to pick one MCU costume........looking at you original Iron Man armor, for starters.....but I feel good with my choice. Yours?
  4. Hasbro has surprised me quite a few times since taking over. Spending over 100 dollars to complete a wave was not something I ever sought out to do yet here I am head over heels for the Apocalypse wave. This wave while not perfect stood out a lot to me. What wave(s) that YOU yourself have completed stand out? What is your Wave Above All?
  5. Today I take a look at the new Marvel Legends Black Panther Movie 6" Erik Killmonger figure from Hasbro which is part of the M'Baku Build-A-Figure wave. You can pre-order this figure now at Megalopolis Toys. Check out images for this figure below and let us know what you think about it in the COMMENTS SECTION below.
  6. After every major convention event where tons of info gets thrown at you over the course of multiple days we always try to do a recap to make sure the best we can you're all caught up with information. So now that the 2019 New York Toy Fair has come to an end, lets go over what we know for Hasbro's Marvel Legends line. We already know the first waves of 2019 which includes the second Black Panther movie assortment as well as the Captain Marvel Kree Sentry Build-A-Figure and Spider-Man Kingpin Build-A-Figures are on shelves now. The 6" Hydra Supreme & Arnim Zola Figure 2-Pack has also already hit shelves. The Walgreens exclusive Mystique and Target exclusive Captain Marvel in Starforce outfit figures have already been released overseas and should soon be out here in the US followed by the Walmart Captain Marvel Binary Form figure. The Rider Series Professor X and Deadpool with Scooter have also hit in Canada and again should start seeing release here in the US any day now. The next wave due out likely will be the first wave of Marvel Legends themed Avengers figures which will be a mix of comic book based and Avengers: Endgame figures. This wave should be out towards the end of March. We know the comic book based figures for this wave will include Citizen V, Living Laser, Hercules, Nighthawk and Avengers: Infinity War Ebony Maw. As for the Endgame movie figures, there a number of RUMORS floating around such as Captain America, Ronin and a armored Thanos for the Build-A-Figure. Hasbro is embargoed from talking about Endgame so we will likely see the figures leak out onto shelves before we actually get any kind of confirmation from Hasbro on these. Following the Avengers wave should be a couple of Target Exclusive 2-Packs which are slated with April 21, 2019 release dates. The Kraven Last Hunt 2-pack we first saw back during the New York Comic Con with repainted Kraven The Hunter and Symbiote Spider-Man figures as well as the recently announced Spider-Man: Homecoming 2-Pack with MJ and Spider-Man with sports blazer. Both these sets went up for pre-order on the Target website but are currently listed as sold out. After that expect to see the first wave of X-Men figures for 2019 hit shelves. These are due out in May (though we will likely see them out earlier) and will include Skullbuster, Jim Lee Style Jubilee, Blink, Forge, Weapon X, Jim Lee style Beast and Gambit. The Build-A-Figure for this wave will be Caliban. This wave went up for pre-order this past weekend at places like Megalopolis.Toys. While we don't know for sure, we suspect the next things we will see hit shelves will be the first X-Force wave of 2019 and second Spider-Man wave. We know the X-Force wave will include Guardian, Boom Boom with gum (gum not shown), Cannonball with blast effect, Nightcrawler with non-bendy-wire tail and Mr. Sinister. There should be two more figure announced for this wave and we suspect the Build-A-Figure will be Mr. Sinister. One of the final figures for this wave which strangely was not mentioned this weekend might be the Wendigo we saw last year at the Canadian Fan Expo, though that seems like a Build-A-Figure candidate as well. Honestly I totally forgot about Wendigo during the Hasbro Toy Fair event or I would have asked them about it there. Also I know some are annoyed about Cannonball not having actual legs. I saw nothing indicating alternate legs would be included with the figure, but I also did not actually confirm with Hasbro he would not include them. Lets hope Hasbro does add legs with the figure along with the blast effect piece. For the second wave of Spider-Man based figures we know for sure that this wave will include two figures from the new Spider-Man: Far From Home movie with Spider-Man in his updated regular suit and Stealth Suit Spider-Man. For comic figures we will see Classic Julia Carpenter Spider-Woman, Doppelganger Spider-Man, Hydro-Man with removable puddle feet and alternate water arms and Scorpion with 13" bendy wire tail and new sculpt. There is likely 2 more figures for this wave yet to be revealed. My guess is at least one will be a movie figure of Mysterio, but we will have to see. If any of the figures that have already been revealed for the wave are the Build-A-Figure, the likely candidate would be Hydro-Man. We could also conceivably see the second Avengers themed wave hit around this time as well which will likely be during that summer time frame. This wave we know will include the Black Panther Movie Shuri as well as comic book based figures of Loki, Beta-Ray Bill, Union Jack and Serpent Society member Rock Python. It's unknown if this will be a six figure wave plus Build-A-Figure or 7 figure wave plus Build-A-Figure. If we go by last year's Avengers figures as an indicator then it would be a six figure wave which would mean the two figures left to reveal, one of which being the Build-A-Figure, that I am guessing will be Endgame based. For the Marvel Legends Rider Series look for World War II Ultimates Captain America with motorcycle. For fans of the Premium Role Play line, look for a new Ant-Man helmet which will feature 2 LED light modes and will have an adjustable fit option. There is also another Deadpool Nerf blaster coming to Gamestop which will be done in grey X-Force colors. Besides the normal Marvel Legends waves, their will be several sub-lines released this year. Continuing in the tradition of last year's Toy Biz tribute wave to the classic 5" figures, they will now do a tribute wave for the classic Toy Biz 5" X-Men figures as well. This wave will include 6 figures, 4 of which were revealed this past weekend. Those where Cyclops in blue and white X-Factor outfit and optic blast effect, Patch (Wolverine), Silver Samurai and Dazzler in 90's blue outfit. These will come in special cardbacks re-creating the packaging from the old Toy Biz line. There will also be an extension for last year's MCU 10th Anniversary line. Same thing minus the 10th Anniversary logo since it would now be the 11th Anniversary. This will feature Captain America: The First Avenger Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter which will see release as a Amazon exclusive. Avengers: Infinity War Loki and Corvus Glaive which will be released as a Walmart exclusive. Then for General release we will see Avengers: Infinity War Iron Man Mark 50 with floating cannons, shield and arm cannons, along Iron Spider-Man with mechanical arms. For Thor Ragnarok look for 2-Packs of an updated Hela with Scourge and Grandmaster with Korg. Finally for Ant-Man and the Wasp look for a 2-pack featuring The Ghost and Louis (Michael Pena) with shrunk down Pym building. The final sub-line for the year will be celebrating 80 years of Marvel comics and feature 2-Packs of 1st Appearance Wolverine with Hulk and Juggernaut with Jim Lee style Colossus. Juggernaut will come with an alternate beat up face headsculpt and cracked helmet. Single packs for this lines will include Alex Ross versions of Iron Man, Thor and Captain America with sculpted chainmail. Cap will be released as a Walmart exclusive. These will come in special packaging featuring comic book artwork on it. If that all wasn't enough, a few additional store exclusives have been announced which includes an Amazon exclusive Brotherhood of Evil Mutants 3-pack featuring Magneto, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch. This is currently available for pre-order with a release date of 7/1/19 listed. For Walgreens we will see the Infamous Iron Man (Dr. Doom) and Emma Frost in black outfit released later this year. So that's it for now. We still have no word on what this years San Diego Comic Con exclusive will be or if Hasbro will do anything for Haslab. There is also a number of additional reveals that will come during SDCC and other conventions towards the end of the year. Is you wallet ready and what are you looking most forward to? Let us know in the COMMENTS SECTION. Check out our complete GALLERY of images for all the products Hasbro had out on display during Toy Fair below.
  7. Another store exclusive just slipped and this time was the long time rumored 3-pack featuring Magneto, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch in their classic uniforms. This was first teased by hasbro a while back when they have showed an unpainted Pietro head and Magneto's helmet. This pack will cost $59.99 and is available now for pre-order on Amazon. Figures will come with several accessories, like running hands for Quicksilver, magnetic effects, alternated head for Magneto and some hex effects for Wanda. Nothing really new, but it is always nice when Hasbro includes these.
  8. This two pack features Spider-Man and Kraven as they battle much like in the Kraven's Last Hunt storyline. Unwittingly bonded with an alien symbiote, Spider-Man has the enhanced strength and abilities he needs to take on his deadly enemy, Kraven the Hunter. These 6-inch Spider-Man and Kraven figures are highly articulated and feature comic-inspired designs, making them another worthy addition to the Marvel Legends Series. This Marvel Legends Series action figure 2-pack includes Spider-Man-inspired alternate head and hands and Kraven-inspired belt and rifle accessories. They are up for pre-order now on the Target website and are slated to be released in end of April.
  9. erivera94 takes a look at the new Marvel Legends Kingpin Build-A-Figure which is part of Hasbro's newest Spider-Man themed wave. The figures in the wave include Red Goblin, Modern Symbiote Spider-Man, Silver Sable, Puma, Modern Black Cat, Night Thrasher and 6-Arm Spider-Man which is the one figure in the wave with no BAF piece. You can purchase this wave from BigBadToyStore.com. Check out images for this figure below in our GALLERY and let us know what you think about it in the COMMENTS SECTION.
  10. Rumors have been circulating for weeks thanks to some listing leaks via Amazon for a new sub line of 6" Marvel Legends figures from Hasbro celebrating Marvel Comics 80th Anniversary. This new teaser image has hit the net pretty much confirming those rumors and giving us out first look at the 1st Appearance Wolverine and Hulk 2-Pack. Also shown are Captain America, Alex Ross Iron Man and Thor figures. Other rumored sets include the likes of Juggernaut Vs Colossus and Captain American with Peggy Carter. Stay-tuned for more details on these to be revealed possibly later today or tomorrow at 1:30PM ET when Hasbro coverage of the New York Toy Fair officially begins. The image is from Hasbro's Investor Event at 2019 Toy Fair report.
  11. So Hasbro was sneaky and slipped one right under our noses. Without any notice whatsoever this Marvel Legends 2-pack figure exclusive to Target stores just went for pre-order. It features Tom Holland's Spidey with his yellow hoodie jacket and some interchangeable hands and his friend MJ (as in Michelle Jones) that also has some accessories including an alternate head. It will run you $39,99 and says it will become available at the end of April. So while we wait for Far from Home figures, I guess that we can make it up with this. So what do you think? The quality of the images is not very good because I have to take them from Instagram and btw, I would like to acknowledge xmanny87 for the heads up.
  12. Hello guys! I made a pre order of Beast And Gambit on Amazon, but the release date there is July 1st, when on BBTS and Hasbro Pulse the release date is May 1st. Do you know why the dates are different and which is wrong?
  13. Hey all , I just recently started looking into weapons and accessories for ML and came across a few things (Marauder 1:12th) and some ebay members. But where do you go for your armory and wardrobe for figures? If you DIY please share some ideas!
  14. Hello fellows! I live in Italy , Milan, and want to ask you where you usually buy action figures. In my case, the most common platform is Amazon, because there are no so many retailers in my city. If you live outside of the USA this topic can be useful for collectors. Now I’m looking forward to start buying from BigBadToyStore because it’s saving money in case you buy a bunch of figures.
  15. Bellow a gallery of all Marvel Legends reveals from today's event
  16. Should they make a new Baron Zemo inspired by Avengers Under Siege. The last Baron Zemo was so long ago. They could make an 80th anniversary two pack with Zemo and Kang because they are classic avengers villains. They could also make a vintage collection Zemo. A new Helmut Zemo figure would be nice.
  17. What are you all looking forward to or hoping for in the near future for ML? For me, I would like to see more experimentation for one. Butterfly joints on figures of all sizes, double elbow joints on female figures. The introduction of cloth capes like the Star Wars Black Series. I'm aware that these might be some costly changes but I think this line could go very far. I have a list of characters I want done and some that I feel should be revisited. Daken on the new Bullseye body (same treatment as other wolverine figures alt hands and head) Venom on the Omega Red body (one classic head and one monstrous head) Robbie Reyes Ghost Rider (normal head and rider head and his bladed weapons) Sentry on an entirely new body (with butterfly joints and better proportions) These are just some examples but I would love to hear what you all would like to see moving forward!
  18. Hey Marvel Community! I want to build a classic Avengers display that includes Mezco's Ironman and Captain America and SH Figuarts Infinity War Hulk. Just wondering if you guys know any classic Thor w/ Mjolnir that can fit into this idea?
  19. So I was thinking about the Marvel Legends "army builder" two packs and came up with a few I would like to see and wanted to see what you guys come up with. Here are some more obvious ones. - Hellfire Club soldiers. - Purifiers Then here are some more obscure ones perhaps. - Ultron army - Prime Sentinels Would love to hear other ideas!
