1. hey guys I'm new here but I've actually been reading these forums and watching you tubers reviews for about a year now got into action figure collecting through comics mostly and i was drawn to marvel legends i got my first wave of figures with the recently released space venom wave but i have other 3.75 figures that i bought randomly (which now 3.75 figures suck and are more expensive so..) i was wondering what figures you guys would recommend for a newbie to figures in general but mainly marvel legends? I'm kinda on a tight budget (I'm only 14) so i can't go out and buy too many figures cus i know how expensive the old ones can be. , thanks guys!
2. Some of you may have been online looking for the new 2016 X-Men Deadpool. If you've been to Ebay then you may have notice series 6 ones popping up for under $40. If you have been curious about them or if it's an affordable alternative to the authentic one that runs way over $100, check out this video review I did covering this figure. Checkout other videos too. CLICK HERE FOR VIDEO ---> https://youtu.be/bxQZrXVEVg4
3. Hi Marvel Legends Fans and those following this discussion from Hasbro Few years ago, at one of the comic conventions, Hasbro displayed action figures which included The Hood and Lady Bullseye Since then, the company hasn't announced if the said action figures will make it to the shelves of toy stores and collectible shops (online and offline) Instead what we see are fan polls hosted by Hasbro where we find either repetitive characters getting their action figures for the 10th time or very lousy characters whose action figs most of us don't need Besides downgrading the quality of action figures, Hasbro is focusing more on Cinematic Universe fan base. Totally ignoring those who wait and wait and wait for action figures from stories that remain popular to this day such as Secret Invasion, Dark Reign, famous Marvel Crime Bosses, the list goes on and on For starters, can Hasbro start with releasing The Hood's action figure? I mean they already have released figs of The Wrecking Crew, Madame Masque and Tiger Shark from his Syndicate; why not the leader himself?

Mary Jane

I wanted to make a Mary Jane that was slimmer than the other females bodies so I used a diamond select Buffy figure and a casted medusa head, and black cat hair. I did up her bust area a bit. I'm tryin to find the right head to use for a Gwen Stacy so if anyone has any suggestions Id appreciate them
7. Bought this beautiful custom maverick, and put him in a red skull package, and put a maverick comic behind him, love it so much I wanted to share it
8. Every time Hasbro announces upcoming series of Marvel Legends, I hope that The Hood is part of it. Since 2012, they have been releasing a lot of villains but some of them are B-grades. We only have action figures of The Wrecking Crew, Madame Masque and Tiger Shark who work as members of The Crime Syndicate. Why not The Hood (Parker Robbins)?
9. I have the 6" Loki from The Avengers that for some reason was a Walmart exclusive ($60 on eBay, because Loki's my favorite), and I'd really like a 6" movie Thor to match. I don't really want to spend a lot on the Walmart-exclusive Thor, though, especially because I prefer his later armor to what he has in his first two movies, so I've been hoping Avengers: Age of Ultron would mean a new Marvel Legends 6" Thor for a reasonable price. If I'm understanding right, though, it sounds like the only 6" Thor that will come out of the new movie is part of an Amazon-exclusive 4-pack, which of course will also be expensive. Am I missing anything, or are those two the only options so far for a 6" movie Thor figure? (A nice 7" Thor came out with Thor: The Dark World, but obviously that's not the same size as my Loki figure.)
10. Does anyone know how to fix the Marvel Legends Bucky Cap or 2015 Hawkeye hips? Both Hawkeye and Bucky Cap share the same mold. I got Hawkeye just yesterday and the peg that goes through his groin and attaches to his legs is loose and jiggles. It came like this out of the box and a lot of other people have the same problem with this mold. If anyone has a solution it would be a huge help!
11. After seeing the hair on the ultimate spiderwoman I knew right away I wanted it for Ms. Marvel to give her a more dynamic look when posing her. I took the hair off of a spare ultimate spiderwoman off and fit it to Ms. Marvel added a little sculpt to the sides and repainted the hair and the face a bit. I liked the way it turned out what do you guys think was it worth scalping spiderwoman.
12. Does anyone else have problems with the clips on Marvel Legends Captain America shields breaking.I've had this problem time and time again. Not just clips, straps too. I've contacted Hasbro multiple times as well as sending the figures back, hoping to get a replacement. However, they just send back some random figure I don't even want.Does anyone have any ideas on how to prevent this or how to fix it.The best I've been able to do is glue the clip piece back on,but it usually breaks again when I try to put it on the "thin" part of the wrist. The only time it didn't happen was with my marvel now cap,and the paint on that one is scratching off.Let me know if you have any thoughts.Thanks.
13. Some of the newer legends are starting to pop up on eBay now. I'm hoping the shield 3 pack will be easier to come by at TRU than the xmen legends that I never even got to see on shelf
14. Hi there! I am new here, just getting back into collecting again, and I have a question about variants (Particularly in Marvel Legends). I am aware that there are variants through out the Marvel Legends series (Such as Stealth Armour Iron Man in Series 1 to the very rare silver and yellow juggernaut in series 6), but I want to know about variant packaging. I realise there are at least 3 different packages for Stealth Armour Iron Man! One saying just 'Iron Man', another saying 'Stealth Armour Iron Man' and a third saying 'Stealth Armour Iron Man' but listed as being in series 3 (With a variety of figures listed on the back. Does anyone else know of other variant packaging like these? Certainly makes getting a whole series much harder apparently!

To see more, visit ---> http://www.mintconditioncustom.com/thor-dark-world-poseable-cape-custom-action-figure To see exclusive WIP pics and more, check out the video ---> The Marvel Select Thor Dark World figure is cool, but I wanted to give him a better looking cloth poseable cape. I made my own pattern for it, carefully measured of course, and cut it out in this really great red material that wasn't too heavy and looked nice for the scale. I used some hemming tape to wrap some bendy armature wire down each side of the cape so it could be poseable. To attach it, I cut off the cape clasps from the Thor figure, and dremelled a hole in each side. The cape was then threaded through, including the wire. I then hot glued it down to the shoulder pads, and carefully reattached the cape clasps. A little paint later to touch everything up, and now Thor is ready to fight with a much more regal looking poseable cape! Thanks for looking!
16. Watch out world because the Red Skull is out to take you over leading his HYDRA army! The Red Skull has always been one of Captain America's greatest foes and here I've created him in his classic green comic outfit using the body of a Legends AIM solider, head and lower arms of the trenchcoat Red Skull, and belt from a Cyborg DCU figure. His entire uniform is shaded green and I even created a removable cigarette that fits between his lips like he always sports in the comics. I added the neck collar from the original Red Skull to the AIM body as well as the holster, giving him a Luger to complete the look. More pics here: Classic Red Skull

This one was pretty time consuming, and I had my moments of self doubt, but I’m glad I pushed myself to finish it to showcase here. The torso is from an ML Bucky Cap, the legs are from a movie Winter Soldier, the arms are from a Punisher, the head is from an ML movie Blade, and the wings are from an X-Men Classics Archangel. I added goggles to the head and it was resculpted and reworked to look more like Anthony Mackie. The shirt pockets came from a NECA Hicks, I used styrene for the zipper, sculpted all the fabric wrinkles in Aves Apoxie Sculpt, and used the harness straps from a Survival Suit Bruce Wayne. The hands come from a movie Nick Fury figure. The back leg armor on Falcon is from an Ultimate Iron Man. The wings were the toughest part. I reshaped the Archangel wings some, and used lots of reference images to get the design right. All the detailing over the wings was done with styrene. Very time consuming. Very frustrating. But something I felt was important to do to get Falcon right. Of course everything was painted accurately to the movie, down to the camo pattern on the pants. Last thing to do was to give him some pistols and a flight stand. And now Falcon is ready to fight alongside Cap to take down Hydra! Thanks for looking!

This custom is currently on eBay ---> http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?icep_ff3=2&pub=5575003513&toolid=10001&campid=5337381499&customid=&icep_item=161287990108&ipn=psmain&icep_vectorid=229466&kwid=902099&mtid=824&kw=lg To see more, visit ---> http://www.mintconditioncustom.com/custom-agent-phil-coulson His name is not "Agent". He is Agent Phil Coulson. It's terrible that he never got the Marvel Legends treatment, so I decided to make one myself. I wanted to be as accurate as possible with this. The body is a Movie Masters Alfred with the arms and legs from a Marvel Legends Professor Xavier spliced on for the double joints (with minimal sculpting to blend the legs), and the head is a shrunken down cast of the Hot Toys Agent Coulson head from fellow toy enthusiast Ross Barrow. Using this cast ensured that the likeness to Clark Gregg would be as perfect as you can get. I printed out a Coulson S.H.I.E.L.D. name badge at hi-res and laminated it for a full "Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D." effect. I gave him a removable bluetooth earpiece, removable sunglasses, glock pistol, walkie talkie, set of 8 "vintage" Captain America trading cards (courtesty of John Mallamas AKA Jin Saotome), and the Destroyer Gun he uses against Loki in The Avengers. It's a mix of several fodder gun pieces, made to look just like it jumped off the screen, complete with an illuminated effect in the barrel to make it look like it's ready to blast! And now Agent Coulson is ready show that he doesn't lack conviction to any threat S.H.I.E.L.D. faces! Thanks for looking!
20. This custom is currently on eBay ---> http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?icep_ff3=2&pub=5575003513&toolid=10001&campid=5337381499&customid=&icep_item=161278397580&ipn=psmain&icep_vectorid=229466&kwid=902099&mtid=824&kw=lg To see more, visit ---> http://www.mintconditioncustom.com/custom-winter-soldier-movie/ I dig the movie Winter Soldier figure from Hasbro, but felt it could have been improved upon. So I took the masked head that came with the figure and sliced the mask and goggles off, dremeled out the back a lot, cut the goggles off and separated them from the mask, and now you can slip them on and off the unmasked head very easily. They tuck in under his hair, so it holds great. I also removed the eye paint on the unmasked head, added some stubble to the face, and a black wash to his hair. So now there’s four different looks the figure can have. I repainted his torso area black, and then dry brushed a bit of leather over it, which is much more movie accurate than it was before. I also did a general weathering job over the whole figure to make it look more realistic. I attached a knife from a NECA Dutch figure that can be removed easily on the back of the belt. The finishing touch was equiping him with weapons he used in the movie. I gave him a rifle similar to one he used in the film, and also cobbled together a gun that looked like the one in the movie that launched that “magnetic disc bomb” in his initial scene. Now Winter Soldier is ready to take down Cap! Thanks for looking!
21. The base is one of the original ML Hydra troopers- once the new one came out I didn't have much use for the old troop builders- so the two I had donated their bodies to Red Skull and the Baron. Red skull was just a head swap and he had his classic look back. Baron took a little more work... I first wanted to use the baron head from the older Toybiz ML figure but it was too small for the body- i also didn't want to just put it on a new Hydra trooper because I think the Baron should stand out from the troops with his own look... But since I really wasn;t fond of the olf Baron ML figure anyways- I made a quick modern version with the left over Red Skull body... Arnim Zola got a minor update as well- I removed the 'cartoon' face he had and replaced it with a photograph of an action figure so it would not look out of place with the rest of the toys. something bout having his face 'drawn' onto his screen just wasn't working for me. Anyways- there is my new, mostly custom Hydra forces
22. This custom is currently on eBay ---> http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5575003513&toolid=10001&campid=5337381499&customid=&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2F161204509192%3FssPageName%3DSTRK%3AMESELX%3AIT%26_trksid%3Dp3984.m1555.l2649 To see more, visit ---> http://www.mintconditioncustom.com/custom-amazing-spider-man-2/ The articulation on the Marvel Legends Amazing Spider-Man 2 figure is great, though the paint job was lacking. I’ve given the figure a full repaint, and made it much more vibrant than before (especially the blue areas) with deep shading and bright highlights. I even outlined all the webbing on his suit to help it stand out more. I also embedded some Rare Earth magnets in his feet so he can stick to most metal surfaces. I took the Andrew Garfield Peter Parker head from the first movie figure and dremeled it to fit the new figure, gave him a web line, and gave a weathered repaint to the Young Justice Red Arrow rooftop display, and now Spidey is ready to take down Electro, Rhino, and anyone else who threatens New York! Thanks for looking!
