  12. As you likely know, Hasbro just recently gave us a 6" Marvel Legends version of the Crimson Dynamo which is the Build-A-Figure for the new Black Widow themed wave. Crimson Dynamo is one of those characters that has had a number of different looks over the years. The Hasbro one is based on the Gennady Gavrilov as the eighth Crimson Dynamo as seen in the pages of Marvel Comics. The figure overall seems to do a decent job of capturing the look of that particular version, but honestly I can't say its one of my favorites. I won't pretend I speak for everyone, but personally I would have much rather seen Hasbro give us the Dmitri Bukharin as the fifth Crimson Dynamo armor. After all that is the version they gave us several years ago for their 3.75" line. To demonstrate my point of how cool a 6" Marvel Legends figure of the Dimitri armor would look, I present you with a look at this awesome custom figure done by Matchu. He says the figure was made using an Omega Red figure exclusively. He did a ton of sculpting on this guy. Apoxie Sculpt was his goto medium for the project. The majority of the torso was sculpted over. The upper thighs were removed from the torso and detailed with lines, as were the feet. The head was done in multiple layers to ensure he didn’t loose the shape of the face, which is something he says he generally does and then struggles to fix. The only thing not done with Apoxie Sculpt was the tubing around the top of the hip swivel and knees, which were done with Procreate, simply because found it easier to handle and maintain the proper roundness of the piping. To make the shoulder pads, he glued some heavy plastic over the shoulders so he could build up the shoulder pads over the butterfly joints, without loosing the articulation of them. Once the glue dried, he started building up the shoulder pads in layers. When he had a good base built up, he sanded it smooth and level, and applied one final, thin coat of Apoxie Sculpt to them. He then pressed pieces of kebob skewers into the wet apoxie. Once they were all placed, he brushed them liberally with super glue to give them some strength. He then brushed them with liquid green stuff by citadel, which kinda acts like a wood filler. After they dried, he gave them a good sand and repeated. He did this same process for both the gauntlets (which started as paint pots from the dollar store) and the boots (which were made of PVC piping). The paint job for this one was super simple in theory, but it was his first time using the very wonderful Turbo Dork metallic paints, so he did multiple test pieces to figure out exactly what worked best. He used Turbo Dork Redrum as the base of the entire figure. He planned on doing some shading using a metallic orange, a silver, black, etc. He says he probably tried 7 or 8 different combos of colors, but in the end, the Redrum base on its own looked so so good. Because of they he decided to leave the shading alone. Instead, he hit the shoulder pads, gauntlets, boots and helmet with a multiple coats of clear red. The look of this was SO subtle, that he don’t think anyone would noticed it. It definitely does not show up in the pictures, but in hand, to him anyways, he could see it. Check out more images for this custom below and let us know what your favorite version of Dynamo is in the COMMENTS SECTION.

  17. Jtprime sends us a heads up for new Marvel Legends listings that have surfaced on the Everestwholesale website. Keep in mind most the names listed are code names, not the names of the actual characters, and of course these have not yet been confirmed by Hasbro. So they could be subject to change. Fan Channel Exclusives: Marvel Legends Eternals Villian Deluxe Figure F05755L0 EAN:5010993749713 Marvel Legends Vintage F4 Redeco E96275L0 (Our best guess is this will be the Dr. Doom figure in white we had previously seen rumors for) Marvel Legends BAF Toxin E96295L0 EAN: 5010993722068 Eternals Wave: Marvel Legends Eternals Figure "1" E95255X0 EAN: 5010993720613 Marvel Legends Eternals Figure "2" E95265X0 EAN: 5010993720590 Marvel Legends Eternals Figure "3" F05515X0 EAN: 5010993743582 Marvel Legends Eternals Figure "4" E95295X0 EAN: 5010993720583 Marvel Legends Eternals Figure "5" E95305X0 EAN: 5010993720606 Marvel Legends Eternals Figure "6" E95325X0 EAN: 5010993720620 Marvel Legends Eternals Figure " 7" E95355X0 EAN: 5010993720545 Venom Wave: Marvel Legends Venom "Cornrows" E93415X0 EAN: 5010993736959 Marvel Legends Venom "Flattop" E93405X0 EAN: 5010993735501 Marvel Legends Venom "Mohawk" E93395X0 EAN: 5010993735518 Marvel Legends Venom "Ponytail" E93375X0 EAN: 5010993735549 Marvel Legends Venom "Fade" E93365X0 EAN: 5010993736003 Marvel Legends Venom "Bob" E93355X0 EAN: 5010993735525 Deadpool Wave: Marvel Legends Deapool "Blue" HBGE93105X0 EAN: 5010993697960 Marvel Legends Deapool "Goat" E93095X0 EAN: 5010993694884 Marvel Legends Deapool "Muenster" E93085X0 EAN: 5010993697083 Marvel Legends Deapool "Swiss" E93075X0 EAN: 5010993697090 Marvel Legends Deapool "Monterey" E93065X0 EAN: 5010993697106 Marvel Legends Deapool "Whey" E93055X0 EAN: 5010993694877 Marvel Legends Deapool "Provolone" E93045X0 EAN:5010993694860
  18. During Toy Fair it was officially announced that another classic Marvel villain was getting the Marvel Legends treatment with Hulk’s arch-nemesis The Leader. The Leader With that I thought it would be fun to create a list of 15 non-X-Men and Spider-Man based villains that would be cool to see made for Hasbro's Marvel Legends line. Of course I would love to hear your own thoughts about which villains you want to see made in the COMMENTS SECTION below. This list is done in alphabetic order. Attuma One of Namor’s arch-enemies but has been known to go toe-to-toe with the entire Avengers team. His Atlantean armor alone would make for a great looking figure. Diablo An evil alchemist and known enemy of the Fantastic Four, Diablo was originally created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby and we think is long overdue for the Marvel Legends treatment. Ghost We’ve gotten a more modern version and a female MCU version, but I would really like to see a figure done based on his original look from the Iron Man comics. Graviton The Avengers version of Magneto, this villain while never really gaining the notoriety Magneto has I always liked, especially in the pages of West Coast Avengers. Instead of magnetism he controls gravity and even appeared in the Agents of SHIELD tv series. High Evolutionary Not always depicted as a villain, but this is a must have figure for me. He’s gone against the likes of the Fantastic Four, Avengers and even the X-Men in the X-Men Animated Series. I’ve always liked the design of his armor and his power levels are off the charts. Jigsaw One of Punisher’s arch-enemies, this one actually got a Marvel Legends figure made during the Toy Biz days. That one featured the character wearing a Punisher style uniform, but I would love to see a figure made in his classic yellow outfit and have the neck brace. Kang Admittedly I wasn’t sure if I should put this one on the list. Both Toy Biz and Hasbro have given us versions of Kang, but being he is such a heavyweight caliber bad guy, I really think Hasbro should give us a nice updated version. Killer Shrike This is one that could fall under the category of being a Spider-Man villain, but he has gone up against others and was even a member of the Masters of Evil. He's not a major villain but always thought he was pretty cool. Mister Hyde This is one of those big dudes I think would make a perfect fit for a Deluxe offering. He has gone up against the likes of Daredevil, Spider-Man, Hulk, Captain America and many others so he will fit in well with a variety of other Marvel Legends figures on your shelf. Orka Another villain for Sub-Mariner who is also know going up against the likes of the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, She-Hulk, and the Defenders. This is another big character I think would make a great deluxe figure. Red Ghost Another classic Fantastic Four villain I would love to see made in figure form. If they could release him in a three pack with his super apes I think this would be a must have for many. Stilt Man Every time I do one of these Villain lists, Stilt Man always gets included. While not the most menacing villain in the Marvel Universe, I just think it would make a really cool action figure with his stilt like legs. Super Adaptoid This is another villain I personally would really love to see. He is a android that mimics the abilities of the heroes he fights. I would love to see a figure based on his classic look which mimics the abilities of the Avengers such as Captain America, Iron Man and Hawkeye. The Mandarin Toy Biz gave us a version back in the day but I think it’s high time Hasbro gave us a comic version of Iron Man’s arch-nemesis. Mandarin has had many different looks over the years but I prefer the green and yellow robe look myself. Wizard Another classic Fantastic Four villain which is hard to believe we have yet to get a Marvel Legends figure of. Hopefully with Hasbro doing more FF based figures recently, Wizard will soon be on the way.

  24. It seems many of those looking for the new Target exclusive Marvel Legends Red Hulk deluxe figure from Hasbro are having a bit of difficulty finding it on shelves. Most Target stores as I understand it put their limited stock of this figure out on shelves this past weekend when they reset their toy aisles, and of course they quickly sold out. I am told stores should be getting more of these figures in stock sooner or later, so if you haven't found it yet I would resort to secondary market prices just yet. The figure is currently listed on the Target website if you know where to look, which is HERE. It is not currently available for purchase online, but you can use the feature to check and see if your local store has it in stock. Keep in mind that feature however isn't always 100% accurate. If you want to go into the store and easily check to see if it's in stock, here are some numbers to help you out: DPCI: 087-16-1602 UPC: 5010993685813
