  2. Update: I like my idea of the Black Order better but as some have noted for the blacked out silhouettes the one on the right is more likely a Venom which would make the one on the left more likely Spider-Man. Probably the same Spider-Man that will be coming with the Buggy. On the Star Wars side we saw them do the same thing with Han and Chewbacca, releasing the figures on single card and with a vehicle. The new Disney Toybox catalog is out and with it is several new reveals for their Marvel line. Shown below via slowmotoys we can see images showing off an upcoming 2-pack featuring Hulkbuster Iron Man and Hulk as well as Spider-Man with his Spider-Buggy. We also get our first look at the upcoming Thanos figure as well as a grey hulk. The final 2 reveals are blacked-out so we can only guess what they are. Based on the silhouettes though I am thinking these might be based on Thanos' Black Order members. Cull Obsidian and Ebony Maw perhaps. If you aren't familiar with this line, they are 5" articulated figures put out by Disney and sold as Disney Store exclusives. The regular figures cost $12.95 each. We have no idea how much the two packs will be or if the Buggy is actually in scale with the figures since they have never done vehicles for this line before. The designs of the figures in this line are loosely based on the old Disney Infinity game and often the figures feature costumes similar to those worn in the movies. We don't have specific release dates but likely we will start seeing these all except for the blacked out ones hit Disney stores within the next month. The blacked out ones are done as teases for the next wave.

  6. Pint Size Heroes: Marvel Holiday Celebrate the holidays with adorably festive Pint Size Heroes including Squirrel Girl with a stocking, Spider-Man in an ugly sweater, Captain America as a snowman, Groot with tree lights, Rocket Raccoon with a snow sled and Thanos in an ugly sweater. Pop! Marvel: Holiday Groot might not have a large enough vocabulary to sing any traditional carols, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t filled with holiday spirit. The Guardians of the Galaxy member is taking a break from saving the universe to stand in for the traditional holiday tree. Spider-Man’s leaping onboard the ugly holiday sweater bandwagon while maintaining his Super Hero flair. He’s also taking a break from battling Super Villains to indulge in some eggnog, holiday shopping, office parties and caroling. Marvel’s Hulk is ready to smash the holidays. Judging by the beautiful wrapping on the presents he’s holding, the Hulk clearly has hidden talents. From office parties to white elephant gift exchanges to caroling, the holidays are just better with this Hulk Pop! If anyone knows how to party it’s Marvel’s merc with a mouth. Marvel’s Deadpool is taking a break from fighting Super Villains, though probably not from his snarky commentary, to celebrate the holidays. Wielding a pair of candy canes, the Deadpool Pop! is clearly eager to deck the halls. Check out images below and look for them to be released in the Fall.

  11. Marvel and Sony have decided to move in a new direction and it doesn't involve the 'Silver & Black' project, which revolve around Silver Sable, the boss of a war criminal bounty org, and burglar Black Cat. The studios have decided to split this project up into two separate movies with the first title will likely be Black Cat. With this change going forward, Gina Prince-Bythewood, the writer and director of Silver & Black is expected to depart, but still produce the separate films. Another female director will be hired with Prince-Bythewood leaves. Sony has access to 900 Marvel characters, and its intent is to grow into more franchises.
