  1. "You can't fix it ? UPGRADE IT !" These, were the words I had in mind after spending multiple hours trying to fix this old boy, unfortunately, it turned out being impossible... So, as an artist, I thought it was time for me to start something new, custom figures ! Ladies and gentlemen, let introduce you the cyborg Hobgoblin (1.7 version) ! The first step was (obviously) to make a new arm, by using some metal elements, I managed to build an arm with the same articulations as the original one ! The only difference is the elbow, not having a double articulation, but, bending at about 135 degrees which is definitely an improvement over the original arm ! For the hand, I reused the original one, I just had to remove the pumpkin bomb (which was super easy !). Later on, I decided to modify the wrist connection so that the hand can be easly removable, this little feature can act as a launching fist attack. One con I had with this figure is the satchel, the mold used doesn't looks good in my opinion because of the angle between the satchel and the lanner (being flat) I solved this con by cutting the lanner off and fixing it back with an articulation. Then, pilot goggles. Why ? Why not ?! Because this figure is pretty old, the knees articulations are wobbly, but I succeed to replace the pins and make the knees stronger. Even more cyborg I guess ^^ And now it's time for some accessories ! The first accessory I made for my cyborg is a katana, made from a nail with a scabbard made out of wood. I feel like this weapon is a little short compared to the figure but it looks nice so I don't really mind. Last but not least, I built a detonator to go with the pumpkin bomb. So, this it ! I hope you liked it, if you do have any feedback or suggestion, do not hesitate to comment this post (p.s. I already planned to work on the glider next). If you don't want to miss any update about this figure, do not hesitate to follow me on instagram at Cocoandpals. Thank you if you rode this post until the end and have a nice day.
