Francis writes in to let us know that he found the new Marvel Legends X-Men Storm And Thunderbird 2-Pack from Hasbro at his local Toys R' Us store in Canada. The cost was $69.99 and the SKU# is 479702. For those of us in the United States this set is being sold as a Target store exclusive and is currently listed with an October 4 release date, though I wouldn't be surprised if it starts hitting physical store shelves a bit sooner than that. Following our story from the other week, it looks like Toys R' Us is already poised for making a comeback here in the United States after just a few months ago declaring bankruptcy and closing all their US based stores. So last week we told you how it looked as if the Toys R' Us controlling lenders had a last minute change of heart about selling off all the companies assets because they decided the brand was just two valuable. According to a report by the WSJ it looks like Toys R' Us' controlling lenders have had a change of heart and decided to revive the Toys ‘R’ Us and Babies ‘R’ Us names in the United States with retail stores. Apparently at the last minute someone decided the brand was just to valuable to kill off. There aren't a lot of specific details at this time, but if you thought you were going to have to grow up after all 735 stores in the US closed a few months ago, I guess you were wrong. Stay-tuned for more details on this as they become available. -
The beloved Toys“R”Us mascot, Geoffrey the Giraffe is taking a break from the toy industry to give the Super Hero business a shot. The Geoffrey as Iron Man Pop! is a FanExpo Canada exclusive, which will be shared with Funko Shop and Toys”R”Us Canada! There’s no word yet on whether Geoffrey will officially be offered a place with the Avengers.

Has anyone else received an email from TRU saying their order has been processed then another saying it can't be filled? I'm pretty much raging mad because I don't deal with scalpers so basically they screwed me and I'll never get the 2 I preordered.
