Shown below via troycollectstoys are in-hand images for the new 6" Marvel Legends Classic Richard Rider Nova figure with Qubit from Hasbro. This figure out of the blue apparently is already dropping at EBGames stores in Canada. Here in the US the figure will be sold as a Walgreens exclusive, but no word on when it might start showing up, though I expect soon. The next figure slated for release in this cosmic themed Walgreens/EBGames line is Quasar which is supped to be released in late spring. Check out the in-hand Nova images below and happy hunting.

Earlier this week we got our first look at the first merchandise being done for the upcoming Disney+ Falcon and the Winter Soldier series with Hasbro's Marvel Legends prop replica Captain America shield. Well now thanks to MCUCollector and vintage.man02 we have a look at new Walgreens exclusive Marvel Minimates based on the upcoming show. These apparently were actual found on shelf even though Diamond Select Toys has yet to officially announce them. There are two 2-pack which feature Falcon with Baron Zemo and Winter Soldier with USAgent. Now here is where the minor SPOILER comes in. The USAgent figure is actually labeled as Captain America . This seemingly confirms the rumors that in the Disney+ series will see John Walker AKA USagent, at least temporarily take over the mantle of Captain America. This isn't terribly surprising if you are familiar with Walker's story from the comics. In the comics the US Government for a time stripped Steve Rogers of the Captain America title because they felt they couldn't control him and gave it to Walker. Eventually Rogers regained the Captain America mantle and Walker became USAgent. At the end of Avengers Endgame, we saw an old Rogers hand the Captain America mantle over to Sam Wilson, so likely the Government will strip him of the mantle and give it to Walker. Again, at least for a while. This likely explains why Walker's costume is blue as opposed to black. Hopefully when Walker actually becomes USAgent, which we are confident he will, they will change the color of his costume from blue to black. With Minimates based on the series already hitting shelves, could Marvel Legends figures be far behind????

Shown below via Troycollectstoys are in-hand images for the new 6" Marvel Legends Silver Surfer (Fallen One) figure from Hasbro. The figure has started arriving at EBGames in Canada for those who pre-ordered the figure. In Canada the figure is an EBGames exclusive. Here in the US the figure will be released as a Walgreens exclusive, however Walgreens at this time has not made it available for pre-order and no word yet on when it will see release. The SKU# is 758028. The figure is based on "The Fallen One" storyline from the comics. Its a repaint of the previous Silver Surfer Hasbro released a few years ago with a darker metallic silver paint, surf board and also includes a blast effect and Mjolnir which is from the storyline.

Walgreens stores have long been the home for exclusive Marvel Minimates based on Marvel’s many animated television shows. Now, two new adversarial two-packs have hit the shelves, comprising Series 12 of the long-running series! From Marvel’s Spider-Man, Miles Morales (a.k.a. Spy-D) takes on the Prowler, and comes with a removable mask, interchangeable web-slinging hands, a web line and two display stands. From Marvel’s Avengers, Iron Man faces off with the Ghost, and includes a removable helmet, removable hair piece, flight stand, and two display stands. Each two-inch mini-figure features 14 points of articulation, and is fully interchangeable, for endless customization. Look for them in the toy line at your local Walgreens store, and find a store at Walgreens.com!

The Avengers video game from Square Enix is out now, and fans everywhere are immersing themselves in its epic storyline. But what do they do when they’re not playing the game? They play with Minimates! The 2-inch mini-figure line has a new assortment available at Walgreens stores, and they’re based on the Avengers team’s new Gamerverse looks! Two 2-packs are available, featuring Iron Man with Hulk and Black Widow with Captain America. Iron Man includes a removable helmet and interchangeable hairpiece, plus a flight stand. Captain America includes his trusty shield and a removable helmet with alternate hairpiece, while Black Widow has two batons and two pistols. Each 2-inch mini-figure features 14 points of articulation, for a variety of action poses, and parts are fully interchangeable for endless customization.

If you missed out on securing your pre-order last month for the upcoming Marvel Legends 6" Walgreens exclusive Iron Man 2020 figure, it's available again on their website. They list the figure with a May 31 release date.

FunkoPopHunters has uncovered what appears to be a number of upcoming Marvel based Pop! vinyl figures coming exclusively to Walgreens To me the most interesting listing is for Iron Hammer which is a real thing. MCGeeks also gives us a first look at the upcoming Cosmic Spider-Man Pop! which is also rumored to be a Walgreens exclusive here in the US.

The highly anticipated Captain Marvel movie is almost here, and Marvel mania is at an all-time high! So what better time to launch the Captain Marvel Minimates line, with an exclusive assortment of two-packs at Walgreens stores nationwide! Marvel Movie Minimates Captain Marvel assortment soars into Walgreens on Jan. 15, with four different two-packs, all of them exclusive to Walgreens stores! Captain Marvel herself comes packed with the Kree Starforce member Bron Char, while Marvel in her Starforce uniform comes with Starforce member Korath (first seen in Guardians of the Galaxy). SHIELD Agent Phil Coulson will come in a two-pack with Starforce member Yon Rogg, while his fellow SHIELD Agent Nick Fury will come in a two-pack with Kree of ficer Ronan (also seen in Guardians of the Galaxy). Each Minimates mini-figure measures approximately 2 inches tall with 14 points of articulation and fully interchangeable parts. All Starforce helmets are removable, with alternate hairpieces where applicable. Later this spring, at comic shops, collectors will be able to round out their collection with a box set featuring four exclusive figures -- Captain Marvel in Flight Jacket, Nuro the Skrull, and Minn-Erva and Att-Lass of the Kree Starforce.

Walgreens stores have long been the place to find exclusive Marvel Minimates assortments based on Marvel’s various animated series and movies. Now, Walgreens is the place to find an exclusive assortment of Minimates based on Marvel Comics! In stores now, the first comic-based assortment to be offered at Walgreens features the Avengers of 1,000,000 B.C.! Each two-pack features at least one member of the prehistoric superteam, and all are exclusively at Walgreens stores. The assortment includes: - Phoenix with Agamotto, with alternate flame hair, flame-hands and fiery base for Phoenix and spell-casting hands for Agamotto. - Odin with Iron Fist, with the hammer Mjolnir for Odin and flame-hand accessories for Iron Fist. - Black Panther with Starbrand - Ghost Rider with the Fallen, with flame-hands for Ghost Rider. Each Minimates mini-figure features 14 points of articulation and fully interchangeable parts, and comes with a clear display stand for advanced posing. During San Diego Comic Con Hasbro released a teaser image that indicated they would soon be releasing a new 6" X-Men Marvel Legends Mystique figure. See the teaser image below that Hasbro showed which features Mystique's iconic skull belt. Now thanks to some detective works from MarvelousNews reader Matt, we have indications that the Mystique figure Hasbro was teasing will end up being released as a Walgreens exclusive. He let us know that he discovered that the Walgreens Item Code #997005 lists several figures in the system which includes Silver Surfer, Thing and Mystique. We called our local Walgreens and got similar information about the item code Matt gave us. Our local store also told us that they had an open order referring specially to the Silver Surfer and that it should be in on August 23. So based on this info as well as knowing from SDCC that the upcoming Magik figure will be released as a Walgreens exclusive, it looks like Walgreens will either be shifting from Fantastic Four to X-Men exclusives, or perhaps maybe adding since we are still hopeful they will end up releasing a Marvel Legends Dr. Doom and Super Skrull figure to their Fantastic Four line. Perhaps we will get more details about Mystique later today during the Unboxing Toy Convention where Hasbro will be on hand and will likely debut 3-4 new Marvel Legends figures there.
