  1. While not yet officially revealed by Hasbro, their second wave of 3.75" Marvel Legends Retro figures have started to see release along with wave 1 figures at Target stores in CA. The wave includes news figures of Elektra, Iceman and Daredevil along with Black Panther, Classic Iron Man and Electro. The latter 3 figures had been previously released last year as part of the HasbroPulse exclusive 2-packs. You can check out images of the figures below via MCUCollector. Each figure is $9.99. Starting sometime next month the figures should be available everywhere, but for now Target is the place to look for them if you want to add these to your collection.
  2. Last year you may recall Hasbro released as Pulse exclusives some Retro 3.75" Marvel Legends that were based on the concept of "What If" Kenner had done Marvel figures back in the day. The figures themselves have around 5 points of articulation and they come on Retro like cardbacks. Well now Hasbro is releasing more as single carded figures at regular retail. Well they will start off at Target stores in March and then see a more general release in April. Each figure costs $9.99. The figures shown below include Hulk, Human Torch, Captain Marvel, Spider-Man, Captain America and Magento.
  3. Hasbro today via Gamespot has announced a new line of 3.75" figures Hasbro is releasing under the Marvel Legends banner. These are Kenner like figures that they will be releasing in Marvel Comic Presents box--designed to look like an issue of the long-running comic book series. Two figures come in each pack, retailing for $20. The figures like the old Mattel Secret Wars line will have minimal articulation. They are doing 2-Pack with Captain America/Black Panther, Iron man/Cyclops and Spider-Man/Electro. Look for these to be released in the Fall. The figures will be going up for pre-order online on September 25 at 5 pm EST.
  4. Hasbro continues to eek out 3.75" Marvel Universe figures which now under the Marvel Legends Gamerverse banner with video game based figure 2-Packs. This set is based on the Contest Of Champions phone app game featuring Civil Warrior and The Collector. The Collector is a re-issue of the one they did a couple years ago for one of their SDCC exclusive boxsets with some very minor paint variations. The Collector does not come with any accessories and has the rubber joint syndrome that many Hasbro 3.75" figures these days suffer from. Civil Warrior is a new figure and is based on an alternate universe version of Captain America who wears an armor. The figure comes with a Captain America shield with a hole in the middle so you can connect a translucent blue blast effect piece. I guess in the game he can shoot a beam of energy from his shield. This doesn't work to well on the figure though because the blast effect piece is heavy enough that when you attach it to the shield it weighs down the figures arms pretty bad. I would recommend just setting that piece aside, however that does leave a big glaring hole on the shield. I personally got this set because I am a big Cap fan and wanted this variation of the character, and for that reason alone I guess I would say the set is worth getting. If you don't already have the previous SDCC version of The Collector then its a good figure minus the rubber joints. The headsculpt on that one is really good and definitely will make the set worth picking up. Check out our GALLERY of images for this set now as well as ShartimusPrime's own video review and take on the set below and then let us know what you think of the set in the COMMENTS SECTION. If you decide to pick this set up, you can get him now at our sponsor Megalopolis.Toys.
