  1. The Marvel Universe is in for a whole galaxy of trouble and help will come from some surprising new space heroes! Ushering in a brand new age of cosmic storytelling, Al Ewing will introduce a brand-new lineup of Guardians of the Galaxy in April’s double-sized 175th issue, GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY #13. The team will consist of core members like Star-Lord, Rocket, and Gamora as well as some shocking new additions… DOCTOR DOOM and QUASAR! The galaxy no longer needs heroes. It needs super heroes! Now deputized by the Galactic Council, the Guardians need new members to tackle their deadliest threats yet. One of Marvel’s premiere cosmic crusaders, Wendell Vaughn the original Quasar, makes his long-awaited return to answer the call. But what could possibly cause the maniacal Doctor Doom to join their ranks? With spectacular art by Juan Frigeri (Ghost Rider), mastermind Al Ewing is ready to boldly take the Guardians where no Guardian has gone before! Get on board, True Believer – it’s going to be the ride of your life! "One of these things is not like the others, one of these things just doesn't belong. What's Doctor Doom doing here... and why? There's only one way to find out,” Ewing teased. For Earth, there are the Avengers. For everywhere else, there’s… THE GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY. 2. For Earth, there are the Avengers. For everywhere else, there’s the Guardians of the Galaxy. This April, writer Al Ewing teams up with artist Juan Frigeri for a new arc of his epic run on GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY. The double-sized milestone 175th issue, GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY #13, will introduce the book’s new lineup, reveal the Guardian’s bold new mission, and welcome readers to Marvel’s new space age! They were soldiers, misfits, mercenaries, thieves and a family. They were heroes… but times have changed. The galaxy no longer needs heroes. It needs super heroes! In the aftermath of their climatic battle with the Olympian gods, the Guardians of the Galaxy have been deputized by the Galactic Council. New adventures call for new teammates and the Guardians have expanded their roster like never before. Joining Star-Lord, Gamora, Rocket, and Groot will be Young Avengers Wiccan and Emperor Hulkling as well as some surprising new teammates yet to be revealed. Now, when the call goes forth – whether it’s from a stranded team of planetary explorers or Emperor Hulkling and his Kree/Skrull Alliance – the Guardians of the Galaxy answer! "GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, both the book and the team, are going to be stepping up a gear in 2021, with villains the team have never faced, guest stars you never thought you'd see, and a new teammate you can't even begin to believe - all coming together for a crisis that'll shake every planet in the Marvel universe down to the bedrock... maybe even a backwater planet like Earth,” Ewing promises. The New Age of Space is here. Get on board, True Believer – it’s going to be the ride of your life. GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY #13 Written by AL EWING Art by JUAN FRIGERI Cover by BRETT BOOTH

This January, the creative team that brought you Thanos will bring a new GUARDIANS OF GALAXY series to readers! “ and I have some INSANE plans for our first Guardians arc,” Cates told Marvel “This arc is called 'Endgame,' and as seen in Thanos Legacy, it begins with the reading of Thanos's last will and testament. An artifact that Thanos's brother Eros dug out of his late brother's heart, which very well may spell doom for the entire universe.” Who will survive the Infinity Wars to join the team?! Who will be chosen to be the newest members of the Guardians? The mystery is building! And in January, all will be revealed… Don’t miss the all new GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, debuting in 2019!
  7. In light of the recent firing of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 director James Gunn, Disney has opted to put production of the movie which was said to begin shortly on hold for now as they begin looking for a new replacement director. According to THR, this is being done more for regrouping purposes than anything else. The movie was slated for a 2020 release but an actual date had yet to be set by the studio, so it's unknown how much of a delay this regrouping will cause for the movie's actual release. Rumors have suggested that Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi is being strongly considered as Gunn's replacement. Gunn was fired last month for old inappropriate tweets he had made on Twitter several years ago in regards to rape and pedophilia that the director has claimed where just bad jokes. Despite an open letter put out by the cast of the movie asking Disney to reconsider their decision to fire Gunn, the studio recently stated they will be standing by their decision. All the cast have remained silent on the matter since then except for Dave Bautista (Drax), who has been shooting out tweets attacking his employer for the decision. In one tweet he posted "Thanks ⁦@Disney⁩ !! Making America great again" and more recently on Thursday he tagged Disney in a tweet featuring disturbing clips of Mike Cernovich, one of the conservative figures responsible for bringing the old tweets to light that got Gunn fired. Disney has had no comment in regards to the disgruntled actor at this point.

  9. I'm curious your thoughts on up coming Marvel Legends waves? If we are to use the 'process of elimination' what do you think are possibilities, potentialities and most definite reveals? For example 2014-2015 Is a Spider-man Fan's dream come true. What would be left for Spider-man? What are other Avengers they could do? The reason I am asking this as well is because I am curious to see how far they can go in these directions before we start getting more Cosmic figures, X Men Love, Thunderbolts and maybe even New Warriors, Young Avengers, New Mutants, Squadron Supreme and so forth.
