Ororo Munroe, aka Storm, is one of the most powerful mutants in history. She is a trusted and wise team-member of the X-Men, with the mutant ability to control weather patterns. Storm was raised as an orphan on the streets of Cairo where she learned survival skills as well as becoming a master thief. Storm had a long road from orphaned childhood pick-pocket to X-Man to eventually marring T’Challa and becoming the Queen of Wakanda! Storm is a natural born leader and in addition to being a Queen has also found herself the leader of The New Mutants, The Morlocks and the X-Men. Storm is the 20th release in our popular line of Marvel animated statues and this piece is based on the variant comic book cover art for STORM #1 by fan-favorite artist Skottie Young. The regal Storm is depicted using her powers to hover over her base with her signature white Mohawk and cape blowing in the breeze. Build up your expanding animated X-Men team by picking up this iconic Marvel character. The Storm Animated Statue was digitally sculpted and carefully printed on state of the art 3D Systems 3D printers. The high-resolution prints were then used in the creation of prototypes needed to produce this animated collectible. Each animated statue is hand-cast, hand-painted, and hand-numbered with a limited edition Certificate of Authenticity.

The latest entry in Kotobukiya’s Fine Art Statue line of high‐quality cold cast resin statues sculpted by Erick Sosa is the Omega Level Mutant and one of the most respected heroes amongst the X‐Men, Storm! Making her first appearance in Giant‐ Size X‐Men #1 and making history as one of the first female characters of African descent, the popular mutant has since appeared in a variety of X‐Men adaptations. Storm’s foes are helpless against her ability to harness the awe‐inspiring powers of nature. The statue’s dynamic composition portray Storm’s abilities to fly and control the weather to create powerful storms, as the scattered remains of a Sentinel swirl around her. The statue’s base shares the motif of the previously released Danger Room Session Statue, allowing you to expand this Danger Room themed diorama display along with your collection! I wanted to have a psylocke for my collection and i didnt really like the one that was released so i made my own using dagger as a base i removed the hair she came with and repainted her entirely and sculpted her hair so she would look like she did in marvel vs capcom then i made some energy blast for her to pose her with, and black started as a avengers assemble blackwidow (the longer haired one) i shaved down her hair, face, and body then lenghtened her legs a bit and sculpted her a new hairstyle. ive also been working vulture, doc ock, armor spiderman, as well as storm but they are yet to be finished.
