Disney’s Marvel Studios films and MCU Series won't be making an appearance at this year's San Diego Comic-Con, according to the latest report by Deadline. No information has been released if Sony's Marvel titles will be attending the event as well. This will be the third year that Warner Bros. will skip Comic-Con but Warner Bros. Television will have DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and the DC Publishing division will be participating at this year's San Diego Comic-Con@Home. Warner Bros. will have their DC Fandome again this September for the second year in a row. The live edition of San Diego Comic-Con will be November 26th-28th and the San Diego Comic-Con@Home runs July 23rd-25th. -
In a tale of what could have been, toy designer David Vonner who has previously worked at both Hasbro and Mattel recently revealed that years ago he purposed an idea of doing a Marvel, DC, Hasbro, Mattel SDCC collaboration where a action figure boxset would be created based on the classic 1982 Chris Claremont The Uncanny X-Men and The New Teen Titans comic book which was done as a cross-company publication between Marvel and DC Comics. Dave didn't specify which company he was working for when he purposed the idea or for what scale, 6" or 4". He said the idea was to do the boxset as a San Diego Comic Con exclusive with all proceeds going to charity. He said the idea was shot down without blinking an eye, so its probably safe to say there was never much of a chance for this becoming a reality. Still I think most collectors of both DC and Marvel figures would have been pretty excited if such a thing every materialized. What do you think, is this something you would have bought?

Yamaguchi Katuhisa has released these new preview images via his Twitter account the next two figures in Kaiyodo's Amazing Yamaguchi Revoltech line for both Marvel and DC. For DC following the release of their Batman figure will be a new Deathstroke and for Marvel comes another X-Men member with Psylocke.
