JTPrime is back again to let us know he has discovered some new retail listings for the following Marvel Legends Doctor Strange based replica items. The listings are as follows: MVL Legends Doctor strange Gear Eye Agamotto (Presumably MCU based) Product Number: F0221 MSRP: 69.99 Euros SPD Legends classic Gear (Possibly comic based) Product Number: F0201 MSRP: 134.99 Euros The first listing seems pretty obvious, as it will be a replica of Strange's Eye of Agamotto as seen in the movies. It will likely open to reveal the time stone and light up green. The second listing is less obvious and seems to cost more. I wonder if this will end up being a replica of Strange's cape? Only time will tell. Of course until Hasbro officially confirms these we will treat them as RUMOR.

Today during a virtual event Medicom gave us a look at their upcoming 6" Avengers: Infinity War Doctor Strange figure with soft-goods cape. No other details for the figure have been released at this time.

Deadline is reporting that The Baby-Sitters Club's Xochitl Gomez has joined the cast of Marvel's Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The second installment has Benedict Cumberbatch returning to reprise the title role with Sam Raimi taking over directing duties. Expected to return to reprise their roles from the original film are Benedict Wong and Chiwetel Ejiofor as fellow sorcerer Wong and Strange’s compatriot-turned-nemesis Karl Mordo. Elizabeth Olsen has been tapped to reprise her role as Scarlet Witch, aka Wanda Maximoff, for a storyline that Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige has said will link up with her Disney Plus series WandaVision that debuts in December. Marvel had no comment and the storyline and Gomez's character are unknown at this time.

According to THR, actor Benedict Cumberbatch who we all know plays Doctor Strange in the MCU will be joining Tom Holland in Sony's third Spider-Man movie. Following last week's news that actor Jamie Foxx would be reprising his role as Electro, last seen in the Andrew Garfield The Amazing Spider-Man 2 movie, this latest revelation give further credence to the theories that that Spider-Man 3 will have a strong Multiverse tie-in. The next Doctor Strange movie after all is titled Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness.

Get your calendars out because it looks like Marvel and Sony are shuffling release dates for several Marvel movies again. According to THR, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is getting moved from Nov. 5, 2021 to March 25, 2022. Sony's third unnamed Spider-Man movie is taking Strange's old spot of Nov. 5, 2021. Finally Thor: Love and Thunder is getting released a week earlier, going from Feb. 18, 2022 to Feb. 11, 2022.

According to Variety, the original Spider-Man director Sam Raimi is being considered to direct the next Doctor Strange movie which is titled "In The Multiverse of Madness". Last month it had been reported that Scott Derrickson and Marvel had parted ways and he would no longer be directing the sequel. The movie which stars Benedict Cumberbatch is expected to start production in May. The movie is said to also feature Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch) and will have close ties with the new Disney+ WandaVision series which is set to debut in December. Multiverse of Madness is slated to open in theaters on May 7, 2021.

Sources have informed The Hollywood Reporter that director Scott Derrickson has finalized a deal to helm the sequel to Marvel's Doctor Strange which he originally directed and co-wrote in 2016. Benedict Cumberbatch will return as Stephen Strange, the good doctor turned master of the mystic arts, as will Benedict Wong, who played his right-hand man, Wong. Rachel McAdams, who played Stephen Strange’s love interest, is likely to return as well. A search for a writer to pen the script is underway as the plan is for the script to be out in 2019 with production starting in the spring of 2020 and in theaters by May of 2021.
