https://www.instagram.com/p/CUgxWCKJapI/?utm_medium=copy_link Beast Kingdom teased a new line with images of a new Iron Man figure. Curious if it's just going to be the Avengers, just Marvel, or if it will expand to other comic company characters that they have a license for. It also teases medieval times as the theme so maybe they all will be made to look like knights? May be Beast Kingdom's version of Tamashii Samurai series where comic and pop culture characters are stylized as living in Japan's feudal era?

The appearance of Iron Man in the 1960s did not only introduce a wardrobe of high-tech armored suits to fans, but also maintained a regular presence among the members of Avengers. His hulking gray costume in the early days was later redesigned to an ever-sleeker suit of armor that hewed to a red and gold color theme which is still significant until today. Going back to the origins of our favorite super heroes, Hot Toys is bringing The Origins Collection which takes inspiration from the pages of classic Marvel Comics. To kick of the collection, Hot Toys is pleased to introduce the Iron Man Suit Armor (Deluxe Version) as a diecast 1/6th scale collectible figure with re-imaginated crystal armors, and a specially designed Tony Stark’s Workshop themed diorama base to enhance the collecting experience. Exquisitely crafted based on Iron Man in Marvel Comics, the highly detailed figure features a newly crafted helmet head with LED-light up function; intricate design of the Iron Man armor and structure illustrating its mechanical detail; carefully painted in red and gold coloring with a metallic appearance; crystal clear armor parts, interchangeable mask and armor parts for different styles of display; LED light-up functions scattered throughout the upper body, Arc Reactor on chest and palms; multiple pairs of interchangeable hands for iconic poses. there will be a deluxe version and a regular version released. The deluxe version includes a signature Iron Man suitcase with articulated function, also an elaborated diorama figure base with LED light up function, allowing fans to explore Tony Stark’s high-tech workshop straight from the comic pages, includes articulated gantry arms, extra armor parts, and holographic screen accessories.

Earlier this month Hasbro revealed that they were going to be releasing a 6" Marvel Legends Classic Ultron figure sometime in 2021. They however did not officially reveal how or where the figure would be released. I previously told you in a recent Rumor Report that the figure would be released in an Iron Man themed wave. So besides Ultron, I am sure many of you are wondering what other figures will be released in this wave? Well wonder no more. Based on info I have seen, I'm about to tell you how the wave is likely to break down. AGAIN I MUST STRESS, this HAS NOT been officially confirmed by Hasbro, and should be treated as RUMOR for now. I do however also want to point out my track record has been pretty good on this stuff, including when I told you the figures for the House Of X wave back in October and that MODOK was going to be released as a Deluxe figure for $50 in November. I also want to EMPHASIS that my info only pertains to names. I have not actually seen any of these figures yet, and the images used here are for reference purposes ONLY. The actual specific figures may vary some from the versions shown here. One final note before we get to the names. All indications are this will be a regular release wave as opposed to a Retro one, but I can't say with 100% certainty that it's not a Retro wave. I also have no info on what the Build-A-Figure will be assuming there is one. Ok so now that we have all that out of the way, lets get to the names. - Classic Ultron - Darkstar (Unknown if this will feature her classic look or a more modern one) - Iron Man Modular Armor - Iron Heart - Guardsman (My info was not clear if this will be just a regular classic Guardsman or possibly a more specific version like maybe Curtis Elkins who was part of The Jury. Granted the Sentry version would seemingly be more fitting for a Venom themed wave, but we will have to see.) Hologram - (The assumption is that this will be an Iron Man figure, possibly the more modern Model 68 version.) Iron Man Stealth - (There have been several versions of the Stealth Armor featured in the comics over the years, and I have no idea which specific one the figure will actually be based on. My best guess would be that they will repaint the recent Alex Ross Iron Man figure with stealth colors, but we will have to wait and see.) As for the Build-A-Figure , again I have NO info on it, but I am HOPING for a Dmitri Bukharin as the fifth Crimson Dynamo. Classic Titanium Man would be another cool choice, though we already have that one coming from Diamond Select Toys for the Marvel Select line. So there you have it, the RUMORED Iron Man themed wave for 2021. Let us know what you think about it below in the COMMENTS SECTION, and once Hasbro officially confirms or shows the list to be false, we will be sure to update you all.

Having been mentioned ina couple of other threads. Iron Man could easily have his own wave (or two or three). After all, the Iron Monger wave to tie-in with Iron Mna 3 got me back into MArvel legends. A couple of rules though. Keep it to six or seven figures Since this is an Iron Man wave, there has to be at least two Iron Men armours As well as Iron Man friends and enemeies, Avengers and their foes will be allowed So with those established get suggesting

Shown below is a look at the new Iron Man Mark II from the first Iron Man movie and the Mark IV from Iron Man 2. These figures from the overseas company ZDToys stand between 6" - 7" tall and generally have articulation on par with Marvel Legends. Besides doing figures from the more modern MCU movies like Avengers: Endgame, they've already done the Mark III armor and I believe a Mark I and Mark VI version are coming as well from them.

Bringing variety and uniqueness to the masterfully crafted figures, Hot Toys steps up efforts to team up with wonderfully talented artists in creating more exceptional collectibles! Introducing a brand new figure from the amazing Artist Collection, Hot Toys’ latest 1/6th scale Venomized Iron Man collectible figure inspired by Marvel’s Spider-Man: Maximum Venom animated series showed exquisite craftsmanship in a different way. In this monumental collaboration, Hot Toys has invited Mr. Khoo Fuk-Lung, a popular and iconic Hong Kong comic artist to create his own distinctive style of Venomized Iron Man. His design offered an extensive insight into the re-imagined character through unique and incredible visual elements, greatly emphasizing the fine details on the Iron Man armor with powerful drawing attentions to the parasitic Venom symbiote; while Hong Kong sculptor Mr. Joseph Tsang has carefully translated the conceptualized design into a realistic collectible with exceptionally fine details. Measuring at approximately 35cm in height, the highly-detailed figure is crafted based on the re-imagined appearance of Venomized Iron Man in Spider-Man: Maximum Venom. It features two newly developed head sculpts with excellent craftsmanship including a half Venom and half Iron Man appearance with LED light-up function, and a Venom head sculpt; two interchangeable long protruding tongues for different expressions; high-structural diecast components and Iron Man armor parts painted in metallic red and gold colors; arms and legs partially crafted with vinyl material, skillfully painted in black with beautiful metallic bluish purple sheen; multiple articulated pincers outstretched from the chest; LED light-up function on Arc Reactor and left palm; as well as matching interchangeable hands specially designed for Venom and Iron Man half. Moreover, a Special Edition available in selected markets will include a symbiote sword that’s interchangeable onto the incredible figure, recreating the times when Venom turns his symbiote into a weapon. Time to get Venomized and show off your love of the symbiote in Marvel with the one-of-a-kind Venomized Iron Man figure! For fans in America, Europe & Middle East, please stay tuned.

Perhaps my favorite look and possibly the most unique looking of the primary suits worn by Tony Stark, is the Silver Centurion Iron Man armor. The darker red and silver colors were a vast departure from the typical gold and red armor normally worn by the character. The suit first appeared back in 1985 in Iron Man #200. Besides looking very different from previous armors in both colors and design, the debut of this armor also marked the long return of Tony Stark as Iron Man. 2 years earlier in Iron Man #169, Stark gave up being Iron Man due to his struggles with alcohol and handed the reins over to his best friend James Rhodes. Rhodes was the man behind the helmet for such major events as the first Secret Wars and became one of the founding members of the West Coast Avengers. Stark had actually created the Silver Centurion armor for Rhodes, but ended up having to don the suit himself after Rhodes was critically injured at the hands of Obadiah Stane and Stan's Iron Monger armor. Stane and the Iron Monger armor of course later appeared in the first Iron Man movie. Stark continued wearing the red and silver armor for around 3 years, in both the Iron Man and West Coast Avengers comics. Eventually the suit was badly damaged in issue #230 at the hands of another armored character known as Firepower. This was during the classic "The Armor Wars" storyline where Stark also took on former ally Steve Rogers, who at the time wore the USAgent costume and was going by the name of The Captain. The shield Rogers used during that time was actually created by Stark and only contained Vibranium. After the events of "The Armor Wars" and his battle with Firepower in issue #230, Stark faked Iron Man's death and created a new armor and persona for the armored Avenger. At the time Stark's identity as Iron Man was a secret. The new armor while pretty cool in design returned to the traditional gold and red colors. Over the years we have gotten a few action figures based on the comic book version of the Silver Centurion armor. Toy Biz gave us a very cool 6" Marvel Legends version, which featured a removable faceplate and a giant rocket space pack that also acted as a display stand. While Hasbro has yet to give us a 6" version, they did give us a 3.75" version in their Iron Man 2 line, and then again in their Marvel Universe line as part of their comic 2-pack assortment. We have also seen variations of the Silver Centurion from the movies and Armored Adventures done as figures, but those weren't comic book accurate. So when will Hasbro give us a modern 6" Marvel Legends figure based on the Silver Centurion armor from the comics? Well if rumors and computer listings are to be believed, the answer should be sometime later this year, likely released as a Walgreens exclusive. Whether this will be a retooled figure based on one of the more recent Iron Man figures Hasbro has released, or a completely new sculpt remains to be seen, but I have high hopes it will look good either way. The Walgreens's exclusive Iron Man 2020 figure is hitting shelves now, and we know Hasbro also has a new War Machine figure slated for release later this year as a deluxe figure. My guess is, we will see the Silver Centurion announced around July with a later in the year release date. Until then check out this cool custom 6" Silver Centurion Iron Man figure done by Lokoboys. Let us know in the COMMENTS SECTION, will a Silver Centurion Iron Man Marvel Legends figure be a must buy purchase for you?
