  1. Threezero has announced they will be launching a MCU line of figures based on the Infinity Saga for their DXL line. The DXL line up to this point has consisted of high-end Transformers figures that range from 10-11" tall. The DLX Transformers figures have had in the neighborhood of 50 points of articulation, multiple hands, accessories, led lights and figure stands. You can check these out at our sponsor BigBadToyStore.com. No word yet on what Marvel character will be the first to kick off the line, but if I were a betting man I would guess Iron Man. More details for this line will be released in the coming days.

  3. According to The Wrap, Marvel Studios is looking for a Latino male actor in his 30s to lead the cast of an untitled Halloween Special that will air on Disney+. This Halloween special will begin production in early 2022 and the sources within say the character may be based on 'Werewolf By Night,' the name of two separate Marvel characters. Jack Russell, the first character starred in the series, 'Werewolf By Night' series that ended in 1977 after 42 issues. The character was created by Gerry Conway and Mike Ploog based on concepts by Stan Lee and Roy Thomas, and first appeared in a 1972 issue of 'Marvel Spotlight.' Russell is a descendant of the mystically altered offshoot of humans known as Lycanthropes, who eventually becomes capable of transforming on his own volition even without a full moon, and retaining his intellect while transformed. The second character, Jake Gomez, appeared last year in 'Werewolf By Night' (Vol. 3) #1. Created by the writing team of Taboo, Benjamin Jackendoff, and Scot Eaton, Gomez, a member of the Hopi Native American tribe whose family has been cursed with lycanthropy, comes in conflict with a nefarious pharmaceutical company exploiting members of the tribe. It's still too early to say which version of 'Werewolf By Night' serves as the backdrop for the TV special.

  8. The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Emmy award winner Jessica Gao has been hired to develop and lead the writing team on She-Hulk, the Disney+ series from Marvel Studios. Gao won an Emmy for her work on Adult Swim’s Rick and Morty. Gao is the first to be hired for creative development for a series since it was announced by Marvel head Kevin Feige at Disney’s D23 Fan Expo. She-Hulk is Jennifer Walters, an attorney and cousin of Bruce Banner, aka The Hulk. An emergency blood transfusion from her cousin gave Walters her powers but unlike Banner/Hulk, She-Hulk was able to keep her intelligence and personality when she Hulked out. The She-Hulk character was the last major character to be created by Stan Lee.
  9. Jeremy Slater has been picked to develop and lead the writing team on Moon Knight, the Disney+ series from Marvel Studios. Slater is credited for developing and writing the Netflix’s comic book adaptation Umbrella Academy series. This announcement comes after the news of Jessica Gao has been hired to develop and lead the writing team on She-Hulk, which is also a series from Marvel Studios for the Disney+ streaming service. Moon Knight is one of Marvel’s less clearly-defined characters, having had numerous series, mostly short-lived, and several origins, some with superpowers, some with none, since his first appearance in 1975’s Werewolf by Night #32. The hero is ostensibly Marc Spector, a mercenary who has numerous alter egos — cabbie Jake Lockley and millionaire playboy Steven Grant — in order to better fight the criminal underworld. But later he was established as being a conduit for the Egyptian moon god Khonshu. Most recently, he was a consultant who dresses in all-white and goes by the name Mr. Knight. 10. Just days after 20th Century Fox released the first trailer for the upcoming X-Men: Dark Phoenix movie, they announced that the movie's release has been pushed from February 14, 2019 to June 7, 2019.. Fox also announced they will be releasing an as-of-yet untitled Deadpool movie this year on December 21, which no one up until now has heard anything about. The chances Fox made a new Deadpool movie without anyone ever catching wind of it is nearly impossible, which has led many to believe this will just be a kid-friendly version of one of the previous 'R' rated Deadpools. Either that or maybe they will release as a feature movie the previously canceled Deadpool animated series that was slated for FX. This week's X-Men trailer was not received well by many fans who long for the day when Disney's Marvel Studios will take over the franchise, but it is unclear if this release date move is a sign that the studio has a lack of faith in the movie or perhaps the opposite. Summer release dates are often herald for those films expected to do well at the box office, but this isn't the first time this movie has been delayed. Originally this film was supposed to open next month in November and was delayed until 2019 so re-shoots could be done. There has been no word any more re-shoots are planned during this delay, but who knows. Fox also announced that the still directorless Gambit movie which would star Channing Tatum has also been delayed again, this time going from June 7, 2019 to March 13, 2020. The Disney/Fox merger is expected to be completed sometime in 2019, at which point Disney will have full control of all these properties and when or if they will actually be released. My guess at that point movies like Gambit and New Mutants will be completely scrapped, and while I have little doubt X-Men: Dark Phoenix will be a train wreck, being the money has already been spent to make it, Disney will likely still opt to release it.

This one was pretty time consuming, and I had my moments of self doubt, but I’m glad I pushed myself to finish it to showcase here. The torso is from an ML Bucky Cap, the legs are from a movie Winter Soldier, the arms are from a Punisher, the head is from an ML movie Blade, and the wings are from an X-Men Classics Archangel. I added goggles to the head and it was resculpted and reworked to look more like Anthony Mackie. The shirt pockets came from a NECA Hicks, I used styrene for the zipper, sculpted all the fabric wrinkles in Aves Apoxie Sculpt, and used the harness straps from a Survival Suit Bruce Wayne. The hands come from a movie Nick Fury figure. The back leg armor on Falcon is from an Ultimate Iron Man. The wings were the toughest part. I reshaped the Archangel wings some, and used lots of reference images to get the design right. All the detailing over the wings was done with styrene. Very time consuming. Very frustrating. But something I felt was important to do to get Falcon right. Of course everything was painted accurately to the movie, down to the camo pattern on the pants. Last thing to do was to give him some pistols and a flight stand. And now Falcon is ready to fight alongside Cap to take down Hydra! Thanks for looking!

This custom is currently on eBay ---> http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?icep_ff3=2&pub=5575003513&toolid=10001&campid=5337381499&customid=&icep_item=161278397580&ipn=psmain&icep_vectorid=229466&kwid=902099&mtid=824&kw=lg To see more, visit ---> http://www.mintconditioncustom.com/custom-winter-soldier-movie/ I dig the movie Winter Soldier figure from Hasbro, but felt it could have been improved upon. So I took the masked head that came with the figure and sliced the mask and goggles off, dremeled out the back a lot, cut the goggles off and separated them from the mask, and now you can slip them on and off the unmasked head very easily. They tuck in under his hair, so it holds great. I also removed the eye paint on the unmasked head, added some stubble to the face, and a black wash to his hair. So now there’s four different looks the figure can have. I repainted his torso area black, and then dry brushed a bit of leather over it, which is much more movie accurate than it was before. I also did a general weathering job over the whole figure to make it look more realistic. I attached a knife from a NECA Dutch figure that can be removed easily on the back of the belt. The finishing touch was equiping him with weapons he used in the movie. I gave him a rifle similar to one he used in the film, and also cobbled together a gun that looked like the one in the movie that launched that “magnetic disc bomb” in his initial scene. Now Winter Soldier is ready to take down Cap! Thanks for looking!
