  1. It is being reported by Deadline that actor Russell Crowe has singed on for an undisclosed role in the upcoming Taika Waititi directed Thor: Love And Thunder movie. More than likely Crowe's role will only be a minor cameo one, possibly in keeping with scenes that will also feature the likes of Matt Damon. Damon is reprising the role we saw him have in the previous Thor movie. Thor: Love And Thunder is set to open in theaters on May 6, 2022 and will star Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman and Christian Bale who is playing the main villain in this one. There have also been reports of actor Jeff Goldblum being spotted on the set of the new movie, likely reprising his role as Grandmaster as seen in Thor: Ragnarok.
  2. It's been pretty well indicated that Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster character will be taking possession of Mjolnir in the upcoming Thor: Love And Thunde movie where she will be transformed into a female version of the God of Thunder like we saw happen with the character in the comics. Now thanks to some new set photos that have surfaced online we have possible hints to how that might actually happen in the Taika Waititi directed 4th Thor movie. In these image we see what appears to be a shrine to Odin that has been built on Earth by the Asgardians. This shrine looks to have been built around the stone we last saw Odin sitting before he seemingly died in the last movie. This is also the same place where Hela first appeared to confront Thor and Loki and shattered Thor's hammer. We then have some video footage that appears to depict Jane Foster hovering in the air convulsing. The thought process here is that when Jane comes to the shrine and makes contact with the remaining pieces of Mjolnir, she is then transformed into the Jane Foster Thor. This of course is all based on assumptions, so we will have to see if that is actually what happens. Thor: Love and Thunder is currently filming in Australia. We've recently seen other set photos that show Matt Damon, Luke Hemsworth and Melissa McCarthy in costume where they seemingly a recreating scenes from the last movie for a play. The whole play thing is something we first saw in the last movie where Damon played Loki, Luke played Thor and for this one McCarthy will be playing Hela. Right now Thor: Love And Thunder is slated to open in theaters on February 11, 2022.
  3. According to Deadline, actress Jaimie Alexander who appeared in the first two Thor movies as well as an episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as the Asgardian known as Lady Sif is set to return to the MCU for Thor: Love And Thunder. Alexander could also be making an appearance in the LOKI Disney+ series as well.
  4. Variety is reporting that Chris Pratt will be making an appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe's fourth 'Thor' film as the 'Guardians of the Galaxy' character Star-Lord. The fourth Thor movie includes Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson and Christian Bale. The plot details have been kept tightly under wraps, but Thor was last seen aboard Star-Lord’s spaceship in the closing scenes of 'Avengers: Endgame.' Jennifer Kaytin Robinson and Taika Waititi co-wrote the script that Waititi will be directing. The fourth Thor film is set to begin production in Australia in January 2021 with a February 2022 release.
  5. Taika Waititi took home an Oscar win for 'Jojo Rabbit' and now he has his eye on Marvel's 'Thor: Love and Thunder.' Before jumping into the project, he is getting some help from Jennifer Kaytin Robinson in shaping up the script. Robinson, who wrote and directed the Netflix film 'Someone Great,' has joined Waititi to work on the script prior to its production start date later this year. Waititi filmed 'Thor: Ragnarok,' the biggest money making film in the series with $853 million at the worldwide box office. Due to the success of the film, Marvel and Waititi had announced he will be retuirning for 'Thor: Love and Thunder' this past summer, with Chris Hemsworth returning as the God of Thunder and Christian Bale in talks for an undisclosed role. Waititi also revealed that the return of Natalie Portman's character, but also said she would be playing Lady Thor. That aspect may have played a role in Waititi recruiting Robinson for his writing team. Source: Variety
  6. Christian Bale is in talks to play an undisclosed character for Marvel’s Thor: Love & Thunder which stars Natalie Portman as the first female Thor. Chris Hemsworth is set to return as Thor with Taika Waititi directing the project for Disney which opens on November 5th, 2021. For comic book movies, Bale played Batman/Bruce Wayne in Warner Bros.’ Chistopher Nolan Dark Knight trilogy. Source: Deadline
