  1. Director Peyton Reed took to Twitter announcing that principal photography has begun on Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Shown in the tweet is a picture of Cassie Lang’s ugly rabbit from Ant-Man stored with some biohazard materials. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will see Paul Rudd reprising the role of the titular hero from the previous movies as Scott Lang. As always, Lang will partner with Evangeline Lilly’s Hope van Dyne, a.k.a. the Wasp. The duo will be taking on Jonathan Majors’ Kang the Conqueror. Most of the cast from the previous movies will return to their roles. However, Cassie Lang is now portrayed by Kathryn Newton, since Scott Lang’s daughter has grown a lot in the story after the events of Avengers: Endgame. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is scheduled to premiere on Febuary 17th, 2023.

  5. Let’s fly. Marvel Studios’ latest superhero blockbuster Ant-Man and the Wasp starring the titular shrinking heroes and the new flying ant pal currently in theaters. On an urgent mission, Scott is at the pier trying to call for a flying ant and get across the water, but his plan keeps on interrupted by one of the other biggest threat in the film – the seagulls. Today Hot Toys is very excited to expend on the Ant-Man and the Wasp collections with a brand new diorama featuring Ant-Man on Flying Ant and the Wasp Miniature Collectible Set. Come hop on to Ant-Man’s flying buddy along with Ant-Man’s new partner, Wasp, for the new best ride of this summer! This hyper realistic diorama collectible set is available in special promotion condition.
  6. Ant-Man and the Wasp is a fun movie with a much lighter tone than the last Marvel movie, Avengers: Infinity War. While parts will make you laugh, I can’t say the overall plot was terribly exciting. Maybe it just seemed less exciting on the heels of the aforementioned Infinity War. The basic premise of the movie is based on the idea that Janet Van Dyke (Michelle Pfeiffer) has been alive in a quantum packet universe for the past 30 years. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and his daughter Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) enlist the help of Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) to rescue Janet, Hank’s wife and Hope’s mother. To complicate things Scott is still three days shy of completing his 2-year sentence of house arrest following the events of Civil War while Hank and Hope are wanted fugitives in violation of the Sokovia Accords. To make things worse, Hank and Hope aren’t the only ones interested in finding Janet Van Dyne as a new mysterious character called The Ghost enters the fray. The Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), who has the ability to phase in and out of reality, which was cool, but I think the character could have been a lot more interesting. The movie also introduces Bill Foster (Laurence Fishburne), known in the comics by his alias Black Goliath. As with the Ghost, I thought Bill’s character wasn’t bad but could have been a lot more interesting. The movie has all the typical puns and character interactions you would expect from an Ant-Man movie, as well as some decent action scenes primarily involving the Wasp. While I enjoyed the film, I can only rate it as decent but not great. Oh and you will want to stick around for some important after-credit scenes. Grade: C+
  7. The Third Marvel Cinematic Universe entry this year Ant-Man and the Wasp is arriving at the theatre in just a few days! In this upcoming sequel, a newly debuted character with special ability to fly at great speeds, Wasp is teaming up with Ant-Man for an urgent new mission from Dr. Hank Pym! Whether big or small, Wasp’s strength grows to superhuman levels when she uses her powers. Making a grand entrance in Ant-Man and the Wasp, Hot Toys is delighted to present to you today the Wasp in 1/6th scale Collectible Figure!
