  1. Shown below is the new MAFEX X-Men Jubilee figure by Medicom. Pre-orders open tomorrow (10/23). Stay tuned for more details!
  2. With the X-Men soon to be rebooted and rolled into the MCU, I wanted to get some people's thoughts on which actors would be awesome casting choices. Especially since those choices will eventually be MCU Marvel Legends figures. Off the top of my head I think Madelaine Petsch would be an awesome Jean Grey!!!
  3. Isaac Wong has taken some great in-hand shots of the new MAFEX X-Men Cyclops figure from Medicom. The figure is already seeing release overseas. You can pre-order this figure from our sponsor BigBadToyStore.com. The figure includes Interchangeable hands, Sunglasses, 2 Visors and 2 Blast effect pieces.
  4. Today Medicom announced they are expanding their Marvel X-Men MAFEX offerings with a new Psylocke figure. Look for it it to be released in August 2021 and will include two interchangeable portraits, multiple hands, two swords with sheaths, and energy effects pieces. You can pre-order this figure from our sponsor BigBadToyStore.com.
  5. Shown below is a look at the upcoming MAFEX Marvel X-Men Age Of Apocalypse Magneto that appears to be in the works from. Medicom. Details are light at the moment, but it was on display at the 2020 Wonder Festival - Winter event. Images have shown up on social media (Sorry the original source of the images is unknow, if you know feel free to let us know and we will update with a link) . While not shown here, we are going to assume at least a normal helmeted head without the Age of Apocalypse long hair will also be released with the figure. This headsculpt is likely being included to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Age of Apocalypse storyline. This is the third X-Men themed MAFEX figure we've gotten from Medicom, the first being Wolverine which is out now and coming soon is Cyclops.
  6. At long last Arcade1up has announced they are bringing the Marvel 4-player side-scroller video games to homes. This will include the classic X-Men, Captain America and the Avengers AND The Avengers in Galactic Storm which was a single or two-player story mode or multiplayer head-to-head game released in the mid-90's for home platforms. The cabinet will also feature WI-FI like their more recent cabinets so folks can play each other online. No release date or where this one will be offered yet. Here is the official description: For the mighty masses of Marvel mutant fans, it’s time to punch, blast, and slash through the home arcade cabinet you’ve been waiting for: The X-Men 4 Player from Arcade1Up! Providing authentic arcade experiences in a home arcade form factor, Arcade1Up game cabinets are absolute must-haves for family game rooms, man caves, or a welcome distraction in the office. They play great, look great, and are instant conversation pieces. Yep, here it is, with character designs straight out of the legendary Pryde of the X-Men animated pilot. The X-Men 4 Player arcade game was an instant smash hit in 1992, allowing players to control Cyclops, Wolverine, Colossus, Storm, Nightcrawler, or Dazzler, in taking on the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants masterminded by Magneto. Four simultaneous players, amazing mutant powers, endless fun. Ready to team up for some remote play? The X-Men 4 Player arcade game is equipped with Live WIFI; you can fight your way through each level with the help of fellow retrogamers playing from their own cabinets. Oh, and you want more Marvel arcade action? You got it. The classic Captain America and the Avengers AND The Avengers in Galactic Storm are also both included! Gorgeous cabinet artwork (with a matching riser!), stunningly vibrant graphics, and heroes that transcend generations. This is the next stage in home arcade evolution, the X-Men 4 Player cabinet from Arcade1Up!
  7. Marvel Legends Giant Man with a Vance Astro head and ears from a Super Skrull. Some sculpted parts on the arm and belt made from Apoxie Sculpt. A favorite character of mine, Im hoping for more STARJAMMERS in the future from HASBRO.

  9. The results are in! Last month, fans were given the chance to shape X-Men history by voting for the final member of the all-new X-Men team that will debut during June’s Hellfire Gala. Originally announced in X-Men #16, readers were provided a selection of ten different mutant super heroes to select as their choice to join the team. Beating out fellow nominees Strong Guy, Forge, Tempo, Boom-Boom, Marrow, Armor, Cannonball, Sunspot, and Banshee, Polaris has tallied the most votes and will go on to star in Gerry Duggan and Pepe Larraz’s X-MEN. Launching this July, the series will tell the adventures of the first X-Men team in the age of Krakoa, the bold new era of mutantkind that began in Jonathan Hickman’s House of X and Powers of X. “The X-Men election was an amazing experience for the whole X-Office,” Editor Jordan D. White said. “All the creators and editors had a blast seeing the fans’ incredible response to this first-of-its-kind event and we were right there along with you rooting for our choices. It was the perfect way to kick off the new X-MEN title.” The first-ever X-Men election was a huge success, receiving mainstream press and taking social media by storm. Fans everywhere campaigned for their favorite in creative and clever ways resulting in “X-MEN VOTE” trending worldwide on Twitter throughout the election. In the end, Polaris outlasted Banshee and walked away with the victory thanks to a dedicated group of fans eager to see this iconic hero step up in the franchise’s upcoming flagship title. Here were the final results: 1) Polaris 2) Banshee 3) Sunspot 4) Forge 5) Tempo 6) Armor 7) Boom-Boom 😎 Marrow 9) Cannonball 10) Strong Guy Created by comic book legends Arnold Drake and Jim Steranko, Polaris debuted in 1968’s X-Men #49. Joining the team in the tailend of the Silver Age, Lorna Dane became a recurring character in later years before returning to the spotlight in Peter David’s classic run on X-Factor. The daughter of Magneto, Polaris inherited her father’s powerful magnetic abilities and has used them countless times in some of mutantkind’s fiercest battles. The character currently stars in Leah Williams and David Baldeón’s X-Factor where she uses her expertise to solve Krakoa’s most pressing mysteries. Now, she’ll join Cyclops and Jean Grey in becoming chosen champions of mutantkind and the world. “Pepe and I are thrilled to have Polaris aboard this year's X-Men team. Leah and David made her shine in X-Factor, and we're going to make sure she continues to rock in X-MEN,” Duggan promises. “The outline is done and dusted, and every member of the team is going to have their issue not just to be the coolest mutant, but the most important character in the Marvel Universe for one month. Can't wait for you to join us. Hope you survive the experience.” Visit Marvel.com to check out a series of short comics showcasing characters’ reactions to the outcome written by Zeb Wells. And stay tuned tomorrow when the full lineup of the X-Men team is unveiled! Polaris and Banshee in NEW X-MAN Written by ZEB WELLS Art by DAVID MESSINA Colors by RACHELLE ROSENBERG

  12. Well we got a f*#@ed up version of Jean Grey's House of X ML so I decided to kitbash... The head is from the 2 pack dark phoenix alt head, thighs and legs from white rabbit, and boots from spiderwoman. I pealed of the mask from the original head and decided to just make it as an accessory for her to hold.
  13. In a tale of what could have been, toy designer David Vonner who has previously worked at both Hasbro and Mattel recently revealed that years ago he purposed an idea of doing a Marvel, DC, Hasbro, Mattel SDCC collaboration where a action figure boxset would be created based on the classic 1982 Chris Claremont The Uncanny X-Men and The New Teen Titans comic book which was done as a cross-company publication between Marvel and DC Comics. Dave didn't specify which company he was working for when he purposed the idea or for what scale, 6" or 4". He said the idea was to do the boxset as a San Diego Comic Con exclusive with all proceeds going to charity. He said the idea was shot down without blinking an eye, so its probably safe to say there was never much of a chance for this becoming a reality. Still I think most collectors of both DC and Marvel figures would have been pretty excited if such a thing every materialized. What do you think, is this something you would have bought?

  22. This year, Marvel celebrates the 50th anniversary of one of its most unique creations with critically-acclaimed writer Steve Orlando’s three-part CURSE OF THE MAN-THING epic. Kicking off next month with AVENGERS: CURSE OF THE MAN-THING and continuing in April’s SPIDER-MAN: CURSE OF THE MAN-THING, the Marvel Universe-spanning saga will reach its climatic conclusion in May with X-MEN: CURSE OF THE MAN-THING. Throughout the series Orlando will be joined by incredible artists including Francesco Mobili and Marco Failla, and will be teaming up with Andrea Broccardo (Empyre: X-Men, Star Wars: Doctor Aphra) for the unforgettable finale. Man-Thing’s tragic curse has finally been revealed… but it’s under new management! Years ago, Doctor Ted Sallis was ready to give up anything to crack the SO-2 serum and deliver success to his growing family. Unbeknownst to the rest of the world...he did. Today, as cities spanning from the U.S. to Krakoa are besieged by fear-driven blazes, the Man-Thing must reckon with his past deeds if he hopes to emerge renewed and rescue a world on fire. But fighting from his lowest means that Man-Thing can rise to his highest, especially with the unexpected help of the X-Men’s resident sorceress Magik and her debuting team of monstrous mutants known as THE DARK RIDERS! Magik will lead one of the most eclectic group of mutants ever assembled, a fearsome mix of fan-favorites and obscure delights: Marrow, Forearm, Shark-Girl, Wolf Cub, and Mammomax! “It all comes together with X-MEN: CURSE OF THE MAN-THING, and I can't wait for you all to see it! Andrea Broccardo's work bringing to life not just Man-Thing and his new nemesis Harrower, but Krakoa's iconic Magik and her team of Dark Riders has been nothing short of sensational,” Orlando said. “Regrown from nearly nothing, Man-Thing has returned to celebrate his 50th anniversary with a focus and intensity like we've never seen. Maybe he can stop the world from burning, but the real final showdown will be between him and the supernatural zealot that hijacked his powers: Harrower. Luckily, he'll have help in the form of Magik, intent on repaying a debt the Marvel Universe never knew was owed until now. Monster Mutant Mayhem as Man-Thing's 50th reaches its climax!” Since his creation by Stan Lee, Roy Thomas, Gerry Conway, and Gray Morrow in 1971’s SAVAGE TALES #1, the misunderstood swamp monster has taught readers the true meaning of fear in thought-provoking tales by legendary creators such as Steve Gerber and R.L. Stine. Now it’s the X-Men’s turn to burn at the Man-Thing’s touch! See below for a full roundup of the one-shots that will contain this thrilling tale and don’t miss X-MEN: CURSE OF THE MAN-THING #1 when it hits stands in May. 24. Based on the classic X-Men comics, Cyclops joins the Fine Art Statue line, fully revamped in excellent detail! Similar to Wolverine, this statue was digitally sculpted to portray an intense and action-packed battle scene that extends from the base to the statue. The level of energy portrayed in this statue stands out over all the other statues in the Fine Art series; the tiny details like the texture of the skin and the rips and tears on his suit are replicated in a way that only high-quality cold cast resin can achieve. When displayed with Wolverine from the same series, the intense battle scene gets even more intense! You can pre-order this statue from our sponsor BigBadToyStore.com.
  25. I hope you like my fiery dark Phoenix custom.
