Don't think its animosity towards MCU fans, but when someone asks "who the hell is (blank) or who asked for (blank)", it behooves us to try to answer their question....and Educate them. If youre an MCU fan, that's great, but understand that everything great about the MCU came from the comics. Without Marvel Comics, there simply is no MCU. Sadly, some people seem to think if they never heard of a thing, then that thing isn't relevant. But if youre watching Endgame and theres the scene in Dr. Pym's lab where there's a big silvery helmet with antennae on his desk? That's the original Ant-Man helmet. Captain America movie, look at the World's Fair scene. The guy in the red jumpsuit in the large tube? That's the Original Human Torch. Comic book fans know not only did he fight in WW2 alongside Cap and Sub-Mariner, his android body would be the basis for another android decades later- the Vision. Iron Man 2, there's a map of Africa in the background and a pinpoint to Wakanda. There was a HUGE cheer in the theatre then,, because fans knew what that meant. Not to mention all the little after-credit scenes in the movies with Thanos...comic guys knew instantly who that was, and some big crap was about to break off. But if you only know the MCU, that purple dude has no meaning. There's plenty of room for both comic and MCU fans. MCU only fans definitely have the right to express opinions. The great thing is, you can always get some back issues of the comics to see where the inspiration for the movies come from. Its a fantastic time for superheroes! Figures, TV, Movies and Comics!

Just joined and wanted to say hello to everyone. Been collecting for just a few years now. Look forward to contributing more! I also like to cook and love to have my collecting inspire dishes. If you care to see some of my work follow me @unloadingmeat on instagram/Facebook/Twitter. I'm working to get proper equipment to also run a YouTube channel to share recipe videos for my creations. Take care!

Ready for something really unique? Here's a Transformers/Marvel Legends Crossover Bludgeon! He was created using the Silver Samurai body and heavily modded helmet, Ghost Rider head, War Machine armor/forearms, TF Hoist shoulder for the backpack, Overwatch Reaper legs, KO TF Scrapper top for the shield, and some fodder parts. Bludgeon was primered with Bulldog Adhesion Promoter, sculpted sections using Aves Fixit Sculpt, hand painted, airbrushed metallic armor effects, and sealed with Mr Hobby premium Matte. His eyes are glass reflective and he has a 5mm port in his left arm. For more pics head to his page here: Pretender Bludgeon, Marvel Legends/Transformers crossover

Glad to know you're safe and haven't resented the effects of the pandemic. You could try empathy for a change, the fact that you haven't been affected by this doesn't mean nobody has. I'm lucky I can still work and do everything from home, but a lot of friends have either lost their jobs or can't work at all since this broke out, and that means they are limited to what they can and can't afford by their savings. The fact that you and I may be able to pay for something 500usd + doesn't mean that everyone will be, and on the empathic side of things, those 500usd+ could be used for something a bit more helpful to yourself and society. I'm not talking about donating, or even loaning, but you could probably boost those 500 into something more like investing in some business for when the dust settles.

Your personal thoughts on the virus itself are immaterial here. The impact it is having on society and the economy is real and showing pics whether it be online or at a convention would be pointless if people aren't in a position to pay for it right now.

C'mon man, I think you're taking the complaints way too seriously. I mean the entire basis of this site and forums is for the opinions of the figures that are being done and how they're being done and ideas on what coulda been done and what should be done in the future. There's a lot of theory as to whether Hasbro pays attention to this site and others, but Dwight and Tony have both been known to say they watch the boards, and no one can dispute that a lot of what comes up on these boards ends up showing up in the lines. It's a source for venting and finding out what other fans are thinking. If something is an issue here then it's most likely an issue shared through most of the fandom. There are as many people happy with the products as there are unhappy with them, it's just that the complaints stick out more because the happy people are happy so there's really no reason to accentuate it. As for the issues you lined out, well they really are worthy of criticism. I think the whole Johnny Storm situation is mostly based on the body styles they chose for each figure. The first Walgreens figure was incorrectly done on the Bucky Cap mold which everyone pretty much felt was too "big" for the figure, then when they did the powered down version he was on the correct sized buck, which was available at the time they did the first one, and now they don't really match. Of course, this created the desire to have the powered on version to be redone on the correct sized buck. It only reinforces the fact that they used the wrong buck to begin with. For Cannonball, man I don't think anyone can really make an excuse for what was done there. That was just a major swing and a miss. There was almost to many things wrong with it to fully explain. I know the intent was to make it different from the first version but that was the completely wrong way to go about it. First off, there's really no excuse they couldn't have foregone the BAF piece and probably made the blast effect smaller to allow them to include legs. Secondly, the blast effect itself was just wrong. It wasn't a blast effect as much as it was a "blast off" effect. It literally portrays the split second it takes Sam to blast off from a standing position to whenever he takes flight creating the prominent blast radius on the ground. Otherwise, it's completely useless for flying poses or action poses. It's literally about as useful as a McFarlane Color Tops figure from a few years ago. Thirdly, that blast effect was entirely too large in the first place. They actually could have given him legs and just included two smaller effects, one "blasting off" and one "flying" that covered the feet and lower legs for the amount of plastic they used on that giant blast effect to replace his entire bottom half. He is rarely shown in modern times, and only by certain artists with his entire lower body engulfed in flames. They could have met a comfortable medium between the classic look they were trying to meet and the more modern portrayal.

which one do you mean, the Toybiz version or the Hasbro versions? While I do think the swapping is a problem, I think Hasbro should keep the one they have been using as it is more environmentally friendly. If they went with the retro version, the plastic and cardboard will be stuck together and not good for recycling. Plus the normal box is design to be alot smaller and easier to pack and send out to stores. and dear god no Clamshells. They were a nightmare to open.

Ah, embarrassment of riches! So I had finally made it to Walmart, picked up a few things for my sister, and made my way back toward the toy department hoping, but not really expecting, that one of those three Caps Walmart.com claimed to be there, was still waiting for me. I passed the Barbies, the Legos, the Hot Wheels, made a left turn . . . and stepped straight into Christmas. Multiple 80th Caps, several MCU 2 packs, including Luiz and Ghost, at least 2 full sets of the Wendigo wave, and the Grayson/Batman series of DC Multiverse. I turned around, and they even had the WWE Ruby Riott figure I wanted. As a 47 year-old man, I don't wanna admit how close I came to doing some kind of giggling Spongebob-esque "Happy Dance." I coulda done so much damage there. Finally I just had to grab the Cap I came for, and backed slowly away. Self control is its own reward . . . but it still sucks.

Kids, let's keep this on subject. Whatever your views are on racial casting, please, keep them to yourselves. There's no need to always have to create controversy on socio-political matters, we can talk about how awesome it is Ali is playing the Daywalker, or how it sucks that the Netflix shows have been all but wiped from canon, or that "he's too old" to start heading a franchise right now anyway and Snipes should come back... or how awesome it'll be to have Blade inspired figures with the movie coming out. Just, stop trying to make things controversial out of what reads like childish spite.

With the advent of Halloween this month, I still say Hasbro is blowing it by not having a Marvel Monsters box set. Work on it now, release it for Halloween 2021. Tomb of Dracula new figure, new Werewolf by Night, Living Mummy, Frankenstein monster, Lilith, Zombie, and comic book Son of Satan and Satanna. Perfect sell for Hasbro.

So with the hoopla surrounding the Storm/Thunderbird set release , here’s my story. Shout out to GrtwhiteCustoms and or bashpics99 for alerting the community about popfindr as a resource. WAY BETTER THAN BRICKSEEK. I was able to check quantities at local targets in my area via popfindr and figured out my best attack plan. I saw that the quantity change at my closest Target and figured that I would go to the next closest one. I got up at 5:45AM and made it to that Target at 6:30AM. There were two guys in waiting then and I assumed that they were there for the 2 pack as well. But they were there for the new Funko POP releases. I was ecstatic, the store had 4 on hand and I would have 1st dibs!!!! So I chilled (not literally) and to everyone’s surprise a manager or two came to the front around 7:15 to find out what we were looking for and were going to let us know what was in stock. Me being the only one interested in ML, one mgr./employee looked at me as if I was speaking Klingon. I gave him the DCPI and he verified that they had it. When 8AM hit, we all walked in as if we were a school group on a trip. I broke off and went down the aisle where the Legends were. I found ZERO on the shelves. I was getting crazed at this point. I saw an employee two aisles over and gave him the DCPI and he told me that there were zero on the floor but he would check in the back. After he left another customer told me that he saw the set but they were gone in electronics. I almost went apoplectic! I went to electronics dept. register and saw the line of humanity that had been behind me, waiting for their turn and behind the counter was a lot of plastic: the multiple Funko POPS releases, ML 2 packs (Deadpool/Negasonic , Magneto/Professor X, Old Man Logan/Hawkeye, Storm/Thunderbird), Domino (Deadpool 2), Cable (Deadpool 2) and Wolverine (Hugh Jackman). Luckily when I went up to the counter, the manager/employee who check on the quantities for me earlier was ringing people up and told me that he would take care of me. Five minutes later, Ms. Monroe and Mr. Proudstar were mine!!! My Giant Size X-Men team is just about complete (where's that updated Banshee?) So I’m happy and a little tired and had to go to work after this chase, but as Hannibal Smith says, “ I love it when a plan comes together.”

Ive been scratching my head at the notion of an Eternals movie, as Marvel has so many other characters they could do. However I wish them success. One of the issues I have is that from the photo, none of these look anything like comics; well aware that film/tv productions often wont look the same, but there needs to be some resemblance. Virtually none here, and if this action figure is any indication, there's not going to be. The good thing is my wallet will get a break. 😷

What exactly is the complaint here? That Hasbro couldn't force Disney to release films they weren't safely or legally able to complete because of a pandemic? That Hasbro is making too much money off not releasing a bunch of stuff it had planned? That Disney had COVID-19 cooked up in the laboratories they keep in their vault as the perfect ruse to sabotage their wildly profitable MCU? That Mulan engineered the virus in conjunction with Baron Zemo as a means of asserting Chinese authority over the people of Hong Kong? I'm having a hard time putting my finger on what specific grievance you're filing.

Is Cecilia Reyes somehow more absurd as a super hero/villain name than Jean Grey, Emma Frost, Sebastian Shaw, Bishop, Selene, Trevor Fitzroy, etc.? She's a character in a super hero book, but unlike most of the aforementioned she never really had any interest in being a super hero or involving herself in that drama. She just happens to be a mutant with a useful power, and got wrapped up in it all. And believe it or not, not all collectors are grognards stuck in the bronze age. I'd be all over Armor, Dust, or Pixie. Anole doesn't do much for me, but Cyclops in his Astonishing costume is definitely overdue, and I think Rockslide would likely be an awesome toy. I'd also love to see Hellion done well.

This is a load of horsesh1t. First of all, to not stock this 2 pack enough....then to realize the improvements they claimed they were gonna make for Storm, they didn't do. They expressly said in the video months ago that they were not going to release her as she was in the promo pic. She's too flat, and her poncho cape cuffs are gold, not black. What I'm really steamed about is this effing exclusive crap that guarantees a lot of us cant get it. Sold out in seconds.

Excellent points from both, and I can see both sides. I would say that any helmet on a suit of armor like Iron Man's would have to be bigger than the wearer's head; adding the armor itself, not to mention the necessary thickness of the boots, would have to make Stark taller when the suit's on. Most of the artists over the years however have forgotten/ignored this. I wouldn't see him coming in at Thor's height though. The original Marvel Handbook was an excellent source for this kind of info on the characters, and its a shame so many people put all that work in, just to have subsequent writers/artists ignore it. The Marvel Legends Thing was great, but it was indeed a bit too tall. The Beast was definitely too big. What I find odd about tomh was it said Hawkeye was 6'3" but never had I seen any picture with him and Cap where he was taller. And here's where we get a bit murky- if one is ok with him being depicted as shorter, others can see the Thing as taller. Its a slippery slope- as ev says, comic interpretation of a character varies dramatically from one artist to another...and this shouldn't be. Here's where some discipline and editor control need to step in. Yes these are fictional characters, but they have established parameters. They look a certain way, they act a certain way, etc. and in order to stay true to the character they need to conform to that. Yes you can make changes, but they need to make sense. Action figures should follow same. Beast shouldn't be Hulk sized when he's always been around 5'11" and 300+ pounds.

The running gag of the Superior Foes was that they were the Sinister Six despite being five people, so maybe this is Hasbro's own take on it. "They're the Sinister Six, but they are only five characters... aaand there are only four figures."

Considering the sloppy work done on his Batman and Superman DC figures, no, I 'm not interested in a McFarlane type Marvel figure. Now if its based on his art style, but neither he nor anyone affiliated with his company have a hand in the production, that's a different story. Besides I think he's too wound up with his kickstarter. That work looks great by the way. Figures inspired by Cockrum, Buscema, Perez, Bryne, Lee, Adams? Id sure be interested in those.

Looks fine to me. Perfect, actually & 100% comic accurate. Maybe you're not a student of X-Men comics before 1991, but look at the cover of Giant-Size X-Men #1 (1975). Or Art Adams' magnificent (and still definitive) covers, annual & guest artist work for Classic X-Men & UXM (1985 onwards). Or Paul Smith's work on UXM in the early 1980's. Or John Romita Jr's work on UXM (first run). So, I'm seeing Jay C's reveals, and I'm thinking 'Holy sh!t! This is just amazing. Another 30 figures I need! ' It's great! But, Reading the comments...not for all: the big takeaway from at least three regular posters is: inadequate curves on female figures. Ohhh, boy. Here we go again. Blathering about 'Disney PC', and 'body shaming' and 'hurting feelings' and clearly feeling they are being discriminated against if they don't get female action figures with 38DDD upper torso sculpts and 16" waists. And, here was me thinking we didn't do politics + toys anymore here, because it's toxic. And causes people to post insults in response. And rinse and repeat. Here's the thing. I remember the Marvel Swimsuit Specials too (1992 & 1995. Even as a kid I thought these were dumb). But these weren't anomalies - in the early 1990's, Jim Lee and Joe Madureira and Rob Liefield and J. Scott Campbell and Todd MacFarlane and Whilce Portacio and 83 million other pencillers - Marvel, DC & Image - really went all out nuts doing ludicrously exaggerated and anatomically impossible versions of women's bodies (oh, yeah, and men's too. Cyclops was never a weight-lifting body guy, he's a skinny, gawky kid with tone and definition. Like how Chris Bachalo does him now). Every one giggles about Liefield lines and superfluous pockets. There was other stuff too which tends towards bad cliche. Like Scott Campbell's infamous rendition of Medusa. Like, ouch, Scoob. Still, that way of depicting our favourite heroes didn't offend me then, and doesn't now. I'd expect a 1990's Jean Grey action figure to look like 1990's comic (or, to a lesser extent, cartoon) Jean Grey. And sure enough, she does. [Boy, I still love that UXM 'Love Triangle' 3-pack. Just exceptional. Best Legends 3-pack ever. Ever]. Anyway, by 1999, that way of pencilling pretty much stopped. And it's not coming back. It's ONE VERSION of these characters. What came before, and what came after - about 60 years of comics - is far more valid and representative and will - SHOULD - be used as the basis of a sculpt. Storm looks great. And this is still an advanced protype. Please, please, please stop doing that knee-jerk reactionary stuff: personally, I don't want to insult you because of your politics (and Politics - there is a difference, but neither sits comfortably on a collecting website). I'd actually much rather listen to you, as you all have very good/interesting things to say and share without reaching for the 'I hate modern toys. I hate Disney. I hate PC. I hate....I hate...' or 'Hasbro is making me buy toys I don't want to, ' BS. (I'll admit though, that latter sentiment did make me laugh though - I started visualising Hasbro stormtroopers frog-marching fan boys down to Walgreens, and threatening to shoot them if they don't buy Squirrel Girl). You just don't need to push that button. Doesn't matter how right you are, or how right you think you are, it's better to be nice than to be right. Or, alternatively, just stop collecting/posting if it offends too much. And, I hope you'll allow me a digression too after a long ol' post. It's serious. I am 100% psyched for what's coming Legends wise, but as I live in the UK, I'm concerned about whether or not I'll be able to get it in light of the (soon to be declared) SoE here. I've already tested positive for COVID-19 and have been in self-isolation (this is day 6 for me, maybe only 2 more days, maybe 8). I'm more or less fine (ish: I have chronic asthma), but miserable & anxious. I'm worried about my parents (78 and 76, one with COPD) and my partner is even more terrified for hers (both 74, diabetic, one seriously immuno-compromised following stomach surgery last autumn). A lot of stuff is going to be shutting down here (football, sports, public events, festivals, cinemas etc. etc. already have, but schools are still open at this point). Infrastructure will be hit soon. And this situation MIGHT add cost, delay and availability issues to every thing, not least these new waves and figures (and my pre-orders! Black Widow wave & Grey Black Widow; Iron Man 2020; AOA wave and a bunch more). No-one knows. But this is real, this is serious and people you know may well die over the next 12 months. If you're lucky enough NOT to be affected by this yet, good: I hope you can all avoid it. Be sensible, take care and every possible precaution you can and stay healthy and aware of people who desperately need help. And if you hear anyone saying, yeah, they've got a cough, a fever/higher temperature and/or feel a little bit fluey, but, it ain't too bad, so they're going to keep right on working as normal, please hit them hard and forcibly frogmarch them home, making sure they follow whatever guidance has been issued by public health officials. Because this is why people are dying, and why this virus is escalating at an unprecedented and unparalleled way and with a statistically improbable mortality rate. It's kill rate is making bubonic plague or SARS seem like a walk in the park. And we have - leaked by Public Health England this morning - a year of this to go. ONE YEAR. 80% of the UK's population impacted. 7.9million hospitalised (source: the guardian.com/world/2020). Heavy, eh? So, for me, these reveals are a little bit of positivity and goodness in a very bleak time (and believe me, compared to some people, I'm not suffering at all).

Ok...what happened here? These look like 4" Star Wars type figures, at first glance, especially Yelena. There's just a generic "blah" feel to most of the wave, and I'm pissed AGAIN that no one can seem to get the Black Widow right. Did they just re-use the buck from the Endgame figure?? C'mon, show her some LOVE....this is the BLACK WIDOW. Marvel's premiere spy. I know they can do better than this. And why on earth Red Guardian doesn't have a helmet is beyond me. This BAF is not the version I was expecting- I thought for sure the classic Crimson Dynamo suit (Marvel Universe did it in the 4" size, and it was damn near straight out of the comic) was gonna be here. Sorry. I like Spy Master but otherwise....Passing on this wave.

All these are excellent and have would have a legitimate chance of being done. My picks are very similar. Two/three packs are the perfect way to correct mistakes from the past while doing a character never done before (by Hasbro) and making it feel all new. Classic Captain Marvel & Classic Ms. Marvel - seriously, my personal feelings about the whole Captain Marvel situation aside, this needs to be done. We need a new Mar-Vell done the way only Hasbro can do it, and though Disney would like us to forget about the original Ms. Marvel she is a part of her actual history and she needs some recognition & respect. Of course they could include an alternate Karla Sofen head sculpt to do Dark Ms. Marvel. Banshee & Siryn - Hasbro needs to wipe the taste of all the figures they did during the Dark Days of ML out of our mouths. Hasbro has all the parts to do both of these (besides new head sculpts) and do them both right. Spiral & Longshot - Again, a redo and a never done. Hasbro actually did a multi-arm character the right way with the first Spiral, but her rigid remaining articulation and those stupid rotating ankles make her ripe for the redo. And, of course Longshot's never been done by Hasbro, but I have no doubt they can easily out do Toybiz's excellent version. Nick Fury, Jr. & Maria Hill - Fury would basically serve as a Shield Agents army builder on the Reaper mold. It could include swap head sculpts for Commander (Old Steve) Rogers and Masked Agent. Similarly, Hill would have swap head sculpts for Sharon Carter and a Masked Agent. Falcon & Winter Soldier - The Disney+ show is on it's way and it will set pace for reception of all Disney+ offerings in the future, so expect them to put the best effort forward. Hasbro should do the same. We've had some decent MCU versions of both but we've been begging for good comic versions of them for many moons now. If they really need to they can include some newer, better MCU head sculpts to be used with these figures or their previous MCU figures. Modern Strong Guy & Monet (M) - I know Strong guy is just getting his first 6" figure EVER (thank you, Hasbro), but I distinctly remember many people being upset it wasn't his more modern X-Factor Investigations version with the black shirt and jeans. Assuming the big puffy jacket on the upcoming figure is an overlay, then the base figure should already be done and some simple alterations to that buck should do.

I'm a terrible photographer, but here's my collection. A few of them are pretty well-obscured, but this is every X-Men-related figure in the Infinite Series, including all exclusives and Deadpool waves, with the exception of one or two fan channel 80th figures that just haven't made it in to my shop yet (Cowboy Logan, etc.), and with the addition of one older figure. I need to get some flight stands and build some props to help thin out the crowds and make it more visually interesting. Thanks for the pic. Heres the deal as I see it; there’s two scenarios here and while there’s a LOT of potential nuance to the second scenario, I’m more inclined to believe the second. Also, I’m not sure where any confusion came out of this figure with regards to it being exclusive as Hasbro clearly stated/showed it was a Walmart Exclusive back at ToyFair in February. However, with Hasbro producing literally over 100 legends figures a year at this point, I can see how people’s memories can get muddied. I personally keep a running inventory/checklist on everything I collect (which is a lot more than just Legends) so I can keep track of everything at all times. If I didn’t do this, especially given all the lines I collect, I’d most likely go insane trying to remember everything. Also, I know for a fact (due to an extensive former career in retail and store management), that Target (nor other retailers) would be able to return an item that wasn’t in their system, specifically speaking Target as their DPCI system (and each of these 80th figures would have/will have their own DPCI as they are solid cases) is pretty rock solid. Long story short, definitely not a return, even though it’s a similar product. For example, take an item like Tide Laundry Packs. Have you ever noticed that while practically every retailer carries this item, the size and/or count of the item is different at each retailer? There’s a reason for this; due to the volume/size of the chain, the manufacturer strikes a deal with said retailer in what size/count of the product they think they can move. A high-velocity retailer like Walmart can move the most Tide and therefore they are offered the biggest pack size, let’s say 110 count, at the best price. A low-velocity chain like Walgreens, can’t really move that much bulk so the size they get, is tailored to that retailers shelf space and demand for the item, so therefore Walgreens may only offer Tide Pods in a pack of 35 count for example. Next time you’re at a drug store, grocery store, Walmart, Target, etc, go check the Tide Pods and look at the size of the count. You will 100% not see the exact same size/count at each store, minus the non-bulk sizes like a 10-count bag for a buck or two. Wow I’m off the freaking rails here but incredibly long story short, that 76 count bag of Tide pods you bought at Target will not show up in Walmart’s system, because Walmart sells a 84-count bag or something and vice versa etc. I digress...... Scenario 1: This photo is fake/doctored. Period. Personally, I don’t believe it is. Scenario 2: Hasbro has (and without any communication/confirmation...which is not saying that much at the end of the day) offered this figure up as a shared retailer exclusive, to at least also include Target. I mean Target already has 5 Legends exclusives this year so a 6th isn’t that crazy to think about. OR...this figures NEW home is Target and Walmart has been cut out at zero hour. Here’s some of the aforementioned nuance and to anyone that’s relatively new to collecting or to anyone that just collects marvel, this could potentially be informational. #1 Hasbro will shop around an exclusive to other retailers, when they see on-hand stock levels (this is more from DC-Distribution Center level side of things) and sell-through of a particular retailers exclusive, not performing the way they wanted, for whatever reason. Far from the only example of this but I’m just picking a quick one for easy reference, would be the Gamestop Exclusive Deadpool/Venom figure. That figure was solicited, pre-orderable and sold at, exclusively GameStop. However, as time went on, and for whatever reason (Gamestop ordered too many, Hasbro shipped them too much, etc etc pick one) that figure was then solicited to practically every other retailer and they all bit on it (probably an easy sell to them because the box office was so huge from the first movie, it didn’t take much “incentive” for a retailer so sign off on getting an “exclusive deadpool”). As the months went on, this figure was sent to Target, TRU and literally every toy etailer (I cant remember if Walmart took it too). Again this is FAR from the only example I can provide (etailers like EE getting Walgreens exclusives like yellow daredevil, black series c-3po to quickly name some more, etc) but it’s definitely one of the biggest examples. #2 This is where I really think what may have happened: So over the course of the last year, Hasbro (in an attempt that could almost be construed as they are “listening to us”...hahaha) has been letting other companies save or “rescue” a lot of Walmart exclusives, that Walmart has...(wait for it)...blundered. The companies in question that have primarily been doing the “rescuing”...has been EE. This all started around this time or so last year when Star Wars collectors (myself included) were becoming really peeved about Walmart getting not one but TWO Vintage Collection 3.75 figures, a TLJ Island Journey Rey and an awesome Mimban Stormtrooper from Solo. The thing was, was that the Rey was already supposed to have came out in the spring and it just literally never did (not dissimilar to how the Walmart Binary Captain Marvel was already supposed to have been in out in the spring, just like the Target Starforce version was). So as the months went on and on we got to SDCC, the (former) design director for Star Wars (Steve Evans) was directly asked about this and his response was that “the figure had already been on Walmart shelves for months”. When Steve was confronted with the realization that umm yeah...that didn’t actually happen and the figure still doesn’t “exist”, he seemed genuinely puzzled and said he would look into it. A couple months (if memory serves correct) after SDCC and low and behold, it was announced that EE was the “new home” for this figure. Case in point, I bought 3 of those figures from EE and one of them even had the Walmart exclusive sticker on the blister window... EE also took on last years Amazon exclusive MCU 10th Iron Man 3 set. EE has since took on another Star Wars Vintage Collection (TVC) item, the formerly Walmart exclusive large-wing Tie Fighter. There are still more examples I could give but suffice to say, this has been a very reoccurring trend within the last 12 months. To that end, this is why I think Target may also be getting the Walmart 80th Cap, as a retailer rescue partner. Target has REALLY stepped up to the plate with exclusives in the absence of TRU, across many different lines and have minimum tripled the exclusives they now carry (specifically Star Wars where they’ve really gone all in). How has Walmart stepped up to the plate since TRU collapsed? By being Walmart and continuing to mismanage all their exclusives...business as usual. I think this could (potentially) be no more complicated than Hasbro simply rewarding Target for stepping up as a retail partner with their product and buying in on soooooo many exclusives post TRU demise. Who knows though, this might not be a shared exclusive, Hasbro might have just stripped it from Walmart all together and just given it to Target! Really hope that’s the actual case here. At any rate, I’m VERY curious to see what the real deal is with this figure and with the 8/1 fall retailer toy resets around the corner, it won’t take long to find out. I implore EVERYONE on this site to post a sighting of this figure as they seem them, so we can quickly figure out the story on Mr. Rogers. Lastly, please be sure to give this video a like if you want to see more dedicated coverage of Tide Laundry detergent analysis!

I'm pretty sure most people of colour already know it sucks to have every role written for, or otherwise given to, a white person. They don't need another high-profile reminder.

If we're talking pure classic character, Then Dr. Doom is an absolute most. It is a shame that we don't have a new version yet. I would also like a new Mandarin. Maybe the suited body with new hands and hand. Green Goblin is a new head is also a good choice.
