Don't know if anyone has ever brought this up, but I thought it would be kind of cool to have a forum dedicated to posting pictures of members' collections. I know that some of the forums have stickied threads that address this, but it'd be kinda cool to have one forum where we could go in and look through threads that contain nothing but tons of pics of all the awesome collections that some of the members here have. :)

Why is it, when there's something like " Christina Aguillera " typed in a thread, it's highlighted and linked to an Amazon pop-up window when you hover over it? If this is a new way to make money for the site, it sucks. :(

If you have Quicktime on your computer, it's already gonna be in your registry. I'm still not seeing what you mean... As far as it putting itself into my startup, I've never had that problem ever...not even when I go to apple to watch new movie trailers.

With a 5 meg cable connection, load times aren't really a problem. ;)

I don't really have a problem with them for the most part. The only one that's bugged me so far was someone has a Slipknot video in their sig that just starts playing automatically. When I browse the forums, I usually go through each section and right click, "Open in New Window" any threads I want to read, all at once...then go through and read them...so it sucks when Slipnknot starts spewing out of my speakers, and I have to click through 10+ windows to try to find where it is to turn that crap off.

I didn't notice the problem you guys were having, but I have noticed that if I use quotes too many times in a reply, the quote script eventually won't work. But, if I edit the message, and get rid of some of the quotes, they work just fine...

Well, if nothing else, you helped me figure out why the forums wouldn't keep me logged in when I'd leave and come back. Didn't realize the URL for them changed to forums.toynewsi.com...I just use my favorites, which was still going to adctalk.com, so it wouldn't keep me logged in.

I really don't care either way, but my original question still stands...doesn't that get boring? @lol@

Wow...I haven't checked the Game Room out in ages... After I read this post, I went there, and Ob1 is playing every game on the first page by himself. @lol@ Doesn't that get kinda boring?

I don't have much to talk about in regards to toys anymore, although I still collect, but I still have so many friends here, that this is a big slap in the face, and shows me exactly where I feared ADC was going when it changed over to TNI. It's been a gradual push towards "bigger and better" yet forgetting what made this site so great in the first place. I guess it's just about like everything else that sells out to appease the majority... The funny thing is, in terms of "thought policing," this site is getting as bad as theforce.net...which I stopped posting on due to the restriction of conversation, yet that site has hundreds, of thousands, of members. This site merely has a fraction of that, and is already there. I don't like it, and I'm not gonna change my points of view to conform to someone elses's. Oh, BTW...if this shutdown had anything to do with the things I've recently said on the GD forums, I don't apologize. I meant every word. I say things in real life that I don't mean, but here, I proof read most everything and make sure I'm not crossing any boundaries, and don't say anything I don't mean...and I don't feel I was anymore out of line than certain mods were.

Yeah...this sucks. So what if we get in some disagreements? Is that reason enough to lock down the GD area? I just recently got DSL (which means I can argue even faster @loll@ ), and wanted to update everyone with my new email address...now where do I post that? Should I just post it on every forum, and hope that everyone who emails me gets it?

Maybe you guys should check out msn messenger. You can invite people into conversations, and basically make your own chat room in messenger. If we can get enough people on at once, we could have a huge chat. I think the most people we've had chatting at one time is about 6 right now.
