  1. If they invested into new double jointed arms and ball jointed waist/reverse ab crunch this figure could have been easily salvaged, and would feel indeed new but new rubber chest and toe joints hardly make the figure that appealing especially at that price point.
  2. It's kinda interesting change since there was talk of Spider-Man movie being some sort of in between movie of 2 Avengers parts, but I do find it more appealing to have Spider-Man first before the big event movie kicks out, although it does seems they would have to do some rewriting, reminds me how originally America Chavez was supposed to be part of No Way Home.
  3. It's no doubt an improvement and works good enough as movie Lizard but reusing 12-13 year old figure part does seem little bit much.
  4. According to dst site Archangel and Annihilus are "out of stock" while Wolverine, Deadpool and Hobgoblin are still pre order-able on their site as well as on BBTS. I wonder if they did already have these 3 in production or they will be removed soon.
  5. This is incredibly depressing, obviously for us fans because we won't get great looking Hobgoblin, Archangel and Annihilus but that's really nothing compared to what DST staff feels right now, people who lost their livelihoods, their Toy division was definitely promising it's too bad new owner lacked resources and/or vision to see the real potential of DST.
  6. There's nothing worse than pins on human flesh, Hasbro gave pinless tech to so many figures, why not give it to this modified Omega red/Venom body, when they can and will reuse that body for many figures and years to come, they even gave pinless arms to bucky Cap mold (Spectrum figure)
  7. I will check this out, nothing promising but if they really gonna introduce Mephisto, that definitely it is of some interest, especially if he's gonna be played by Sacha Baron Cohen.
  8. It's pretty decent sculpt, so I see the reason why they would reissue this figure but I really hope Hasbro will redo Age of Ultron Cap costume, which was overall the most comic book accurate looking costume that looked really good, if they give him more modern articulation that would be even more sweet, you would imagine that we would all the version of most favorite MCU character done and redone to death by now but this isn't the case, we still don't even have first appearance Wanda outfit from Age of Ultron.
  9. This video kinda makes me wish this Chameleon came with other heads, I would have preferred it to generic rifle. Jameson head would be cool, maybe even repaint of retro Spider-Man head with more dense web lines so it could also fit on Maximum body.
  10. While it's not easy to judge from the single pic it does seems like they did a good job with painting that helmet, silver looks decent and more collector level than Goblin's helmet.
  11. Scale on that figure is really weird. As always I hope SHF will abandon this ugly way of making crotch articulation, it so bad that even otherwise perfect figure is immediately ruined by it, there's really no reason for it, but despite scale and crotch sculpting is pretty impressive on this figure and if keep it in robe it will both stand out but also hide ugliness yet it also hides impressive sculpting work they put into web line sculpting.
  12. I got Maximum Spidey, Chameleon, Monet and Red Sonja (technically ex Marvel). Solid figures overall, Monet has truly beautiful head sculpt, Chameleon was done really well, Maximum Spidey is undoubtedly good but realizing that it's Spider-Man the most popular and profitable character in toy world makes me really wonder how unfair this price hike was considering they could easily offset any high production costs with the just the scale of production they get with character like Spider-Man. Red Sonja is almost great, skin tone they used is way too pale, almost inhuman and plasticy but otherwise solid figure with good sculpt, articulation and accessories.
  13. They did really impressive job with these, especially with Spidey and Panther, it's a really good sign when you can tell which artist this statue is based on right away.
  14. It's nothing special per say but it's definitely enjoyable to watch, it has pretty simplistic plot points it and doesn't attempt to do anything crazy or deep but it's really not necessary especially after so many boring and re-shot and edited to death MCU movies, Marvel needed to have one good simple movie that isn't carried thanks to big name hero (Like Spidey, Deadpool or Wolverine) and they got it, so it does seem like some sort of "Return to form", mainly thanks to really solid cinematography and camera work that does feel fresh, I suppose getting A24 film crew really paid off.
  15. I'm not against this new version of Madam Masque, especially when we get the classic head but what are the chances of us getting classic version after this? Me thinks really slim, so yeah I would have preferred classic version with bonus of the modern head. I'm don't feel the same way about Crossbones since we got 3 releases of him before that, although I personally don't like they grey they picked, much darker grey would have been better.
