VisionQuest Premiere Date Announced

Featured Replies

Marvel Television's upcoming Disney+ streaming series VisionQuest will premiere on Wednesday, October 14. The premiere date was announced by lead actor Paul Bettany during Disney's 2026 Upfronts presentation in New York City.

The show will follow the "White Vision" variant as he struggles to emotionally connect with the restored memories of his past life and seeks to reclaim his individual humanity. Marvel officially considers the 8-episode series to be the concluding chapter of a television trilogy that began with WandaVision and continued with Agatha All Along.

The series is spearheaded by showrunner Terry Matalas (Star Trek: Picard). Alongside Bettany, James Spader is reprising his role as the voice of Ultron. The series will also introduce a grown-up version of Vision's son, Tommy (played by Ruaridh Mollica). Other confirmed cast includes Emily Hampshire, T'Nia Miller, Todd Stashwick, James D'Arcy, and Orla Brady.

wow I almost  forgot about this show glade it's coming soon

I think this is the last of the shows that was pushed under Fiege's effort to appease the former CEO. Not I looking forward to it.

Yeah me too, seems just so like the events are outdated now, White Vision? oh that guy...sure.

Really though happy to see that Ultron will be back, as I personally loved Spader as Ultron, I thought he did a superb job, and Ultron was one of the best villains in the MCU and should have been more formidable in the end, and how will this only be the 2nd appearance (a boat cruise doesn't really count), Ultron can basically never die..so how is he not one of the most recurring and biggest thorn in the Avengers side, Give Ultron more story, he has the potential.

Finally will be nice to see Tommy actually appear, I mean if this  answers more questions about Wanda's story, Agatha, and kids...cool in for it. I mean Agatha a surprise sleeper hit that, really was one of the better MCU shows as of late.

But that being said I hate looking at Pallet Swap vision, it's just so white...no color breaks...ugh.

I am really looking forward to this one. I know it'll be a half assed amalgam of the actual Vision Quest, Tom Kings Vision series, and Vision and the Scarlet Witch. Just enough that none of those stories can be properly told, but not really any where near as amazing a two of those three are to read. But I really liked Agatha, and I still feel like WandaVision is either The best D+ show ever, or top three. It, Hawkeye, and DD are the only series I have rewatched. Glad to get a release date.

(Hawkeye actually gets better ever time I see it. Wish Kate Bishop had shown up in DDBA....or anywhere. C mon guys!)

Edit: I totally forgot about Loki, which is totally wrong, but totally fun. I have rewatched that show as well. Just didn't want to leave it off.

Agreed on Hawkeye being a great show, that feels so underappreciated, I feel like most people didn't even watch it, and it's certainly high up on the best of D+ List, WandaVision sure..I feel like it didn't age as well, it was so exciting when it happened because it was the first of it's kind and we'd been in such a drought and starved for Marvel Cinema, that we woulda eaten anything, once you know the mystery it's kinda...bah, but Loki is no doubt the best D+ Series.

as well gotta agree again with We need more Kate, she was really lovable, and She's such a strong character to have going forward with the new blood of the MCU, would have been good to see her in DD, let alone more then just where we left off in The Marvels. Main;y she has proved to interact well with other characters, like we loved her and Yelena's moments.

if RDJ was anything...it was he played with the sandbox of the Universe and other characters to perfection, complementing anybody he was beside.

And we get this before an X-Men 97 Premiere date? Shame! Shame! Shame! *Rings bell slowly and disgracefully walking past Kevin Feige's Office*

Haven't been this hyped for a Marvel TV show in quite a while. I'll need to go back and rewatch WandaVision again.

Trailer seemed very intriguing, this definitely has a different feel then anything yet, I mean as much as I felt like I was over this story, It is Paul Bettany and James Spader, And I'll watch those guys do most things, also just love this dynamic between the two, Another great thing is this is clearly a mystery, and we really have no clue what's actually going on from this trailer so that's exciting, Plus I'll be happy to get more to the Wanda/Agatha and now Vision trilogy story, Finally getting Tommy/Speed, and giving him more story is something we've all been waiting for, I feel like this just has a bit of Wes Anderson-Vibes, which I can get behind in terms of a new flavor applied to an MCU project.

This trilogy has honestly gone pretty hard. Wandavision was a bit flawed, but nonetheless an awesome, wild, weird and wacky return to the MCU after the COVID hiatus. Agatha All Along I personally liked a lot, though I know it didn't have the best reception, but imo it continued on all the best themes from WV and was a very worthy successor. Now we have Vision Quest and it's looking like it's going to be awesome! Can't wait, and hopefully we get some figures from it and Agatha as well.

Wiccan and Death from that show are very much needed and I'd take a ghost Agatha too. As for this show, right off the bat I definitely want Vision in his new suit, an updated White Vision, a redone Ultron, Jocasta and Speed, who I have to assume will get a suit toward the end of the show like Wiccan did.

It seems promising but I wish it was released much closer to WandaVision, it’s been way too much time between shows, including Agatha Show.
We waited whole 5 years just to see Vision again, momentum has been not just lost but people genuinely started to miss Vision, which to Marvels benefit, could help fans overlook potential flaws this show might have.

Currently rewatching WandaVision...God it's amazing. I absolutely love it. Still annoyed by all the hate it got, and the whole, "but I had to watch a show to understand a movie!!!!!?????!!!?!?!" Whinefest we got. Like for one, use some freakin context clues. Not that big of a deal. B, oh no. You had to watch more content. The horror!!!!

But anyway, off my diatribe. WV was awesome. Agatha wasn't as strong, but still fun. And we got Wiccan!!! So yes. I cannot wait for Vision Quest. Although, I was hoping for a little more from the brilliant Tom King Vision series in this show.

Obviously I'm a huge Vision fan, but I was not blown away by the MCU version. Still, I'll remind myself to catch this....somehow I still havent finished Daredevil or X-Men '97

Started the first episode....certainly a palette cleanser (and much needed) after slogging thru that LANTERNS debacle over on HBO. Still, this clearly isn't an idea of the Vision I can get with. The sci-fi trope about robots and androids (aspiring to have "emotions" ) had an undercurrent; predictable, but I was hoping they would avoid it. Overall its interesting enough to keep my attention though.

I watched the first episode and I really enjoyed it, I'm excited to watch the second one today, I found the pacing, and characters, the story and the writing great, The Dialog between Vision & Ultron makes for a very good dynamic, and I'm genuinely intrigued about the mysteries, I was impressive with how cool I thought the new character was....

It was very different then anything in a while for the MCU, I'm already more interested in this then that thing everyone thought was so good recently, that didn't really woo me.

Liking the first two episodes.

I love Ultron, he’s so beautifully written.
