During an appearance on Josh Horowitz's Happy Sad Confused podcast, Ben Affleck revealed that Kevin Feige has not contacted him about returning as Daredevil, but explicitly stated, "He hasn't. I wish he would." While Affleck noted that he generally feels finished with the superhero genre, he praised the Marvel Studios president as the ultimate Hollywood visionary and the only producer he truly trusts to know what audiences want.

Affleck referred to Feige as "the greatest producer, most successful producer who ever lived." He recalled that Feige was actually standing right there on the set of the 2003 Daredevil film, but simply wasn't in charge at the time.

Affleck joked that if he could go back in time to the Daredevil set, he would find Feige and say, "No, not you. You come here. Come here. What do you think we should do?"

Reflecting on the 2003 film, Affleck poked fun at some of the script's directions, remembering how he questioned why his character was sniffing the air while talking about justice. "Is justice a smell?" he joked.

Though Affleck believes he has otherwise moved past comic book roles, he made it clear that he would trust Feige's judgment implicitly if Marvel ever reached out with a multiversal pitch.

Honestly I really hope Ben's DD doesn't appear in anything, I hate that movie, But anything is possible and likely possible since Elektra showed up, but at this point I can't wait for the Multiverse cross over gimmick to be over and done, I don't want to see anymore characters from old crusty movies coming back just for nostalgic purposes, Unless it's any Punisher, Lundren, Jane or Ray (but that's not going to happen R.I.P.) after saying that though I'll glady watch like 45 new Wes Snipes Blade movies. But that was because those were good, at least the first 2, the 3rd was pushing it.

I'd be fine with a little cameo. I felt he was a better DD then Jen was as Electra and she got a full blown movie and a part in D&W.

Considering Kingpin apparently can't appear in movies, maybe it's the same for DD (Yes, Matt was in Spiderman, but that was Matt and not Daredevil)

I wouldnt mind him in the MCU, just not as DD

No thanks. Don't need anymore nostalgia casting.

The man has become a genuinely good actor since 2003. It might have been cool to see him in Deadpool and Wolverine, but yeah, that ship has sailed.

I think it would be a cool easter egg like a multiverse Daredevil meeting a version of himself briefly

But how much would that cost? We don't need every single possible cameo. Secret Wars wasn't about tons of variant versions running around. I hope they do t totally lean All the way into that.

A small scene of Garner's Elekta and Affleck's DD bickering like real life ex husband and wife could be pretty funny on many levels without feeling too forced.
