  1. I would say they would reveal the Sunspot for the '97 series but they already revealed the comic Sunspot in Brazil so maybe something else. Besides, the 97 wave would probably be revealed closer to the Sentinel release.
  2. Hey, my fellow Plastic Addicts. First off today, if you haven't already, Please vote in the third part of the Best of Marvel Legends '24 where we look at Comic figures. (Click here). We are having quite a battle in all categories, but your vote could tip the scale for your favorite figure. Next up, I would like to announce that Nearcompleteset is now on BlueSky. If you are using that social media site you can follow us here - @komicncs.bsky.social. Lastly, we also look at the latest character to be made into a Marvel Legend with the forgotten side-kick of Spider-man, Bailey Briggs aka Spider-boy. This is a fairly new character but I'm glad to have him because you know, new character is still a new character.
  3. I think they would have announced that by now but you never know with them.
  4. This was HARD. All caps. Newcomer - Lockjaw. I really wanted to pick Crystar but Lockjaw has been a want of mine for decades Remake - Dan Ketch's Ghost Rider AU - Bloodstorm Costume - Classic She-Hulk Re-release - Retro Carnage Villain - Armored Dracula Female - She-Hulk
  5. Hey, my fellow Plastic Addicts. We move onto the third part of our annual Best of Marvel Legends '24 polls. This time we are looking at everyone's favorite set of categories, the Comic categories. I honestly think this is the hardest week of voting every year as there have been so many figures this year. I have tried include everyone I could. As always the winners of these will move onto the finals. You have until 12am GMT Thursday to vote Best Newcomer Here you will choose the figure based on a character that has never been done in Marvel Legends before today. Please decide based on sculpt, paint, articulation and whether it was worth the wait. If it doesn't appear below, Click here. Best Remake Here you can pick the best figure that is a remake of an older figure. To be chosen for this the figure has to be based on an older figure released before and on a NEW body. Make your choice on the usual but also on whether the figure was a improvement over the older figure. click here Best Alternate Universe Here you can pick a figure that is based on alternate reality version of a character that has been released before. These don't include MCU/Video Game/Cartoon version. Click Here. Best New Costume Here you can pick what figure that is based on a costume of a previously released character that has yet to be released until this year. click here. Best Re-release / Repaint Here you can pick a figure that was released before (usually on the same body, pins or no pin) that has either been a straight re-release or a repaint. It doesn't matter if its has a new head, slightly new sculpt or different paint. Click here. Best Villain Here you can vote for the best figure based on villains. I think this is self-explanatory. Click here. Best Female figure Now for the ladies in the line. Here you can choose the best or rather prettiest Female figures of the year. Click here.
  6. Hey, my fellow Plastic Addicts. Today we will look at the results of the second part of the Best of Marvel Legends '24. On Monday I asked you to pick the best figures that were either Exclusives or part of a Multi-pack. Well. you guys have decided and here are the results. Just to reminder you, the winners of these will move onto the Finals. Best Single Exclusive Winner with 45.45%: Target's Warbird Taking the top spot of the best Single Exclusive is the Target exclusive set of the 85th Anniversary, Warbird. Can she also take the best Female comic figure? we will find out next week. Taking second place, we have Death's Head with 25.00% and a very distance third with 9.09% is the retro carded Venom. The rest were Prof X Warlord with6.82% and Captain America (Secret Empire), Retro Carnage and Retro Quicksilver taking last place. Best Non-Exclusive 2-pack Winner with 48.89% : Luke Cage and Iron Fist Taking the non-exclusive 2-pack we have the Heroes for Hire 2-pack from the 85th anniversary line. Granted the rest was best Wolverine with another character but taking second place with 31.11% is the Sabretooth set followed by the Lilandra set and Lady Mandarin set with 6.67%. The f4 Wolverine and Spidey set was next with the Patch and Hulk tuxedo set taking last place. Best Exclusive 2-pack Winner with 31.82%: Giant man and The Wasp Now for the exclusive 2-pack, we have the first one that was really close by the Pulse Exclusive Giant-man and Wasp set. But they weren't without contest as taking second place with 27.27% was the Lockjaw and Crystal set and third with 13.64% was Punisher and Bushwacker. In order, the line up was Hydro man and Daredevil / Destiny and Rogue (Tied), The Sentinel 2-pack / Vulture and Spider-man (Tied) and Wong and Strange / Outriders 2-pack. The Morbius and Dr. Strange 2-pack and the Baron Zemo and Arnim Zola got no vote. Best Multipack (3 or more) Winner with 54.55%: The Cabal As you can tell by the votes and since there was only 2 candidate sets, this was really close but the Cabal set won out in the end. The SHIELD was a great set in it's own right but the fans have spoken. And that is the best Exclusive and Multipack of 2024. Thanks for all that voted. The next part will up later today and it's everyone's favorite so check back later.
  7. Look. it's as simple as this. This is a spider-man wave and they needed at least 2 spider-people for it. They didn't want to give them another Peter so they slotted in the new hotness.
  8. There Bailey is. I haven't read anything with him in it but a new character is a new character.
  9. For me: Single: Death's Head Non Exclusive 2-pack: Luke Cage and Iron Fist Exclusive 2-pack: Crystal and Lockjaw Multipack: The SHIELD set.
  10. Hey, my fellow Plastic Addicts. It's part 2 of our Annual Best of Marvel Legends. Today we look at the various stores exclusive and multi-packs of the year. I know, I know. "Ugh, exclusives". I understand completely. But it's a necessary evil. If Hasbro (or any other company) doesn't offer these exclusive, the major retail chains may refuse to stock their collector products. But that is neither here nor there. As always, I ask you to judge the following NOT on where they were exclusive to or how easy they were to get (or not get) but on the figure itself. Please make your choices based on sculpt, articulation, paint, accessories and value for money. Also remember the winner of each of these moves onto the finals. You have until 12 am, Saturday (30th Nov) to vote. Note: these will not include the Deluxe or BAF waves. 11. Hey, my fellow Plastic Addicts. The results of the first part of our Annual Best of Marvel Legends are here! As always, I would like to thank all who took the time to vote. I know some of these were hard to decide, especially going by the way the numbers went over the few days. But enough about that. Here are the winners of the first part of this year's Best of Marvel Legends. Best Wave Assortment Winner with 25.00%: Strange Tales Blackheart Wave This one was really close. So close, I had to use my tie-breaking privilege to declare a winner. But with 25% of the vote we have the Strange Tales Blackheart wave. This wave was amazing. Obscure characters, remakes that trump others and an amazing BAF. Taking second place, we have the X-men '97 with 23.21%, followed by The Zabu wave with 14.29%. Next with a tie (10.71%) was the Secret Wars wave and the Iron Man retro wave. Bringing up the rear with 5.36%, we have the Spider-verse wave 3, Spider-man retro wave and The Void wave. Best Packaging Art Winner with 34.04%: The New Standard Packaging You know what they say. Sometimes simple is best. The winner of this year's best packaging is the new standard Packaging that Hasbro has begun to release throughout all their lines. Just to remind people this includes the Wolverine 50th anniversary, The Strange Tales wave, The 85th line, Deadpool and Wolverine, Various deluxe (ie the Phoenix set) and the 2-packs (Punisher and Bushwacker). With 27.66%, second place goes to both the Secret War retro packaging and the Death's Head SDCC packaging. Third place with 4.26%, goes to the Modern Spider-man retro card AND the Inhumans 2-pack. Kang is next with a single vote while the MCU re-release got no vote. Best Build-A-Figure Winner with 44.44%: Blackheart I'm going to be honest. I think this was the hardest choice people had. We only had 3 BAFs this year but my god were they all incredible. But there has to be a winner and that is Blackheart. He wasn't without competition because in second place with 31.11% was Ka-Zar's pet, Zabu with the Void coming in Third with 24.44%. Blackheart will move onto the Overall finals. Best Deluxe Winner with 28.57%: Dan Ketch's Ghost Rider with Hellcycle The deluxes this year were on fire (pun intended) but the winner of the best Deluxe and the second finalist for the Overall Best of 24, we have the remake of Dan Ketch's Ghost Rider. In second place with 17.86% with have the Phoenix set with Angel coming in third with 14.29%. Odin was next followed by Venompool, then LTBC Carnage tied with Hulkbuster Iron man, then MCU Man-thing tied with Kang and his chair, then Sam Wilson Cap and Skaar. Poor DP 2 Colossus got no votes. And that is the first set of winners of the Best of 24. Congrats to Blackheart and Dan Ketch as the move onto the finals. The next part, the Exclusives and Multipack, will be up later today.
  12. That is just the standard box design done up in D+W colors so you can vote for that. Unfortunately, the Outsiders fall under Hasbro's army builder set which were done in previous years so they don't count.
  13. according to rumors Retro Chameleon ’90s Clone Saga Kaine Female Electro Spider-Boy (Hinted By Hasbro At SDCC) Spider-Man Unlimited (Hinted By Hasbro At SDCC) Agent Venom
  14. Read. It. Again.
  15. links should be working now.
