Tuggernaut Collectibles takes a look at the Hasbro Pulse Exclusive Marvel Legends X-Men'97 Cyclops and Jean Grey.

Im not sure why they went with a gold color on Jean when Cyclops is a nice yellow. Im not sure I noticed this before.( yeah..looking at the pictures now..I totally missed that!)

And what's with the line running down the front of her boots?

I'm still going to pick this up but Ill be doing some painting when it arrives.

It's great to see that they didn't reuse the goofy-looking head sculpt from X-Factor. However, the classic Cyclops figure from the Toy R Us Phoenix pack featured excellent paint shading, which makes the new figure appear cheap and simplistic in comparison. On a positive note, it's nice to see that they updated Jean's legs and made her taller.

That’s how it’s depicted in the animation. Jean’s costume is just meant to be gold rather than yellow.

I think the lines are meant to be seams or creases. The gloves have them in the animation as well.
