Because of the scale. Believe me, I've considered Thunder Frog, and almost bought it several times. I keep passing, because it's about the size of a Legends figure itself and wouldn't even look in scale with a Hot Toys Thor. It does look good.

Yeah, I'd be really happy with that. Throg is the only thing here I wanted, and I would really rather not have to pay $55 or more for a Thor figure I couldn't care less about to get him.

Here's a general heads up for anybody paying attention: if you're given a warning and told not to do something on one board, and you go do the same damn thing on the other board, there's a very good chance this is the outcome it will bring. We don't tolerate trolls on either board. It isn't ****ing cute.

It also probably prevents people from cancelling a sold-out item from their pile of loot and then immediately ordering it again, so that they can start the 90-day clock over again.

It's been seven years since the retro figure. And, yes, that is a while, but it's not even half the nineteen years since the Holocaust/Nemesis wave's rather poor attempt at a Bradstreet Punisher. Since Hasbro clearly has no problems making figures of Frank, I think a Bradstreet inspired figure and a classic white gloves, white boots, white belt figure on a pinless body should both be doable. One is more overdue than the other, I'd say, though.

It's been a few years, but the Retro cardback Punisher was classic. This is the Punisher I really want: It's been almost twenty years since Hasbro attempted a Bradstreet Punisher and even for 2007, the figure was bad.

Billy Russo/Jigsaw didn't shack up with Madani in season 2. He moved in with his therapist, Dr. Dumont. Both seasons were pretty terrible. I thought Frank just felt a little more true to form in that second season, and I liked the stuff with Amy and Pilgrim, but I had kinda forgotten about the twisted Russo/Dumont romance thing, which I really couldn't stand.

That's really more of a recap than a review up there, Shawn, but okay. I have to say, as someone with a masters degree in psychology, this handled Frank's PTSD not only better than any of his Netflix appearances, but also better than most movies and tv shows. I wish it didn't just leave Ma Gnucci and all that stuff with her unresolved, but I assume they're setting up a Disney Plus Punisher series or another special. I also wish someone would just put "Welcome Back Frank" on screen instead of hinting at it, although this handled it better than the Thomas Jane movie. Bernthal was excellent, as usual. So was Judith Light. I didn't like it. The first season of the Netflix Punisher series turned what happened to Frank's family into some unnecessary and ridiculously overcomplicated CIA conspiracy. As a long time Punisher reader, I found it insulting. As a long time television viewer, I found it insulting. Like you, I also thought Agent Madani was too front and center and felt like the protagonist much of the time. The second season was a little better.

Yeah, that was disappointing to hear. Even the Haslab figure had a silver skull. Once in a while Dan says something that's incorrect. Here's hoping this was one of those times, and he'll correct himself on social media.

Until I see a Bradstreet inspired Punisher, it's not enough. Last year was the 25th anniversary of Welcome Back, Frank. That 2007 figure and variant don't cut it anymore.

There's rumors of Finn Jones coming back. If they do that, you can pretty much count on Élodie Yung coming back, too. No matter how bad she was as Elektra.

I don't think it's pedantic. I think all of us here at Marvelous News strive to be factually correct. I have rewritten the forum version of the story slightly to reflect that Sony owns Spider-Man's movie rights, but not the character outright. I excluded the long-form tv stuff, as I have a headache and honestly couldn't figure out how to integrate that into what Shawn wrote and did not want to do any drastic rewriting of another staff member's news piece. You are completely correct, btw.
