Yeah, that was disappointing to hear. Even the Haslab figure had a silver skull. Once in a while Dan says something that's incorrect. Here's hoping this was one of those times, and he'll correct himself on social media. -

Until I see a Bradstreet inspired Punisher, it's not enough. Last year was the 25th anniversary of Welcome Back, Frank. That 2007 figure and variant don't cut it anymore. -

There's rumors of Finn ones coming back. If they do that, you can pretty much count on Élodie Yung coming back, too. No matter how bad she was as Elektra. -

I really enjoyed it, too. And while I'm not a fan of Josh Gad by any means, I was quite pleased with what they did with him. -
Spider-Man’s Global Streaming Future Announced
Satam replied to ShawnDK's topic in Marvelous News's General Area
I don't think it's pedantic. I think all of us here at Marvelous News strive to be factually correct. I have rewritten the forum version of the story slightly to reflect that Sony owns Spider-Man's movie rights, but not the character outright. I excluded the long-form tv stuff, as I have a headache and honestly couldn't figure out how to integrate that into what Shawn wrote and did not want to do any drastic rewriting of another staff member's news piece. You are completely correct, btw. -
Ted Gilbert. The tv host.

I can't see movies in theaters anymore because I suffer from hyperacusis. I have to wait until something comes to streaming or whatever so that I can control the volume. Watched it last night. I liked it. Some of the banter felt a bit more forced than usual for a Marvel movie, and Mark Gatiss's American accent is one of the worst I've ever heard. Otherwise, no real complaints. Lots to like.

Errors get made. Dan just became brand manager after Ryan Ting was laid off right before San Diego Comic Con. A bunch of people were laid off since then, as well. And Hasbro is threatening to upend a lot of its employees' lives (including Dan, his wife, and his baby) with the announcement that they're gonna move their headquarters from Rhode Island to Boston. September 9th was Dan and Dwight's first stream without Ryan and without one of Hasbro's main video producers. As of October 1st, Dan thought the two pack was still going up on Amazon. He had the wrong info. I guarantee he posted the correction as soon as he found out. Considering everything he and others have been dealing with over there in Pawtucket, let's cut the guy and his colleagues a little slack.

Let's all remember that in-hand from Dan Yun, who is the current brand manager on Marvel Legends, is not the same as an in-hand look from a typical collector, or even a Youtuber whose channel depends on getting figures early like Bobby Bee or Shark Eyes. These are likely one single set of the finished product sitting at Hasbro HQ in Rhode Island, expedited there from the factory. It's not necessarily a sign that this wave will show up in North America next month or even November. I think if we're lucky, these start showing up in December.

NECA has the 7" license. Correct. Six inch is it's own thing, typically. Considering the Disney connection, Hasbro could potentially go for it, but I doubt they'll want to pay the mouse even more money. Cocks seems like he would rather Hasbro get paid for licenses these days than pay for them. Plus, the move to Boston is gonna be costly.
