    #NYTF2019 MARVEL LEGENDS

Man it is a great time to be an xmen fan and a marvel legends fan. There is a plethora of stuff I cant wait for that they showed. Those 2 packs with Classic Colossus and Juggernaut, The HULK w FA Wolverine... By far has to be the best Hulk theyve made to date. Im even willing to bet better than faceoff hulk from tb. The family matters pack is extremely impressive too. A new nightcrawler! and flipping Silver Samurai!! So good. And that Sinister is astounding. Perfect everything. The tb version was awesome but this one easily dethrones it. Classic Dazzler and more Xforce with boom boom and cannonball. Hydro man looks great but is he the BAF?!? does he come with regular arms? And the Scorpion is nice but I hate the version where his face is painted too. It always confused me and looks dumb compared to the original where his chin and mouth are actually unpainted and exposed. Hopefully they do a variant in that design. Ive been waiting for a doppleganger fig for a while but this one does not impress. That head looks really weird and off and the feet look goofy. I will most likely pick him up at some point but not right away.
  2. This is literally the first time ive preordered a figure before... this set looks really nice. kind of sad they reused the prev mags body buuuuut it looks really good how they set him up and ive so desperately needed a good magneto. Also that scarlet witch is impressive. She looks like a custom, in a good way. and Quicksilver is ok.. average.. but a necessary addition. Also just to let you all know, the XMEN Caliban wave is up for preorder on amazon. I decided to do that as well since i dont want to go hunting for the key characters that will be gone everywhere or price jacked to hell.
  3. I actually forgot its based off the first battle with wolverine. Definitely stoked for it. Hopefully prices arent too ridiculous.
  4. Im very curious about that Hulk fig, I hope he ends up finally being the pivotal definitive comic hulk and dethrones the toybiz faceoff hulk. Tall order tho, I already dont like the super neon green BUT if the sculpt is nice, it wont matter. Also very interested in seeing closer looks at these new classic avengers renditions. Gonna be a sick Toyfair!
  5. That Cyclops and wolverine look great. They look perfect to go with a Marvel Vs Capcom or just simply Xmen Vs Street Fighter display. I think that Cyc is pretty good and has much more accurate colors than the Legends one but that price tag is no where near as worth it if you have the Legends one already unless you are a die hard or have the scratch to spare for it.
  6. for once? did you try before? because this is your first and only post.
  7. Might as well try my luck on this guy...shared on the tweets. Good luck my fellow marvel lovers!
  8. Yeah I mean I considered that but why would they even include a sword if its stuck in its sheath? I mean I dont even remember anything with her handling a sword in its sheath like that as a common thing to begin with, she always used her psi swords. But yeah it would suck if it cant come out of the sheath and no sword hand. That second picture looks like its got alot more saturation because everything in that second pictures colors pop out compared to the other. I think they may have turned that up to emphasize the added psi accessories. Maybe the pink didnt come out as well in these proto shots. But it is weird, because between these 2 shots, they look like Hasbros first run of ML Psylocke and the second run where her costume is more a shinier dark purple than a bright blue.
  9. Since I have limited funds, the Hasbro one will suffice for me, but if I didnt, depending on how well this scales which by what you said, might not be as preferable, I still would want to have him just not matched with my legends. I also would kind of preferred him to be "thicker". He seems a bit thin.
  10. This fig looks pretty nice but Ive not bought a MS fig in forever. I loved how their Rogue came out but didnt like the squished faced weirdly designed Beast they made. This one also looks kind of strange in that I dont see extra hands if she were to say wield that katana on her back. She just has a fist and open hand. The pouches are also throwing me off as I dont remember her ever having them.
  11. Im definitely looking forward to most of these. Caliban is pretty much a pass for me unless I get the others for super cheap. My major grabs are Beast, Jubes and Gambito. I want Forge eventually and possibly Blink further down the line. Weapon X looks good but yet again Hasbro cant make a decent unmasked Wolverine head but its a welcome inclusion for those that enjoy it. Really nice addition for the extra reavers head for skullbuster as well. You can tell Hasbro is really trying to sell that balance and poseability that the Toybiz Beast was well known for.
  12. Hasbro cant make unmasked headsculpts for wolverine for S#!t! They are always ugly malformed messes. This one looks better but definitely not perfect. If I had the scratch to spare, Id choose this for sure. The masked head is definitely much better than the ML one but it just comes down to costs and what can be afforded. I like my ML version which suffices my tigerstripe needs but this one looks pretty great overall. FASVB, you at least have a higher chance of getting ML tigerstripe since its 2 per case. Also gotta say I love the anime aesthetic they are going for.. they even have a nod to the Capcom Vs games with that pose..
