  1. That is very true, they are pretty much competitors to eachother. I was just assuming there was more to it potentially.
  2. I really enjoy this sculpt and somehow I like that color scheme. Much more like the original comics. Also glad they fixed the biceps bs but im sure they fixed that from the second reuse of this buck. The blue is pretty neat and really makes it feel like a different figure but also can be interchanged as a regular ironman or a holo tony. Also love that his original head can fit on it. I do have the same concern that this is most likely going to be a buck being reused a few times with very minor tweaks and most likely without the blue in some kind of retro card or whatever else.
  3. I definitely agree and is super weird to even have that kind of conflict with releases from 2 separate companies. Im sure tarot will fully clarify the situation in case i was inaccurate in my assumption so we ll get the full scoop on whats happening tho.
  4. Clever. I dont even know how I didnt consider this thought when I first saw the wave announcement. Now thats some quality content. Also I think the hologram ironman is not the worst when it comes to figures in a wave. Hes at least got multiple things going for him. A good addition to any ironman fan when it comes to background or dio and the fact that its transparent plastic which alot of people go for that arent even fans of the character. If it werent for the fact that shes never had a figure, id place Darkstar in the stinker category. Basic phoned in detail and body mold. She comes with ver
  5. I thought this same thing once they showed off the modular armor. I would go nuts if they started to include marvel vs capcom characters in their gamerverse subline. But even if they just do a variant color, im in. Its a very striking color scheme, especially if they do any kind of metallics or light blue. I believe its because Gentle Giant does alot of sculpts from both companies. Ive noticed in the past that both companies will do the same characters but they are never right after the other and if they are, they are usually very different.. If I recall the walmart excl
  6. Not having any of these MCU movies released is really hurting alot of these waves they have out or are coming out. It doesnt help that they dont feel that fun overall imo. This one in particular is a crapfest but like others said, we dont even know how cool these characters are since the dang movies arent out yet. Very glad i dont really collect MCU. These will be bargain bin in no time tho.
  7. This fig has been such a toss up for me in deciding if hes worth getting. Having the toybiz baf which is pretty stellar and one of the few that stand the test of time from Hasbros exceptional modernizations. Its also hard pill to swallow for $50. If I can find him for $30 down the road, thats an easy get but I think as it stands right now, hes going to be a pass for me. I love that he comes with extra hands and a different faceplate, really great overall.
  8. Firstly, im alittle late to comment about the reveals but EXCSTATIC for modular iron man, my all time favorite armor. Preordered him right away. The wave looks pretty solid imo, but I think I ll just get modular and ultron overall. Ultrons crackle effect is so subtle but so well done, chefs kiss. He looks great too. Maybe snag stealth suit at some point as ive always had a fondness for that armor/effect. Ursa Major looks pretty great but i dont have much connection to him. Guardsman looks good but something seems alittle weird to me of the figure. He ll definitely be hardest to find since you
  9. If you are referring to me in this response, It was a joke. If they change Holocausts name to Nemesis, they sure as hell wouldnt be making 'Hate-monger' in this world a thing. Honestly I dont know alot of FF rogues gallery but I do have a bunch of favorites. I just went and looked up Hs and Ps for their villains and those stood out to me as absurd.
  10. I love that I can pass up that whole wave, not a very exciting baf... but i must say, thats a good reuse of the kingpin/joe fixit molds.(I know its one of them but they are very similar.. i know its joes feet at least XD.
  11. I m sure no one will feel this way and i know he was just a baf this past year but i hope we get another alt color super skrull in the retro card. I also hope the costumes and probably their white and blue costumes. I would love if one of the unnamed are Annihilus or Dragon man but of course those seem more suitable for BAF treatment. Clearly they are Hate Monger and Psycho Man tho.. XD
  12. That Ironman has to be the easiest figure and low production figure theyve made in a while. Its all reused and just different color molding. Altho I guess the tony stark head is new? initially I thought it was the same from the 80th but def not with that duck butt. Btw not complaining, its accurate and with Ironman, its consistent. Definitely an interesting idea.
  13. Hulk so biiiiiiiiiiig. Great hulk but not necessary for me. I dig the 80th more. Great for those that missed the 80th or wanted a massive hulk.
