Avengers: Endgame Brings In $60 Million For US Thursday Preview Screenings And $365 Million Worldwide So Far

Marvel Studio's set a new Thursday evening preview record with Avengers: Endgame which brought in a whopping $60 million here in the United States yesterday. The previous record holder had had been Star Wars: The Force Awakens with $57 million.

The movie is also doing amazingly well overseas where it began rolling out to theaters on Wednesday. For the past two days the movie has brought in $305 million internationally which includes a large chunk from the China markets.

So before the weekend has even really begun the movie has already brought in $365 million worldwide.

Just saw it today, and plan to go back for $5.00 Tuesdays with free popcorn. Question; for anybody who's already seen the movie, there was a young boy at the end, at the service standing outside alone. Who was he? They show different groups standing there but I didn't recognize him.

Avengers: Endgame proved doing a Cinematic Universe right results in rewards of galactic proportions by smashing all Box Office records for it's opening weekend. The movie brought in $350 million in North America and $1.2 billion worldwide. That is almost $100 million more domestically and $560 million more worldwide than Infinity War brought in a year ago. This movie is a accumulation that began 11 years ago and consisted of 22 movies.

Avengers: Endgame for it's second week continues to dominate and break records at the box office. The movie has now brought in $2.188 billion worldwide making it the second movie of all time and the fastest to gross $2 billion globally in just 11 days. It took Avatar which was the previous record holder 47 days to reach that amount.

Here in the US, Endgame has brought in $145 million, beating Avengers: Infinity War" ($114 million) for the second biggest domestic week take, but not surpassing the current record holder which is "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" with $149 million.
