  2. Variety has learned that Samuel L. Jackson will reprise the role of Nick Fury in a new Marvel series currently in development at Disney Plus. The exact plot details are being kept under wraps but sources are saying that Jackson is attached to star with Kyle Bradstreet attached to write and executive produce. Marvel Studios will produce. Jackson has portrayed Fury, the monocular head of the clandestine government agency S.H.I.E.L.D, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe going back to the first “Iron Man” film in 2008. He has appeared in multiple films, most recently in “Spider-Man: Far from Home,” “Avengers: Endgame,” and “Captain Marvel.” He also played the character in two episodes of the ABC series “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Bradstreet is credited with being a writer and executive producer on USA Network series “Mr. Robot.” His other credits include “Borgia,” “Berlin Station,” and “Copper.”
  3. Make a list of 5 figures you would like to see Re-done based on scale and proper proportions. List 5 as to give some sense of priority. Add multiple comments in groups of 5 if you would like. (Say a Mold Hasbro already has and could use). 1. US Agent (Grim Reaper/Captain America Mold) Definitely needs to be in the same league as Captain America. 2. Magneto (Grim Reaper/Captain America mold) I know Magneto isn't always depicted as big, but I love that Jim Lee Representation. 3. Cyclops (Grim Reaper/Captain America mold) Again for the Jim Lee Representation. I think would be a good looking figure. 4. Sentry (Sunfire, Spider UK or Bucky mold) Sentry has never been as big as Thor, he never needed to be. I a revamped Sentry with new cape would be a nice addition. 5. Hawkeye (Grim Reaper/ Captain America Mold) for my Clint Barton Hawkeye anyways. I do like the current Hawkeye for my Dark Hawkeye (which if remade I would like to see on the Sunfire/Bulleye mold).
  4. According to The Hollywood Reporter, 'On My Block' actor Danny Ramirez will be suiting up for the Marvel series The Falcon & the Winter Soldier. Ramirez will be joining returning Marvel actors Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Daniel Bruhl and Emily VanCamp, as well as universe newcomer Wyatt Russell. It's being kept under wraps who Ramirez will play but sources say it will be a pivotal role. The Falcon & the Winter Soldier will be the first Marvel-produced series for Disney+, but production was shutdown due to the pandemic in March, with several weeks of filming left. The series is now expected to stream in August.
  5. What are some people's thoughts on the yellow gloves tease during one of the more recent Legends Livestream. Most people think it will be for Rogue, but which one? Will it be a Jim Lee rerelease (especially after the Best of X-Men rumor)? A Vintage card release (with new head sculpt to match a more X-Men TAS look)? Or possibly a Rogue Age of Apocalypse?
  6. Deadline is reporting that newcomer Imon Vellani has been picked to star in Ms. Marvel, the Disney+ series based on the comic-book character. Marvel and Disney Plus recently named Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy and Meera Menon as directors on the project. The character of Ms. Marvel comes from writer Bisha K. Ali and centers on Kamala Khan, a Pakistani-American teen based in New Jersey. Ms. Marvel first appeared in 2014 as Marvel’s first Muslim character to star in her own title, and she will become Marvel Studios’ first onscreen Muslim hero. 9. According to THR, Marvel has terminated overall deals with TV showrunners Steve Lightfoot (The Punisher) and Paul Zbyszewski (Helstrom). This reportedly comes in response to the turbulent economic times facing the overall entertainment industry due to the recent shutdowns caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Punisher series which aired for two seasons on Netflix had been canceled over a year ago, but the Hulu live-action drama series Helstrom is still slated for release and was able to finish physical production before the shutdowns happened. Zbyszewski has also worked on Agents of SHIELD which will be debuting it's final season on ABC starting next month. Hellstorm came about under former Marvel TV head Jeph Loeb, but managed to survive cancellation when Kevin Feige took over things. The other purposed Hulu live-action series Ghost Rider did not. Since Feige took over, the push for Marvel TV has been MCU spin-off shows set to air on Disney+. The pandemic has reeked lots of havoc on the industry including Disney and Marvel studios, which has had to delay production on several of their projects and move around the release dates for many of it's MCU movies. It's not entirely clear what the final status of Helstorm series will be. The THR article does indicate that Zbyszewski will complete the production on the first season before leaving. With production of the first season being completed, we assume they will still release season 1 at some point. Beyond that though, who knows.
  10. Disney+ and Marvel have tapped Adil El Arbi, Bilall Fallah, Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoym and Meera Menon to be part of the directing team for the Ms. Marvel series. Ms. Marvel hails from head writer Bisha K. Ali and centers on Kamala Khan, a Pakistani American teen. The New Jersey-based hero broke ground in 2014 as Marvel's first Muslim character to star in her own title, and she will become Marvel Studios' first onscreen Muslim hero. Directors El Arbi and Fallah are credited for bringing the Bad Boys franchise back with a third release in January 2020. The Will Smith and Martin Lawrence starrer earned $425.6 million globally. The directors are attached to Netflix's Beverly Hills Cop 4, to star Eddie Murphy, as well as the Muslim family drama Rebel. Obaid-Chinoy is a 2015 Academy award winner for the documentary, A Girl in the River: The Price of Forgiveness, exploring the aftermath of an attempted honor killing in Pakistan, and 2012's Saving Face, which looked at acid attacks on women in Pakistan and made her the first Pakistan-born filmmaker to win an Academy Award. She has also won Emmys for both projects and has collected a total of six in her career, winning in 2014 for Pakistan's Taliban Generation and in 2010 for work on PBS' Frontline/World. Menon is credited with television series such as You, For All Mankind, The Walking Dead, The Punisher, Titans, Dirty John and Outlander. Source: The Hollywood Reporrter

Additionally, the series stars Teyonah Parris, who is playing the adult Monica Rambeau, along with Kat Dennings and Randall Park returning to their roles as Darcy and Jimmy Woo. They’ll all be joined by a brand new character, a “nosey neighbor,” played by Kathryn Hahn. Scheduled for the Fall of 2020 will be The Falcon and Winter Soldier, which stars Anthony Mackie (Sam Wilson/The Falcon) and Sebastian Stan (Bucky Barnes/The Winter Soldier), along with Daniel Brühl and Emily VanCamp reprising their roles as Baron Zemo and Sharon Carter, respectively. 12. Deadline is reporting that director Kat Coiro is in negotiations to direct and executive produce the pilot and several other episodes of Marvel’s She-Hulk series for Disney+. Writer Jessica Gao has already been tapped to lead the writers room. Gao is credited with the Rick and Morty series. The last major character to be co-created by Stan Lee, She-Hulk is Jennifer Walters, an attorney and cousin of Bruce Banner, aka The Hulk. An emergency blood transfusion from her cousin gave Walters her powers, but unlike Banner/Hulk, She-Hulk was able to keep her intelligence and personality when she Hulked out. Marvel's She-Hulk is just one of projects being developed for Disney+, with The Falcon and Winter Soldier, WandaVision and Loki all in production and set to bow in the next year. Coiro is credited with directing numerous TV shows including Netflix’s Dead To Me, Showtime’s Shameless and FX’s It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia, along with Modern Family, Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Mozart in the Jungle.
